PoliticsRe: REBUTTAL: I Won’t Probe The Military - Buhari by Nely77(m): 9:14am On Feb 02, 2015
In my candid opinion, Buhari is trying to impress some people to make sure he gets the power. Again, Buhari is changing to "I will not probe ...." because he knows that his fight against corruption is most likely going to be selective probe of persons. He will never give us honest probe or fight against corruption. Check his past records. GMB's probe is always selective - giving preferential treatment to some persons while jailing and executing others that committed same offense. GMB is not and can never be honest.
PoliticsRe: REBUTTAL: I Won’t Probe The Military - Buhari by Nely77(m): 8:47am On Feb 02, 2015
This is part of the change. GMB changed from "I will probe the Nigerian Army over Boko haram" to "I will not probe the Nigerian Army over Boko haram". What do we believe? Speaking from both sides of his wide mouth. Is that the change he is bringinghuh
PoliticsRe: Buhari Refusal To Participate In Debate Shocks Supporters by Nely77(m): 6:01pm On Jan 30, 2015
GMB has always avoided debate to run away from some important questions an to avoid his past being exposed. It is simple. GMB has no respect for rule of law and cannot effectively lead democratically. He is a dictator. GMB practiced selective fight against corruption. Punished selected people and punished and executed some others That committed same offense. That is a greater aspect of corruption. I pity the people singing his praises. In no distant time, they will all start there songs of regret!

Not 1, not 2, not 3, not 4, ....., but 53 suitcases suspected to be loaded with hard currencies flown into the country and safely taken to someone's house? Atiku was prevented from screening the suitcases at the airport. By who? In whose government? He fought corruption but silenced those that wanted to speak about this. Who is deceiving who?

PoliticsRe: Buhari Will Lead Military To Fight Boko Haram – Osinbajo by Nely77(m): 1:24pm On Jan 27, 2015
Is Osinbajo the spokesperson to Buhari? I hardly hear GMB tell Nigerians what he is going to do except to fight corruption. (Mind you GMB seems corruption-free because he covered his ass well and executed/silenced those that would have opened his ass up). I think Osinbajo is only speaking his own mind which will not count as a vice president. GMB has his hidden agenda for the country. Events will unfold when GMB finally finds his way to Aso rock. Then, Nigerians will see the reality.

This hype and trends on GMB ordinary O'level is trying to prove one thing. GMB must have got the o'level result from Oluwole Grammar School. For those asking if INEC did not clear GMB in the previous elections and if GMB did not contest previous elections and if he had not ruled Nigeria in the past. Mind you. It is not everyone that steals that is a thief. One only becomes a thief if he is caught.

@afolag, the amended 2011 bill says they should tender evidence(certificates) to support their claimed qualifications whereas prior to 2011, they would only state their qualifications.

PoliticsRe: 5 Questions Obasanjo Asked Jonathan In Abeokuta Meeting by Nely77(m): 6:24pm On Jan 15, 2015
Dare to be a Nigerian

If you support PDP, you are paid to do so and apparently a thief;

But if you support APC, you are a patriot who is fighting for Nigeria.

If an APC governor award a km of road for N1.2billion, he is prudent and God sent;

If a PDP governor award same km of road for N500million, he is a thief.

If Fani Kayode joins PDP, he is bastard;

If Atiku joins APC, he is a democrat.

If Jonathan spends N7billion for his office par year, he is a criminal;

If Fashola spend same amount in a year, he is a saint.

If Akpabio approves N200Million as pension, he must be stoned;

If Fashola approved N300million for Tinubu he is a change agent.

If you cancelled toll gate as PDP government, you are an enemy of progress;

But if you build a road in Lagos, with tax payers money and till the road, you are genius.

If you increase school feed as PDP government, you must be crucified;

If you do same as APC government, there must be a reason, cuz Education is not cheap anywhere in the world.

If you share Okada to the poor as PDP, you are poor peoples enemy;

If you ban Okada after election as an APC government, you are only helping the poor to stay alive, so you mean well.

If you single handedly make your daughter a market woman leader in APC state, it is for the progress of the people;

But if your wife is made a permanent secretary in your state by your state government of PDP, you are a greedy fellow.

If you spend N16billion on electricity without power and then support APC, you a navigator;

If you raise N500million through unbundling of same power, you are clueless.

If you fail to pay your workers for a month, but in APC, it is not your fault but someone up there;

But if you failed to pay your worker for a month and still in PDP, you are wicked human being.

If you force your family, in-law and girlfriends as senators and lawmakers on the rest of the party members, you a progressive leader;

But if you act like you don't care in PDP, you are dullard

If you tried to get a third term fraudulently by bribing the legislatures but failed, then support APC, you are democrat and the father of the nation;

If you try to get a constitutional second term in PDP, without their blessings, you an ingrate and silly.

In their time we had Halliburton scandal, ID card scandal, Siemens scandal, we have subsidy scam scandal, we have national stadium contract scandal, we have health budget financial scam, aviation sector scam, we had power sector scandal. How many people did he jail to prove he fought corruption? Rather EFCC was his big stick against his perceived enemies.

In their time we had a sitting governor kidnapped by a thug working for the president. We had a whole region of the country rigged in favor of his party. Morris Ibekwe, a wanted international fraud star won election under PDP.

Those who stole Nigerians blind under PDP; Atiku, Obasanjo, Baraje, Saraki, Wammako, Kwankwaso, Amaechi, Oyinlola, Segun Oni, Okorocha, Ngige, Adeleke, El Rufai, etc, are today the same people financing APC and calling for "CHANGE".

Flashback to 1999, who were these people? Billionaires ? They where nobody. Today, they spend billions and no one dare to ask a question. If you do you are enemy of progress.

They started with "New PDP" when that didn't fly, they joined a cult group called ACN to become APC. Same character with different name.

Sometimes it is better not to be a Nigerian than to be a confused and ignorant one.

PoliticsRe: Buhari Certificate Saga An Assault On The Military - Lai Mohammed. by Nely77(m): 3:32pm On Jan 04, 2015
I disagree that the verification exercise by INEC and that if GMB does not have the certificate, then it is a shame on all of us. It might be a shame on you (writer) but not on me because the masses did not put GMB as head of state then and the masses (including you) had no gut to challenge or question his authority or credentials as he took power and ruled by force (dictator). You are saying this now because there is something you hope to gain from his government if he eventually wins. Try to be realistic and honest.

Okudiover:
FORMER Head of State and All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Candidate in the forthcoming elections, retired General Muhammadu Buhari, has said that the certificate saga against him was meant to ridicule him and his quest to wrest power from President Goodluck Jonathan. The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), yesterday, said it would not be drawn into the controversy as it is bent on delivering credible elections for Nigerians.

Buhari, who spoke with The Guardian through his media aide, Mr. Rotimi Fashakin, Saturday, explained that the present crop of Army personnel has been politicised, the reason for which an officer would challenge the certificates of his superior just to cast an aspersion on him and also favour his principal who would be vying for the same election.

Fashakin said: “The controversy that is being generated by the certificate issue is something that is not acceptable. They are just looking for something to hold desperately to be able to prevent Buhari.

“What are the facts of this case? Before now, Gen. Buhari had contested elections for three occasions. Are you going to say that he didn’t present any certificate for those three times? He also had risen to the position of a Major General in the Army and all his credentials are well documented by the Army in those days. It is not only that he rose to the position of a Major General; he also rose to the position of a military Head of State.

“Now, the Army of that same country claims that he does not have a certificate. It is something that should puzzle us as a people. The Chief of Army Staff said that he does not know what people are talking about, meaning that they do not have records of his certification to have passed certain courses, including academic attainments.”

According to Buhari, “These are issues that raise some questions. That we can have a Major General in the army, whose certificates are now being subjected to debate, point to some political ends. What I would say is that this is a no case submission.

“ May be, the person talking about General Buhari’s certificates today, was just struggling to become a Captain when Buhari was Head of State. Where was he then? So, if they are talking of Buhari’s certificates in the Army, the first question we should ask is: who is the person talking?”

He also argued: “If the Army can come out to deny its own, especially someone who became a GOC, and also commanded three of the four divisions of the Nigerian Army as it were, and now to be subjected to this kind of vilification because of some obvious indescribable political ends, then you know that there is something fundamentally wrong with the nation.

“As a matter of fact, General Buhari was even a prefect in his secondary school, so... it is even a shame on all of us that someone who became our Head of State would now have to be ridiculed in this manner because of some terrible political ends that some people are pursuing. It is a collective shame on us as a people.”

Meanwhile, INEC has continued to keep mum over the alleged certificate scandal involving the APC presidential candidate.

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) had alleged that General Buhari did not possess the requisite certificate to contest in the February 2015 presidential election, claiming that he submitted a sworn affidavit to INEC, rather than the original of his certificates.

INEC yesterday refused to react to the recent comments from the Nigerian Army, saying it was not in possession of Buhari’s original certificate.

The Nigerian army had on Friday explained that it does not keep original certificates of its officers and men of the force, stressing that the officers’ file contains only photocopy of their credentials. smiley smiley smiley smiley smiley smiley smiley

The fact remains that GMB might be corrupt-free (in the sight of some people) but he has a lot of flaws that can prevent him from ruling this country. They may cover some but they will become glaring when he takes over and starts ruling. His style of ruling and fighting corruption is purely partial. Refer to Wole Soyinka's article about GMB. Some of his bad deeds were concealed successfully because he is a pure dictator. GEJ might not be the best but at least in his regime, there is absolute freedom of information and expression. And that is why his opponents have access to so much details about government at the center. And are able to openly criticize him. And that is very good for our democracy. This is the true democracy the Nigeria needs. I am not campaigning for anybody but mark my word, Nigerian's will soon regret their choice if GMB wins.
PoliticsRe: Human Rights Group Drags Buhari To ICC Over Alleged Crimes by Nely77(m): 3:48pm On Dec 16, 2014
Buhari is certainly a devil and his actions and inactions since his desperation for power in 1999 suggests that he has no more to offer this country than war. He had always incited killings of his non supporters since 2011. He had always devised various means to fight and pull down the government including reckless comments during and after elections that have led to serial blood sheds. I still remember the the very comment credited to him that "He will make the country ungovernable if he loses election" before boko haram started striking. To me this suggests that he knows something about the sponsorship of boko haram. He has to be investigated and tried before February 2014.

HealthOwerri, IMO State Records New Ebola Case! by Nely77(op): 7:01pm On Aug 31, 2014
A close relative o mine has confirmed a case of an Ebola death in Owerri, the IMO state capital. A man said to have come back from to Owerri from Lagos ill and was being treated until he showed the distinctive symptom of the dreaded disease an died. He was said to have started bleeding from his nose, ears, anus, ... And later died before the people around him could conclusively know that he had the disease. It was said that immediately they got to know, they locked his corpse up in the house and ran away.
Someone in Owerri should try and confirm this. I have already told my relative in Owerri to call the ebola emergency number so that them ministry of health can come in fully in this case as those that made primary contact with him who ran away have to be contacted immediately and possibly be quarantined. Also, they have to get the people who were involved in his treatment and keep them under surveillance. This might be more serious that the Lagos case. The ministry of health has to act fast.

Has she been paid by a competitor to do this or does she have her own product competing with this company's. Please do not get me wrong because that's how I reason(without sentiments).
What I am saying is that she should not have cut all the drink open after cutting up to half and noticed the same thing. She should have taken the remaining half to the authority(NAFDAC) for test as evidence.
But as it is now, since she did not do it, she cannot openly confront the company without being sued. I think many people may not believe her now.

deols: You miss the 'all' part.

Pig is not to be eaten. It does not mean that you can not benefit from pig at all. If for example, its skin is used for leather, wearing its products like belt or wrist watch would be ok.

In that case, pig is good for a reason but not all good.

When you say that fire is all good. Then being burnt by fire must be so good cheesy
I am a Christian but I am really enjoying the discussion. Please I would like to add here that the quoted statement is wrong. Even the best food you eat is good but could turn to be very bad if you abuse it. So I strongly believe that everything God created is good so long as you put it to good use. I have not said that you should leave your belief but I am commenting on the issue of fire being good or bad.
Thank you.
