Chief (Arch) Michael Ama Nnachi emerged winner of Ebonyi South PDP Senatorial primaries held on the 2nd October, 2018. He is very intelligent, vibrant, vocal and friendly. Chief Micky (as he fondly called) is a philanthropist with sound academic background. He will surely make great impacts in the 9th Senate.

This is just the beginning. Another Northerner, Mrs. Zainab, a current Minister of State has been nominated to replace Kemi Adeosun as Minister of Finance.

The way and manner FG that claims to be waging war against corruption is handling this issue shows that Buhari and his cohorts are just deceiving themselves in this country. The level of corruption in this administration is second to none. There is massive looting going on in almost all the ministries and Agencies of government. There is high level of impunity within the government circle. This is the worst government in the history of Nigeria.

You claim to understand the short, medium and long term economic benefits of the proposed project but you failed to factor in the macroeconomic trade-off. Maybe you should go back and study the economic underpinings of social overhead capital. No need to engage in any debate with you. I am from Ebonyi State, so I am handy with the structure of the State's economy. I have done researches in economics up to PhD level in my early 30s. So saying I am ignorant of the discourse is absurd.

This is a misplaced priority. Ebonyi State needs human capital development more than the infrastructural development the Governor is aggressively pursuing. There is high level poverty and hunger in Ebonyi State. Civil Servants in Ebonyi State are earning peanuts. Since the inception of Umahi's administration, no formal recruitment exercise has been conducted in the State, yet graduates of Ebonyi State origin are turning out every year from higher institutions of learning. Let industries be set up in the real sector of the economy to create jobs and increase per capita income. In this, the vicious circle of poverty, which is prevalent in the state will be severed. Politics is the only viable business in Ebonyi State, hence, it is deadly as that is the only means of survival.

Human Capital Development is key to socio-economic development of a young State like Ebonyi. Let the standard of living of Ebonyians be improved instead of building elephant projects that have no direct impact on the common man in the state. Tell me how a hungry man will think of going to an airport for a flight when he/she cannot afford t-fair for a public bus. Umahi should look inwards and pursue economic policies that can trickle down to ordinary man in the street.

He's referring to the same recruitment of which appointment letters are being issued. As per holding on till budget is approved I don't understand the idea behind that. Keep pressing him to help you because if budget was a prerequisite before you are called then I don't think they would have started issuing out letters to begin with. I wish you good luck

In 2015, through the instrumentality of PDP federal might, 3 Igbos were elected on the PDP platform into the House of Reps. Jude Idimogun Emeka was elected into the House of Assembly this same 2015.

Since this nonsense happened, Igbos have been making noise everywhere as to how they would produce the next Governor of Lagos and Lagos is no man's land.

In 2019, we're collecting all our seats from the ones in the House of Reps and Assembly. I don't know how MC Oluomo slept off in Oshodi that one wawa Jew came to win elections there.

If PDP tries to put ANY potopoto candidate in Lagos, they won't be able to campaign not to talk of come out to vote. They should go and ask people of what happened to onwa and that useless Acp Dan Okoro that was supporting Igbos to assault a Yoruba LG Chairman in Amuwo Odofin LG secretariat.

(1) The monies in the foreign reserve include the ones from depts(BONDS AND TREASURY BILLS) that are foreign currency denominated.

(2) The foreign currency remittances from Nigerians abroad.

(3)The difference between the oil benchmark and the oil price.

If the country is that 'rich' why not fund the budget from the Foreign Reserve?
