First of all, in as much as it sounds politically correct to say that anybody including the non-christian who prays to God five times a day throughout his life and continuously asks God for forgiveness would go to heaven, I'll like to shock you here with the harsh truth; the answer is NO!

1) Jesus clearly said in no ambiguous term "I am the way, the truth and the life, NO MAN CAN COME TO GOD EXCEPT THROUGH ME". Jesus was not drunk nor was He exaggerating when He made that statement. He was as serious about it as he was serious when He was raising Lazarus from the dead!

2) No man is qualified to come to God on his own because "All have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God". Every man is born as a sinner, and a sinner cannot plead for himself. A guilty man needs an innocent man to plead on his behalf before a judge. That guilty man is us (mankind), that Judge is God, and that innocent advocate is Jesus Christ. This is why when God forgives us, it is not because of us, but because of who is pleading on our behalf (Jesus). So if you don't have the advocate and you try coming to the Judge directly to plead for yourself, you will never get the forgiveness you seek because you don't deserve it!

Remember, our forgiveness from God is not because we deserve it, but because of who is pleading on our behalf. This is why Jesus made it clear that no man can come to God except through Him.

This is also the same reason why a christian who asks for forgiveness from God always gets it if the person is repentant about what he did.

3) You need to understand what "The Grace of God" is and who The Holy Spirit is. If you understand these two, you will discover that IT IS VERY POSSIBLE TO LIVE AS A CHRISTIAN AND BE FAR FROM SIN. It doesn't happen by your power, but by "The Grace of God" and The help of The Holy Spirit.

The bible said "follow peace with all men and holiness, without which no man can see God". That means God wants all men to live holy. If God demands for man to live holy, then it means it is possible for man to live holy because God is not wicked to ask man to do what he has not given man the ability to do. But the secret is this; that ability to live a holy life lies in The Grace of God and The presence of The Holy Spirit. Without this, you can never live a holy life by your own effort no matter how hard you try.

Not sure i can explain all the details in writing here now, but the summary is this; The blood of Jesus can and will wash away the sins of any believer who repents and asks for forgiveness from any sin committed, no matter how many sins the person committed, but The Grace of God which comes by a close fellowship with The Holy Spirit is what empowers a christian to live above sin and live a holy life. Yes......it is possible to be a young christian, unmarried, and yet living a holy life. This is not story-telling, I am an example of it. I know the difference in my life between now and when i did not understand the Grace of God and as a result was always struggling to live a holy life without much success.

You may need to first pick up a dictionary and look up the meaning of the word "religion". That meaning you see in the dictionary is not representative of what Jesus came for here on earth.

If God wanted religion from man, then He would not have bothered sending Jesus into an already deeply religious Jewish society!

Genuine christianity is not a religion, but a relationship with God through Jesus Christ. Yes.....too many people practice christianity as a religion, and those are the people that claim to be christians without even understanding what it means, those are the people you see that call themselves christians but they are also as corrupt as other "sinners", those are also the kind of people you see many a time in political positions that go to churches on sunday, but they are among those stealing the nation's wealth through corruption, etc etc.

Like i said earlier, i have practiced christianity as a religion before, and i know the difference between then and now. I repeat it again; I am not religious. I will never be religious again in my life! Religion takes man away from God while Relationship brings man close to God. They are 2 different things, and I've chosen Relationship!

I know you are used to seeing everything about God as "religion", and that is because human tradition has made it appear that way. I once thought of it like you before, until i encountered the tangibility of God and got to know Him beyond the story books. Religion keeps God in the story books, but relationship takes Him out of the story books and makes Him real to you.

You don't have to like being "preached at" to know the truth. The truth here is that you have no idea yet about what a relationship with God means, and that's why you are so inclined to class it as religion cos it's the way you're used to seeing it. The day you understand what a relationship with God is, you will see the difference in your life, and you will start noticing it from an unexplainable joy and satisfaction and peace that will fill up the vacuum in your heart.

But until you find that relationship, i can assure you that you'll keep searching and none of those things you engross yourself in will fill up the void within........not even too much money or pleasure!

Even people who gave their lives to Christ sin every day. We all sin every day. I know my creator, GOD, is a kind supreme being and provided I live a good moral life, I will make heaven. That is my claim.

Based on your explanation, NO ONE on earth WILL make heaven because we all sin everyday - based on your definitions of sin above.
If anyone comes here and claims they are pure, that right there is a sin because they would have lied. We all lie everyday. If entering heaven means 100% no sin, HEAVEN will be empty because no one will make it.

.....yes indeed, NO ONE ON EARTH CAN MAKE IT TO HEAVEN ORDINARILY, because no matter how much you try as a human being, you must still offend God in one way or another whether knowingly or unknowingly. This is why anybody tbat must make it to heaven needs LEVERAGE.......and that LEVERAGE is THE BLOOD OF JESUS!

The Blood of Jesus is what cleanses our sins. Just like in the days of our ancestors in Africa, when a taboo is committed and the land "defiled", you will hear the chief priest say that "the gods are angry, and they must be appeased by a sacrifice". The sacrifice is usually in form of blood spilled by killing an animal or in some extreme cases a human being, and when the blood is spilled, the land is "cleansed" and the gods stop being angry for a while. This is a similar principle to what the blood of Jesus does for any christian who believes in Christ.

When a christian sins or offends God, all he needs to do is to apply his leverage by genuinely asking God for forgiveness and simply saying "I receive cleansing of my sins by the Blood of Jesus". The moment he does that, God is under obligation to forgive him and cancel his sins immediately.
Note: In such situations, God is obliged to forgive that person, not because the person deserves it, but ONLY because Jesus has made the payment for that forgiveness.

What I just described sounds so simple, but that is the truth and that is the only way a christian can live on earth and make it to heaven. This way, even if the christian makes a mistake 1000times a day, and for each of those 1000times he GENUINELY is sorry and asks for forgiveness from God, he will still get the forgiveness and all his sins will be wiped off and in God's sight, he appears like a man who has no sin! This is the mystery of the Leverage the blood of Jesus provides to everyone who believes in Christ. This is why a christian can go to heaven, because although he may have sinned many times on earth, yet he asked for forgiveness each time he sinned and the blood of Jesus wiped off his sin and made him appear sinless before God.

This is why i earlier put it to you that it is not your "good works" or "good life" that makes you qualified to go to heaven, but your relationship with God through Jesus Christ.

The ordinary mind may think what i explained sounds too simple to be true, but that is just how simple God has made salvation to be, so that everybody can be saved. It sounds simple, but it came at a heavy cost. It cost the life of Jesus for salvation/going into heaven for mankind to be as simplified as this.

This is why nobody has an excuse anymore to give to God if he dies and ends up in hell as a result of rejecting the free gift of God's salvation through Christ.

But can I shock you a bit by telling you a little bit about me? I AM NOT RELIGIOUS. I HATE RELIGION. GOD HATES RELIGION! RELIGION IS ONE OF THE WORST CAUSES OF PROBLEMS ON EARTH TODAY.

God does not seek religion from man, but rather a relationship! God is love, and He loves to express Himself. The best way you express yourself to somebody you love is by having a relationship with the person. This is simply what God seeks from us and nothing more!

Religion makes man think he can find God by obeying a set of rules & regulations to please God, but that is a lie! God already knows that man is too fallible for him to be able to keep all the rules required to meet up to God's high standards, and that is why Jesus came to pay the price for our sins and bridge the gap between man and God. As a result of this, any man can now have access to God by simply entering into a relationship with Jesus who is qualified to take him to God!

Religion makes you think you can find God by trying to obey rules that even the people who set those same rules can't even keep, where as genuine christianity is about a love relationship with God through Jesus Christ. Religion leaves you in a state where you are always STRUGGLING TO STOP YOURSELF FROM DOING WHAT YOU WANT TO DO BUT YOU KNOW IS WRONG BEFORE GOD......AND MOST TIMES YOU STILL END UP DOING THEM, where as A GENUINE RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD THROUGH JESUS CHRIST PUTS YOU IN A POSITION WHERE YOU ARE SO IN LOVE WITH GOD, THAT YOU JUST WANT TO DO WHATEVER IT TAKES TO PLEASE HIM, YOU GET SO IN LOVE WITH GOD, THAT YOU CAN'T EVEN STAND THE THOUGHT OF HURTING HIM BY DOING WHAT HE DOES NOT LIKE. ALL YOUR HEART'S DESIRE BECOMES HOW TO PLEASE GOD. I have been on both sides of the divide, and i know the difference. Practicing christianity as a religion was such a frustration for me, until i fell in love with God and understood it should be all about a relationship with him and not about Rules & regulations. That was when i knew it was possible to live as a christian without always falling into sin.

The foundation of my relationship with God is my understanding of God's love for me. When I realized that Jesus loved me enough to give up his innocent life in a shameful death just for my sake, and just so that I can be saved by identifying with his price paid for my sin, it was just natural for me to love him back in return.

Deep inside the heart of everyman including atheists lies a void or craving that nothing else can fill except a relationship with God. Some people try to avoid God and think they can fill up that vacuum or internal loneliness by engaging in activities, some try to fill it up by pursuing more money, some try to fill it up by drinking or smoking or sex or fame & popularity, but at the end of the day, they discover all of those things will only give a temporary happiness, and they keep searching for other things again. This is why some rich people keep hustling for more money, thinking internal satisfaction would come by having more money.......but it doesn't!! Only a relationship with God through Jesus can bring that internal peace and satisfaction. Many Rich and famous people that most people dream to be like have ended up committing suicide because they did not find what would fill that internal void in man that only God is designed to fill.

Dear Ebola, you sound as if you already own one of the spare keys to the gates of heaven, and you can enter according to your own rules, whenever you like........hmmmm.

The problem is that many people like you think your good works are enough to take you to heaven.

Let me indulge you a bit; Heaven is a place where no iota of sin is allowed, no matter how small. If you must make it to heaven by your own good works & efforts at living a "good life", then you MUST ensure that from the moment you were born to the day you die, you will not commit any sin at all........and i mean not even 1 little sin!! You must make sure that you have never told a lie, you have never stolen, you have never fornicated or even looked lustfully at the opposite sex, you have never disrespected your elders at any point in your life.......and the list goes on. When you have lived your life to such precise perfection from the day you were born to the day you die, then be sure you are qualified to go to heaven based on your "good life".

But if at any point in your life, you have ever committed any sin at all, or broken any of the commandments of God, then be sure you are DOOMED! God clearly states in the bible that if you break any of the commandments, then you have broken all!! If you keep 99.9% of God's commandments and fail in 0.1%, then you have failed all. Because God's marking system is either 100% or 0%. That is why God's standards are so high that you can never meet up with them as a natural human being trying to live a good life by yourself.

God knew His standard was too high for man to meet up with, and that is why He made a provision by sending Jesus to pay the ultimate price to bridge the gap. Have you ever wondered why Jesus said "I am the way, the truth and the life, no man can come to the father except through me"?? The reason is because no human being can satisfy God's high standards, and so in order to come to God, man must depend on a relationship with Jesus who is qualified to take him to God.


Jesus paid the price for our sins and took upon himself the punishment that was due to us (mankind) as a result of our sins. That is the basis (ONLY BASIS) on which any armed robber, killer, prostitue or any other sinner can be saved and forgiven by God IF THEY GENUINELY DECIDE TO REPENT AND ASK GOD FOR FORGIVENESS.

In fact, the reason Jesus died was so that ALL Sinners can be saved and forgiven if they choose to repent, and Shina Rambo is not an exception. Only faith in the price of redemption paid by Jesus can save anybody, and not the person's good works. This is why "good people" who don't have a relationship with Christ can go to hell when they die, while people we consider as terrible sinners can repent two seconds before they die and go to heaven. In a nutshell, the issue of who makes it to heaven is decided by RELATIONSHIP! A RELATIONSHIP WITH CHRIST OR NOT!!

The fact is this; your problem is not with the question you asked, your problem is with Jesus Christ and what he represents!!

You don't believe in Jesus because you don't think you like what He represents. You don't like what you think He represents because you feel going by what He represents would 'restrict' your freedom to do whatever you want to do in life. You just want to be 'free' and not accountable to anybody but yourself alone in life.

In your "absolute wisdom", you have failed to ask yourself a few important questions about life;
1) where did you come from?
2) were you created by God or you are an ape that evolved?
3) If you were created by a God that exists, then what is His reason for creating you?
4) If you're an ape that evolved, then who created your "parent ape" you evolved from?
5) If you were created by a God, then do you think He would not have His own rules by which you should live/operate your life just like product manufacturers write manuals for operating their products?
6) If you know you were created by God, then do you not think there's more to life than just eat food, grow up, go to school, get a job, marry and have kids, buy houses & properties & cars, collect chieftaincy titles or political titles, get old and die?
7) If you someday decide to go on a 2-week vacation to some exotic holiday destination that you've never been to before, maybe like some Island in the Carribbean, you would naturally want to do a little research and ask a few questions about the place you are going to spend 2-weeks of your life. But you know you will die someday and leave this earth, yet your "absolute wisdom" has not prompted you to ask genuine questions to know where you will spend not just 2weeks.......but eternity!??

This is why you need to understand the reason Jesus Christ came to earth to suffer and die. The only reason He did so is to save sinners.

Jesus was INNOCENT & SINLESS, yet God allowed Him to suffer and die in the place of sinners. That is also the same reason why God allows sinners who have committed the most terrible of sins to be forgiven and set free if they choose to repent and ask for forgiveness.

God does not wish for any armed robber, prostitute, killer, fornicator or sinner to go to hell, that is why He made an escape way for ANYONE who believes. that escape is by believing in the payment Jesus made for your sins and accepting Him.

If while Jesus was being crucified, he could look at the armed robber who was also crucified with him on his right side, and say to him "today you will be with me in paradise", then why can't a sinner like Shina Rambo be also forgiven by God?

Let's pretend you've never read about the story of Apostle Paul in the bible, a man who was so notorious for jailing and killing innocent christians until he had an encounter with Jesus Christ while on his way to Damascus to persecute the christians there.

This same man repented and turned away from his sins and later became the greatest Apostle we know of today. He was used by God to do a lot of great things that even people like Apostles Peter and John who were with Jesus as his disciples didn't even accomplish.

Moral: God does not run a democracy where popular opinions determine what is 'right' or not. God killed His own beloved son Jesus on the cross for just one reason - so that sinners can identify with the punishment/death of Jesus and be saved.

The punishment/payment for Shina Rambo's sins have already been taken by Jesus Christ when he died on the cross for all who will choose to believe in Him, and that is why IT WILL BE A MISCARRIAGE OF JUSTICE FOR GOD TO REFUSE TO FORGIVE HIM THE DAY HE REPENTED AND ASKED FOR FORGIVENESS.

God is a just God, and He will not demand double payment for an offence. Jesus paid for our sins, and that is the ONLY REASON why we don't have to pay for them again IF WE GENUINELY REPENT AND ASK FOR FORGIVENESS.

If a man refuses to accept the payment made on his behalf by Jesus Christ on the cross, then that person has to pay for his own sins by himself......and the ultimate place to pay for your sins is in Hell. The sad thing is that if you choose to pay for your sins by yourself in hell, you can never finish paying for it, that is why Jesus said the fire in hell never goes out and those who go there are damned forever.

The choice is simple; take the easy path by accepting Jesus' payment on your behalf, or pay for your sins by yourself. I know Shina Rambo took the easy path.

Sounds extreme? But that's how convinced I
am about the candidature of Goodluck
Jonathan. I sat earlier today at the Customer
Service Outlet of one of the mobile service
providers and listened in to a discussion
between two men. Both of them were
discussing Femi Aribisala's video on Jonathan's
achievements. They were very surprised that
Jonathan was so under-reported.

Not one to miss this kind of chance, I weighed in. I spoke to them about my experience and before I
finished, I got several other people nodding
affirmatively. It seemed to me that the scales of
'change' has finally fallen.

At a newspaper corner at the Nnamdi Azikwe
Airport, Abuja this morning as I waited to board
a flight to Lagos, I engaged a few travellers on
this issue. It was Jonathan all the way.

One of my good 'egbons' that I've known for a
very long time took me up on my support for
Jonathan today. He wondered why I actively
promoted him. But how can I support people
who can't even change a state and want to
change a country? Rauf Aregbesola has not paid
salaries for 5 months and he is part of the
'change' crew! How can I support a group of
people who will celebrate our trains by day
when they allow their people to board freely
during festivals and then turn back to deride it
as locomotives for political expediency?

Over the last one week, I have been to Kano,
Nassarawa and Benue. I saw with my own eyes
the largest rice mill in Nigeria and I stood in
front of a mountain of paddy rice. I watched as
rice was produced from paddy until they were
put in 50kg bags. I saw the MIVA rice mill in
Makurdi and also saw how the market was
flooded with MIVA rice.

I have visited an auto assembly plant in Nigeria and I saw Hyundai and Nissan Patrol cars rolled out. I visited
Agbara and was part of a team that conceptualized a salt manufacturing plant from start to finish. It is one of the 2 or 3 plants in Nigeria. Two friends of mine were beneficiaries of the YOUWIN programme. JAMB now sends results in 9 hours and no longer 3 months.

Our airports look better and I was pleasantly
surprised that a new wing is springing up at the
Nnamdi Azikwe Airport in Abuja, just like the
new wing in MMIA.

I know indigenous oil and gas players who now handle jobs that expats used to handle a few years ago. I visited Forcados and Bonny and I am a living witness
to the success of the Local Content Act.

Lagos-Ibadan Express Way is one I can never forget.
My kinsman, Olusegun Obasanjo could not do it
in 8 years but Goodluck succeeded where
Obasanjo failed. Where travellers used to spend

Scheme (GES) among others.

The Bank of Industry now alive to her responsibilities. The Nigeria Mortgage Refinance Company set up to
refinance mortgages.

Corruption in fertilizer distribution totally eliminated. Nigeria is now winning the war against Boko Haram after some initial set-back. The trains are back and if you don't like the thought of locomotives- at least
you should credit the achievement of the soon-
to-be-launched 150km per hour speed train on
the Abuja- Kaduna route. And so on.

Am I saying Goodluck is perfect? No, not at all.
There is certainly room for improvement but I
believe he has done enough to be re-elected.
He should consolidate on the power sector. He
should finish the road projects started and most
especially the 2nd Niger Bridge. He should
quickly ensure a full diversification of the
economy. He needs to institutionalize reforms
in the petroleum sector. The list goes on as
there is so much to be done for a nation that
has been in the backwaters for a long time. But
there's no denying that progress has been
made.

When Jonathan wins, he will need to thank
volunteers- people who took it upon themselves
to fight lies with the truth. People who stood
firm and ramrod when others were easily
swayed by the fleeting logic of 'change'. People
who endured all manners of insults to their
persons and went through all kinds of
provocation just so they can push his
candidature. People who stood up to be
counted when it mattered. People who love the
future of this country better than our
ignominious past. People who refused to tow
the line of others and would rather follow their
hearts. People who don't care about short term
gains but would rather think long-term. I have
met absolutely brilliant people during the
course of this campaign and I have learnt so
much from them. These are the real agents if
the kind of change we want- people like
Kennedy Emetulu, Adb Festus Yinka, Viola
Ifeyinwa Okolie, Olabode Omojuyigbe, Ike Ogu,
Amanda Chisom, Awazie Chinomnso, Olutoyosi
Omotoso, Vincent Obadofin, Bayo Adeyemo,
Egbeleke Aderopo and many others too
numerous to mention.
I thank all my friends who support the
opposition also. We have had a long-drawn
campaign full of bile and guile. It is time to put
all that aside and work for the progress of our
nation. Please be peaceful as you exercise your
right. No politician is worth your blood.
I want to encourage everyone to cast their
votes for GOODLUCK JONATHAN. Please re-elect
him.

GEJ knows his party PDP means People's Democratic Party, but Buhari said his party APC means "All Progressive Confidence"

GEJ understands that Global oil prices are determined by the law of demand & supply and as such no one person can choose to regulate it, but Buhari says he will stabilize the price of oil if he becomes president.

GEJ can at least debate on issues, but Buhari is too daft to engage in any debate.

So, based on the few points above and many others which i can't mention now for want of time, i will say that if i was faced with only two options of picking GEJ or Buhari as my child's teacher, I will rush GEJ to immediately become my child's teacher. Buhari will never be my child's teacher cos i don't want my children to turn out daft and of low IQ like Buhari. At least, i don't want my child to think "corruption" is spelt as "kwarruption"

I have been in several situations where i risked losing my job if i said things exactly the way i messed up, and all i had to do was just say a little lie to get out of the trouble, but on those occasions, i said the truth and i still did not even lose the job cos my boss now knows it's better having an imperfect but sincere staff who is willing to improve rather than a liar.

There are many people like me who take Christianity serious, and we will rather be messed up while speaking the truth than lie just to have material gains.

President Goodluck Jonathan is on trial in Saturday's presidential elections. The evidence against him is mounting. Majority of Nigerians exist somewhere on a continuum between slavery and freedom in Jonathan's administration. There is outright subjugation. There is indentured servitude. There is molestation and intimidation. There is fear and insecurity. There is pestilence of social and criminal injustices. There is epidemic of hopelessness. There is metastasized poverty. There is systemic corruption...



There is spiritual blindness. In the stunted economy, those who find work are often exploited and poorly paid if by luck they're paid.

In this campaign season, Jonathan has covered more geographical areas in Nigeria than his counterpart from the opposition party. It is also on record that no Nigerian politician has sought endorsement from unlikely sources and groups like Jonathan. Jonathan with unlimited cash has bought endorsements of prosperity preachers aka gospel comedians of CAN, local terrorists OPC, NDPVF,MEND, Obas, Obis, Babalawos (juju doctors), Ogun, Oya, Sango, Obatala, Soponna, Ayelala, army of brigands and bandits, and lately the Ogbonis.

The political campaign is now in the homestretch. I'll like to remind Mr. Jonathan to cap his endorsements with the most crucial and potent endorsement – the endorsement of Witch of Endor – and he should consider visiting the Witch of Endor for victory in Saturday's election.

Here is why:
The parallels between King Saul and President Jonathan are strikingly overwhelming. Saul had been denied a dynasty and stripped of his kingdom due to his disobedience. Saul had abolished the rules of Holy War, keeping some of the spoils and allowing the King of Amalekite army to live. Like Saul, Jonathan is determined to cling to power. In 2011, he had signed an undertaking that he would not contest for second term. But then, he denied ever seen such a contract.

When he realized his defeat was assured at the polls, he postponed the elections. The cornerstone of his administration is corruption, crime, lack of accountability, and transparency, looting, and violence. In fact, Jonathan had legalized corruption and made it a national creed and national pride. He had converted the treasury to his own personal ATM bribing eligible voters with Dollar on the campaign trail.

Like Saul who spared the king of the Amalekite army, Jonathan spared and surrounded himself with big time thieves, drug barons, election riggers, violent criminals like Buruji Kashamu, Dokubo Asari, Tompolo, Diezani Alison-Madueke, Femi Fani-Kayode, Doyin Okupe, Ayodele Fayose, Bode George, Musiliu Obanikoro, David Mark, and who's who in the Nigeria robbery cartel.

When Samuel confronted Saul with sin, Saul offered “orthodox” excuses claiming that he had spared some animals in order to sacrifice to Yahweh. When critics and opponents confronted Jonathan he said “Corruption is not stealing, corruption in Nigeria is not as bad as it has been exaggerated … how much did Jim Nwobodo stole (sic)?”

Saul refused to step down from his throne after being rejected as king and the situation deteriorated. He was tormented by evil spirit and became increasingly antagonistic toward David, threatening his life on numerous occasions and ultimately pursuing him relentlessly around the wilderness. Likewise, Jonathan is bent on retaining power at all cost after being rejected by in the court of public opinion by Nigerians and the situation of Nigeria degenerates daily.

Jonathan has shown support and approved election rigging methods that will ensure his return to Aso Rock. He's tormented by demonic spirit of corrupt power. He has become more wicked and cruel toward Nigerians and opposition members. He deploys military and police to rig elections for his party.

Probably, the most profound challenges Saul faced as king were matters of national defense. One morning, King Saul was awakened by his secretary of defense with bad news. Somehow the powerful enemy forces of the Philistines had encircled the relatively weak collection of Hebrew troops guarding the Hebrews. The Philistines were on their way to root out the Hebrews.

Saul remembered how well things had often gone when there was no king and the leadership of the Hebrew nation was in the hands of prophets and judges. At the top of the list had been Samuel, whom the Hebrews still mourned. King Saul wondered what Samuel would have advised them to do had he still been living and involved in leading the people to make strategic decisions.

Saul couldn't get that thought out of his head and one thing led to another like what happened when Mrs. Reagan began to consult with an astrologer every morning so that she could advise her husband the Actor/President of the US, how to act in the face of the challenges that would face him that day. The Nigerian Army whose Commander-in-Chief is Jonathan, is no match for the ragtag Boko Haram forces.

Jonathan, chased by desperation, frustration and the lust of power to hold on to the presidency becomes confused, overly-agitated, restless, incoherent, delusional, and can't think right. He has been running from pillar to post. He was in Jerusalem to pray. He attended vigils in Pentecostal churches and other prayer assemblies. Babalawos (Juju doctors), Afas, Ogbonis, name it intercede on his behalf. Like Saul, Jonathan stormed the residence of Atiku Abubakar in the dead of the night looking for support. A reliable source told me Dame Patience, and Jonathan's mother have joined association of familiar spirits to assist Jonathan to win the elections.

As my own campaign contribution to Jonathan's reelection bid, I humbly recommend him to seek the endorsement of mother of all endorsements – endorsement of the Witch of Endor. But this much I can guarantee Jonathan: election cannot be won with the endorsement of the Witch of Endor because the dead cannot direct the living. No amount of endorsements can give Jonathan victory on Saturday the fact that he has long ignored Nigerians, Nigerians are living with the daily ugliness of slum life, and with educational castration and being trampled by the iron feet of exploitation, their emotional outbursts will break out in massive rejection of Jonathan by voting him out on Saturday.

Jonathan will go down in Nigeria's history as probably the most deviant figure. I say that because he reveals and represents a deep cultural preoccupation with failure and inadequacy which are projected unto deviant figures. He serves as a mirror to the culture which produced him – a mirror in which our culture darkly glimpse its own values, distorted by terrifying failure to achieve that which is necessary to move this sleeping giant nation forward.
