You are exaggerating the whole thing, how many states have you been to in Nigeria? Unemployment is everywhere not only in Nigeria but all over the world, though our situation in Nigeria is so bad. This is the first government that has attracted industries to the state but I want you to know that unemployment problems can't be solved overnight but gradually with time.
So it will take time, even here in Lagos not everyone has found suitable jobs o, most people are doing menial jobs to survive o.
EdiskyHarry: I served in Abuja during my nysc, I rushed back to akwa ibom after my completion because of what I have been reading here. Only to discover that Akwa ibom is the worst place on the planet Earth in terms of job opportunities, standard of living and hardship. The rate of unemployment in my state is on the highest level. The youths now have no other option than to migrate in great numbers to other states for survival. So sad.
I just like the way Akwa Ibom state leaders are building their infrastructures not cluelessly but always building with the future at the back of their minds.
Akwaibomdaily: First ever Ten Lane Road in #AkwaIbom State, Idongesit Nkanga Avenue is nearly ready for commissioning. One of the reasons Governor Udom Emmanuel is the best in #Nigeria
Udom has attracted several industries to the state, you can go and verify instead of rushing to comment on what you have no idea about. Lagos state government alone wouldn't have made the Lekki Deep Seaport a reality without the concerted efforts of the Federal Government meanwhile, the Federal Government has not given the same support to the Ibom Deep Seaport, else Ibom Deep Seaport would have been on the same level of Lekki Deep Seaport, due to their politics of bias and marginalization.
Hope you know that no State can single-handedly build a seaport in Nigeria, without the FG inputs.
manutdrichie: Mtcheew, Udom campaign was based on industries, infact his major selling point was the construction of Ibom deep seaport.
7yrs later Lagos has completed Lekki seaport, foundation laid for Badagry port but udom is busy commissioning water fountains.
indeed, Akwa Ibom is rising! May God continue to bless Akwa Ibom state with selfless, purposeful, hardworking, visionary, and leaders who love AKS.
Akwaibomdaily: ...as MIMSHAC Automobile Plant will Boost the Economy of the State
The Akwa Ibom State Government is saturating the ground for the inauguration of many projects in the next few months, especially as the 35th Anniversary of the State's creation is around the corner.
To this end, Project Establishment Firms have been enjoined to redouble efforts in order to deliver their projects on schedule.
The Honourable Commissioner for Economic Development, Mr. Emem Bob during an interactive meeting on Thursday, 18th August, 2022 in his office with MIMSHAC Digital Limited, the firm handling the assembling of the automobile plant, assured that the State Government is interested in every viable project cited in the State.
While commending Governor Udom Emmanuel for putting in place programmes and policies to improve the living standard of the Akwa Ibom people, Mr. Bob reiterated the commitment of the present administration to ensure the sustenance of the economic sector of the state, for the benefit of the people.
The Economic Boss maintained that this initiative is as a result of Governor Udom Emmanuel's Industrialization strides, through various ways to create sustainability in the economic sector of the State.
Mr. Bob appreciated the delegation from MIMSHAC Digital Limited, stating that liaising with the supervisory ministry would iron out grey areas for the timely completion of the project.
The Commissioner opined that siting of various projects would place Akwa Ibom in the comity of States with economically viable projects, and increase the economic well-being of citizens. He further commended Governor Udom Emmanuel for his developmental strides.
The Economic helmsman who later led a delegation to the Assembly Plant located at Ikot Ukap in Itu Local Government Area urged the Management to live up to the expectation of the government in order to achieve the desired result of the project.
He expressed optimism that with the level of work done at the site and the assurance of the Managing Director, Mr. Valentino Okorie, the Akwa Ibom Automobile Plant will commence operations within the life span of the present administration.
The Commissioner for Special Duties and Ibom Deep Seaport, Engr. Dr. Bassey Okon who was in the team, expressed delight at the project, describing it as innovative.
The Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, MIMSHAC Digital Limited, Mr. Okorie described Akwa Ibom as viable for such a project and called for regularization of the Memorandum of Understanding.
Mr. Okorie pointed out that the Assembly Plant when operational would create more employment opportunities and boost the revenue profile of the state. He hailed the State Government for partnership.
The Assembly Plant has the capacity of assembling 108 cars and SUVs, 30 luxurious buses and conventional vehicles in a month.
indeed! Akwa Ibom is Rising! May God Almighty continue to bless AKS with good, selfless, visionary, and hardworking leaders. Cheers! to Akwa Ibom at 35

Man is the enemy of himself. Let those Igbos who have been accusing other tribes of hating, come and see that the hatred is internal. But the fact is that "when a man says that his own house is not good and fit for living in it, then the neighbors will the house on fire." that is what our people say.
Flimsy excuses as usual ... But they did not suspend work on rails in the terrorists' ravage North. Whom are they deceiving Even with the narrow gauge railway line, even when they are doing standard gauge somewhere in the same country.
Politics and Activism are two opposite and opposing things And therefore can never be merged together. If you want to be a Politician, you go ahead, or if you want to be an Activist, you do so.
Sowore is an expert in name-calling on this, his so-called rotten system, and he forgot that we Nigerians are aware that he was part of those who brought this failed administration to power in 2015, yet his hypocrisy never allows him to accept this barefaced fact.
What is his antecedent so that we can evaluate his performance
Character assassination and blackmail will never help this man in anyway cos Obi is many light years ahead of him.
The sad thing is that none of these projects is located nor passes through the state that produces the highest barrels and tons of gases in this country, I'm talking about Akwa Ibom State.
The marginalization is alarming
Every single infrastructure in Akwa Ibom State is built by the state government after some uninformed haters will come to the Akwa Ibom thread and spew trash.
Federal Government has completely marginalized the state that produces over 35% of Nigeria's foreign exchange earner, but that state still keeps cool and concentrates on developing itself.
imagine the federal government promoting and prioritizing Leeki Deep Seaport and not doing so to the Ibom Deep Seaport too even when Lagos has two already existing seaports. Their bias is very obvious.
kporakpo: The attention to public infrastructure has been on the rise in the last 10years
Nigeria has pumped no less than $42 billion to address it infrastructural challenges. This is the highest amount spent on projects embarked upon in just about a decade and since the country’s existence.
Approximately half of the bulk of financing came from the government through initiative such as loans, tax credit schemes, bonds etc. and the other half from private investments.
These spending are also been split into different sectors with refinery, rail and roads taking the lead in the amount of money consumed so far. The goal of the video below is to critically analyze every major piece of infrastructure embarked upon between 2012 and 2022 and comprehensively distinguishing between them their cost of constructions and current status.
She got what she wanted How on earth would she see a man with such body weight compared to hers, and she still has the guts to confront and slap him first
if the President didn't do what Orthom said, why didn't the President swing into action to deal decisively with these wild beasts? But instead, the president was always looking for lands all over the country to dash the so-called herdsmen in the name of RUGA.
Gov. Orthom is a very brave and courageous Tiv man. I admired his bravery towards these evil terrorists in the name of herdsmen. Garbage Shehu can continue to lie for himself cos Nigerians knows the truth in what Orthom said.
Some guys were remanded in Kirikiri Maximum Security Prison in Lagos today, while Boko Haram Terrorists and Bandits were remanded in a Medium Security Prison in Abuja. Now, the question is; Fighting a policeman and committing terrorism, which one is more of a major offense than the other This country nawa o
