NYSC / Re: Riot In Obi Town Nasarawa Over 60 Corp Members Traped by nelklyn(m): 10:11am On Sep 14, 2013 |
@OP I served in OBI LGA Dadere, there's always fighting amongst the ethnics there. In my time i witnessed at least three of such. First things first, forget your L.I if he is still that young slow man He will only come around after the fight has ended, your Z.I if she's still that black political woman won't even be bothered she might even be in her house at lafia, even the SSS assigned to you guys you'd probably not see the man till you finish serving. As for the police station, your lodges are even safer because the last time the villagers beat up the CLO then and some corps members in OBI the police couldn't do anything they said " the villagers will attack them". Just make sure you have enough money with you always, always recharge your phones to stay in touch during such crisis, be at alert even at night because sometimes the fights starts around midnight when your guards are down and stick close to the village women in times of running, they know the right route. Pray to God always to safeguard you all |
Phones / Re: NCC Warns Service Providers On Unsolicited Messages by nelklyn(m): 2:26pm On Aug 31, 2013 |
kunletoks: I can pay #100 monthly not to receive any of their messages.I second this...seriously I don't mind. I hate those text messages from mtn and etisalat and calls from Glo. On one occasion etisalat kept on sending me crazy messages and deducting my balance, and I never subscribed to any thing. Then I resorted to sending them five replies for every text that read "Thieves stop deducting my balance". Funny they replied after receiving like fifteen of mine and said sms blah to blah blah blah to stop receiving messages. Immediately I sent it they stopped bothering me. Now they are at it again. |

My favorites: 1)Haven't called you for a while. My phone rings and it's you calling. Then I pick and say, Wow! I was just about calling you... 2)Having s*x and my phone rings like three times, I ignore it. Call back after my session's over and I'll be like...Xup I just saw your missed call now didn't even hear my phone ring... 3)PING!!! me obsessively, turn off my Data Services, you call and I say bad Network (9ja term) 4)PING!!! Me and i don't want to reply you, I read your ping via view chat history so that it doesn't show "R". You call me later to ask why I didn't reply your ping then I'll say Sorry haven't had time to read my pings! |

Romance / Re: Guys How Do You Feel When A Woman Loves You And You Don't Love Her by nelklyn(m): 2:40am On Aug 30, 2013 |
@OP it really depends on the lady's features. N/B:- I'm only irritated if she's not pretty. -If she's got the right curves I play along, no dulling I no fit carry last. -If she's hardcore I play along, she can handle the aftermath. -If i get to find out that she's bisexual, I dey game die (na collateral damage be that). -If she's a nice little princess, I just tell her straight up that I don't love her but in a friendly manner so that she doesn't feel rejected. BUT if she insists on "the Love can be cultivated speech" I play along. I don't reject any good offer! -If she's a first timer Omo I dey run can't afford the risk of chewing gumming. 1 Like |

-Love with your heart 50% and with your head 50%. -Don't lavish her with too much care. -Know her closest friend and try to decipher the type of person she is, that would go a long way to tell you the type of person you are dating. -Sometimes pretend to be broke to see how she handles it and if she sticks around as often as when you are financially buoyant. |
Romance / Re: Double Egde Betrayal The Story Of My Life! by nelklyn(m): 1:40am On Aug 25, 2013 |
@OP, that lady doesn't deserve you. Even in a mere relationship what she did will linger forever like a tattoo in your heart not to talk of in a marriage. When it comes to feelings there is no manliness. You have to take a week or more off and think about your next action (If she's leaving or staying). But even if you decide she stays you should be ready to live with the pain for quite sometime if not forever and you would still need for her to go away for a while until you can handle her presence. I for one think she perceives you as someone weak, if not she won't have the audacity to be in the bathroom with another man while you are in the sitting room. If i were in your shoes, I would tell my sister because it will hurt her more if she finds out later (you know what they say TIME HEALS) and I will also tell the lady's father, he has to know what his daughter did in the event i decide to divorce her or take her back, which in my case will likely be a divorce, because i will not be able to trust or love her anymore, NEVER. Also I wouldn't want my child to grow up in a family where there is no LOVE. Most of all you'd have to understand that forgiving her doesn't make the whole thing go away. You will still need to put so much effort doing things out of necessity rather than willingly. As for the fool that married your sister, you better not see him as a friend as it stands. If the business you guys are partnering together won't cause you much loss then split. You might even stand a better chance alone. Sorry about your ordeal. |

koastar: It is common saying that it is written in the bible for man to live only 70years, anything above this age is a special grace. People often say this without backing it up with the passage in the bible. We need to be enlightened, please where is it written in the bible? The scripture you are looking for is Psalm 90 vs 10 "The days of our years are threescore years and ten (seventy years)--or even, if by reason of strength, fourscore years (eighty years); yet is their pride [in additional years] only labor and sorrow, for it is soon gone, and we fly away." |

Some impressions need to to be corrected. THERE ARE TWO FORMS OF TITHES WITH DIFFERENT PURPOSES TITHE 1(The Yearly Tithe) PURPOSE:- To Learn to fear God Always Deuteronomy 14:22-26 22 You shall surely tithe all the yield of your seed produced by your field EACH YEAR. 23 And you shall eat before the Lord your God in the place in which He will cause His Name [and Presence] to dwell the tithe (tenth) of your grain, your new wine, your oil, and the firstlings of your herd and your flock, THAT YOU MAY LEARN [reverently] TO FEAR THE LORD YOUR GOD ALWAYS. 24 And if the distance is too long for you to carry your tithe, or the place where the Lord your God chooses to set His Name [and Presence] is too far away for you, when the Lord your God has blessed you, 25 Then you shall turn it into money, and bind up the money in your hand, and shall go to the place [of worship] which the Lord your God has chosen. 26 And you may spend that money for whatever your appetite craves, for oxen, or sheep, or new wine or strong[er] drink, or whatever you desire; and you shall eat there before the Lord your God and you shall rejoice, you and your household. TITHE 2(The End Of Every THREE(3) Years Tithe) PURPOSE:- To provide for the LEVITE(God's Servants), Strangers(Poor, needy etc), Widows and Fatherless. Deuteronomy 14: 27-29 27 And you shall not forsake or neglect the Levite [God’s minister] in your towns, for he has been given no share or inheritance with you. 28 At the end of every three years you shall bring forth all the tithe of your increase the same year and lay it up within your towns. 29 And the LEVITE [because he has no part or inheritance with you] and the STRANGER or temporary resident, and the FATHERLESS and the WIDOW who are in your towns shall come and eat and be satisfied, so that the Lord your God may bless you in all the work of your hands that you do. And also for TITHE 2 From the book of malachi 3:10 "Bring all the tithes (the whole tenth of your income) into the storehouse, THAT THERE MAY BE FOOD IN MY HOUSE, and prove Me now by it, says the Lord of hosts, if I will not open the windows of heaven for you and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it." (Purpose: THAT THERE MIGHT BE FOOD IN MY HOUSE which should be used to feed those in lack) Form the New Testament Paul for instance didn't collect tithes from the churches except welfare gifts that were giving of free will. Philippians 4:10-19 10 I was made very happy in the Lord that now you have revived your interest in my welfare after so long a time; you were indeed thinking of me, but you had no opportunity to show it. 11 Not that I am implying that I was in any personal want, for I have learned how to be content (satisfied to the point where I am not disturbed or disquieted) in whatever state I am. 12 I know how to be abased and live humbly in straitened circumstances, and I know also how to enjoy plenty and live in abundance. I have learned in any and all circumstances the secret of facing every situation, whether well-fed or going hungry, having a sufficiency and enough to spare or going without and being in want. 13 I have strength for all things in Christ Who empowers me [I am ready for anything and equal to anything through Him Who infuses inner strength into me; I am self-sufficient in Christ’s sufficiency]. 14 But it was right and commendable and noble of you to contribute for my needs and to share my difficulties with me. 15 And you Philippians yourselves well know that in the early days of the Gospel ministry, when I left Macedonia, no church (assembly) entered into partnership with me and opened up [a debit and credit] account in giving and receiving except you only. 16 For even in Thessalonica you sent [me contributions] for my needs, not only once but a second time. 17 Not that I seek or am eager for [your] gift, but I do seek and am eager for the fruit which increases to your credit [the harvest of blessing that is accumulating to your account]. 18 But I have [your full payment] and more; I have everything I need and am amply supplied, now that I have received from Epaphroditus the gifts you sent me. [They are the] fragrant odor of an offering and sacrifice which God welcomes and in which He delights. 19 And my God will liberally supply (fill to the full) your every need according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus. MY CONCLUSION: You can decide to give prophet offerings willingly to pastors that feed you spiritually to take care of their welfare. But as for TITHE 2 If it is to be given then it should be used to provide for those in need(in my view especially the poor, fatherless, widows etc). But If TITHE 2 has to be used to take care of God's Servant as well, then such a person should not be engaged in any form of work that yields money for him/her except to Teach the word ofGod (NOTE:- Deuteronomy 14:29 says "And the LEVITE(God's Servants) [because he has no part or inheritance with you]". The Levites had no way of earning income then. |

Were the men putting on trousers and the women putting on skirts? Then alone will you be able to say that trousers are for men and not women because i'm sure this your post is basically meant for women since most if not all men don't wear skirts. |

linearity: It is time to drop a firewall in front of the web server, assign a private IP address to the server and let the firewall handle all in coming traffic.Although systems with private IPs do not connect directly to the internet and computers outside the local network can't connect directly to such systems, and having an IDPS even detects and prevents malicious intrusions. Don't assume it cannot be hacked. NAT only reduces your vulnerability to the outside world. What if those sahara guys have a mole inside their local network? Who is creating the backdoors for the hackers |
