Ok Sir, but remember that it was same media war that brought you and your co-travelers to power. Karma is a bitch
PoliticsRe: Umahi: Infrastructure Revolutionist Master by neoclassical: 1:45pm On Jun 01, 2017
In terms of infrastructural development, I give to Umahi. The man is painstakingly using his experience as an Engineer to transform the State infrastructurally. However, as an indigene of the State, I suggest my amiable Governor should not ignore the area of human capital development, (through education and job creation) which is the key to economic transformation. Pursuing a Lopsided or unbalanced growth model as it is witnessed in Ebonyi State is good as there will be a spiral effect on other sectors of the economy in the long-run, but investment in human capital is very important in a young State like Ebonyi.
PoliticsRe: DSS Hands Over 82 Freed Chibok Girls To Women Affairs For Rehabilitation by neoclassical: 1:45pm On May 30, 2017
All Female NYSC Members who are currently serving in Borno State should be careful before FG will release them to DSS as Chibok Girls. The way these people are releasing female children these days is so alarming. I hope the number released so far is not more than the number purportedly kidnapped. Politics everywhere

PoliticsRe: DSS Now Fg’s Terror Gang – Fayose by neoclassical: 1:45pm On May 26, 2017
Truth be told, the high level of rascality, impunity and abuse of human rights being perpetrated by DSS should be condemned. This is a democratic setting and not a totalitarian State. Buhari's military / tyrannical tendencies in the 80s should not be transported to our nascent democracy. DSS has over the years been used as a tyrannical dog to perpetrate mayhem on perceived enemies of the power that be. This is paramilitary rascality

PoliticsRe: Senate Signs Petroleum Industry Governance Bill After 16 Years by neoclassical: 4:06pm On May 25, 2017
If this is the original version of the PIB then it is a welcome development. But the word "Governance" is what makes it look somehow. If the original PIB is passed, then the oil industry will be sanitized and more investments will be attracted to the sector. Be reminded that the main of the bill is to increase private sector investment, transparency and ultimately increase revenue from the oil and gas industry to the government.
PoliticsRe: Bala Mohammed Granted N500m Bail by neoclassical: 1:47pm On May 12, 2017

PoliticsRe: House Of Representatives Passes 2017 Budget Of N7.44 Trillion by neoclassical: 2:29pm On May 11, 2017
How far has the 2016 budget been implemented?
Was the budget deficit, balanced or surplus after its implementation (if any)?

Naija my country, no budget appraisal. All we hear is that the budget has been passed but no one cares about its implementation.

Funny country with funny leaders and gullible citizens. Once your opinion contravenes that of the government or the Northern Oligarchy, EFCC comes after you. Little wonder this country is in shambles.
PoliticsRe: Nnamdi Kanu Disobeys Court Order,Appears In The Presence Of More Than 10 People by neoclassical: 1:24pm On Apr 29, 2017
Nonsense, what happened to Freedom of Association? So he won't participate in family meeting anymore, he won't go to church or crusade. Infact he wont even stand in Idumota Market. The Judge should have told him to ensure Buhari appears in public everyday as one of the bail conditions. Confused people

Jobs/VacanciesRe: Certification Vs Masters: Which Is Hotter In Nigerian Labour Market? by neoclassical: 10:56am On Apr 24, 2017
okusebi:
some people here are just making a baseless conclusion, how can you compare certification to a masters degree. certification is just an icing to the cake, masters degree is the real deal. do not be deceived because of the hardship you find yourself. if you have an opportunity to have a masters degree, it is best. because someone with masters degree will sit in the office and head you with your certification while you work your ass in the field. certification expires and it is just an icing to the cake.
God bless you.

It is obvious there is nothing like Batch B. The so-called Batch B was used to douse tension. If there was something like Batch B, all the batches would have been published and separated as Batch A and Batch B just for ease of interview. That is how it is done in every Federal govt recruitment especially in the Military. Miracle still takes place though

I don't understand something here are you saying a third class shouldn't have a chance at all in Nigerian? or third class should totally condemned out of any recruitment in Nigeria? pls elucidate more...
3rd or 2.1 apart, so in your thinking a 3rd Class holder should be selected ahead of a Masters degree holder ?

YES WE DID, AND YES YOU DID.

YOUR STATE HAS LOCAL GOVT AND THESE LOCAL GOVT ARE UNDER EITHER THE NORTH, SOUTH, CENTRAL.. SENATORIAL DISTRICTS. FOR INSTANCE IF YOUR LOCAL GOVERNMENT IS OKPE IN DELTA STATE, AUTOMATICALLY U WOULD FALL UNDER THE CENTRAL SENATORIAL DISTRICT.

NO PASHA ANY WHERE CHUM.
Your point is not valid dear. I am not disputing the fact that Local Governments make a Senatorial District. Perhaps, wouldn't it have been easier to shortlist the names using LGA of origin instead of Senatorial Zones. My dear, the National Assembly men did what they know best in this list. that is a fact. Thank you.
Jobs/VacanciesFCSC: A Country Where 3rd Class Is Considered Above Msc + Bsc (2.1) by neoclassical(op):
I woke up this morning with the news that FCSC has shortlisted lists of successful candidates in the ongoing recruitment exercise by the Commission in various Federal Ministries.

Succinctly, I have a friend who studied Business Administration with 3rd Class, while I have Msc and Bsc (2.1) all in Economics. Both of us applied for the same position (SGL 09) in the Ministry of Trade & Investment. Perhaps, to my greatest perplexity, this guy's name was shortlisted while mine was conspicuously missing. Just a few minutes ago he opened up to me that the father made "some calls" on his behalf prior to this time.

For your information, we are of the same age bracket, applied for same position, from the same State. So what criteria could have been used to disqualify someone with Msc and Bsc (2.1) and someone with a 3rd Class was selected.

Holding other factors constant, I am so happy for him and I am so expectant that mine is coming. But this has kept me in an awe position, as the whole scenario depicts lack of correlation between merit and success in this entity called Nigeria.

WHAT A COUNTRY? So help us God!

Kogi People should seek the face of God or better still turn from their evil ways. Another important figure from Kogi State died in a fatal accident two days ago while returning from OBJ's birthday celebration.
