Politics › Re: Buhari: Ekweremadu As Saraki’s Deputy Unacceptable by nerodenero: 7:44am On Jun 28, 2015
House divided against itself will not stand.

I think in all, I will blame PMB and this statement, 'I belong to everybody and nobody' will be put to test soon. I blame him because he called for a meeting at the ICC and yet he didn't attend the meeting. Who does that? The meeting he called for led to Saraki being elected Senate President and Ekweremadu snickking in through the back door. Besides, how will PMB feign ignorance of the fact that some of his members are too over-ambitious?

PMB feels he is the National Leader of APC and yet doesn't want to interfere in the NASS problem. If truly he is the leader and he shares the same position with the APC leaders on the names recommended by the party, then it's just right and proper for PMB to compel Judas Saraki and Dogara to show honour which they lack towards obeying the position of the party.

Since 1999, OBJ held PDP together, Umar Yar'adua did same and it was under Jonathan that PDP crumbled like a pack of card due to poor handling of challenges, PMB should not allow same to happen under his administration. Any loss by APC is PDP's gain.

Though PMB is a leader and not a polithiefcian, but it is the combination of the two that is needed to survive the political landscape. PMB, the time to act is now.

See why it's good to go to private
So private university students don't board public transport?

A little patience, reduced speed and not driving against traffic would have prevented this accident. I won't be surprised if the truck driver survives it. They always do.

RIP.

It wasn't Obama that did the ruling. It was the supreme court of the United States, the final gurantor and arbiter of the United States Constitution.
The same supreme court and Constitution that has been guaranteeing and upholding equal rights, dignity and equal justice to blacks over the last 200 yrs or so.

Unfortunately, we in Africa are still too primitive, animistic and unappreciative of our own collective history to understand what "a right" is

Fani-Kayode, on the other hand, a Western educated elite, he himself a tribal chauvinist, represents the tragedy of the African elite class.
Call me underdeveloped and primitive, I don't care but on this, I don't want to have any RIGHTS whatsoever over the subject of discuss for as long as that madness isn't brought to Nigeria. Thanks

60+50=110 years wasted over a chicken that might not be more 3months old.

Blame it on poverty. Why would an adult jump into a well because of a chicken? If it were a Human being, it is understandable but chicken undecided undecided.

Anyway RIP.

Yeah.. He's one of those e-warriors. I bet you wouldn't even notice the likes of them in reality.
This faceless forum has given alot of people, me too, the opportunity to air our opinion. That alone isn't a liberty to talk anyhow. I have always tried to be modest and I try chose my words carefully because you don't know who is reading. Anyway, the dude is a small boy and he would learn with time.

FFK also needs the change toogrin.

Hope the July meeting of Obama and PMB and the supposed help from G7 won't be tie to legalising this madness in Nigeria. These Western countries will always help at a price. To them, it's all about give and take.

I remember they made Jonathan their enemy over this issue, PMB, be warned, we still uphold our moral values.

Sports › Re: Return The Super Eagles To Lagos, Says Sunday Oliseh by nerodenero: 2:21pm On Jun 27, 2015
I support Oliseh's submission and I hope they listen. The Super Eagles need to see crazy fans display their madness to put pressure on them in order to deliver. I remember those days when fans get angry, pour urine in a pure water sachet and throw it at you. Eagles need to face these over daring fans for them to deliver and deliver well.

Again, for Eagles to return to Lagos, alot of repairs need to be done. National Stadium Lagos has been neglected for so long and it's a shame on our government allowed this to happen. Our bad maintenance culture is legendary and we need to change for our own sake.
Politics › Re: Opinion: Should APC Sanction Saraki And Dagora? by nerodenero: 12:28pm On Jun 27, 2015
Immunity covers him. I don't know if they have the power to dismiss them and if they have and they do, that means PDP will now control indirectly both red and green Chambers and I don't think APC would do that. If APC doesn't dismiss them, won't they defect? In fact, PDP controls the two Chambers directly. It is hard to believe but APC's end looks near.
Nazeeboy:
They shouldn't worry about Saraki for now. When Baba starts his anti-corruption drive. I'm sure Saraki has a lot to answer for and he won't come out free.

Politics › Re: Awolowo Remains Nigeria's Best Politician - Pete Edochie by nerodenero: 11:46am On Jun 27, 2015
The best politician this country has ever produced is Obafemi Awolowo. He may have been parochial but I love Awolowo for one thing. He would tell you I’m going to build this house, and this is what it will cost me to carry out the project. This is how I am going to raise the fund, and he went ahead and achieved it. No other politician has been able to beat the record in Nigeria.
Well said, no more, no less.

Politics › Re: Saraki Vs Tinubu Comparism: Why Overrate Bukola Saraki? by nerodenero:
Nice piece, interesting read, devoid of sentiments and bias. I have always agreed with the OP on football issues since he's a Barcelona fan and on this, I agree completely too.

From his submission, betrayal seems to thrive well in Saraki family going by the fast one being played by Gbemi and Bukola on Kwara people.

One thing synonymous with both of them is godfatherism. While Tinubu has spread his tentacles majorly in Southwest, Bukola only controls his Fulani/Yoruba state.

I think Bukola is still a learner compared to Tinubu but I frown at what both of them stand for. We want a nation governed by people that would serve selflessly to reposition our country not individuals that are power-drunk, willing to stuff their houses, banks, private saves with our collective treasure.

For me, none of them is worth celebrating.

When are we going to have a normal society obtainable around the world where things are done normally? The primary responsibility of a working government is the welfare of the citizens.

Similar case was reported at Oworonsoki area where the dead man was left to decay despite the community notifying the Police, the Police came, viewed and left.

The government should do more in rapid response to situation like this. Besides, there's is a Rapid Response Team stationed at Under Bridge, Ikeja, can they move in pending when the relevant agency comes?
