When I lodge in a hotel I don't sleep well, I usually stay alert. My experience at a hotel I lodged when I traveled to Owerri on the 14th of last month, Haven Suits, was creepy. On the 16th at around 12:30 am or almost 1am, I heard someone knocking on my door continuously. I refused to open the door because I wasn't expecting anyone and whoever was knocking was obviously hiding as I couldn't sight the person through the peephole on the door.

I called the receptionist and was furious. I asked her if that's how they send univited guests up to people's rooms and that I wasn't expecting any guest. She was trying to apologize and I just hung up. Some minutes later a guy came knocking that he was the porter. I shouted at him and told him to leave my door that I would see them in the morning.

I decided to check out at daybreak. As I was leaving one of the hotel staff walked up to me after seeing my room key card was for room 402 and was like sorry he was the one that came knocking the second time. He wanted to explain to me that it was a girl going to another room who missed her way that was knocking on my door. Pure BS, if that was true why was she trying so hard to stay out of sight even when I asked, WHO?

One really have to be careful while staying at these hotels or better I avoid them...the other day I read about a woman murdered in a hotel in SA, it's just crazy stuff.

Hello Nairalanders, My girlfriend of two years broke up with me. She broke up with me because of my financial situation right now.

Well it's good you accepted that you did some stupid things. You should never let emotional blackmail from anyone push you into going out of your way to please them.

I get it, you come to hussle also but I see it as intrusion. Imagine a wife packed all her sisters to come live with her and the husband barely a week after marriage.

It's more apt to use words like some or most when referring to a group of people...IMO accommodating their siblings is more of a personal thing and differs from one person to another...I'll rather rent a place for my siblings to stay if their duration of stay will exceed a month, I like to keep unforseen issues to a minimum
