AlphaWolf27: yet their so called Supreme leader had to buy a smuggled Mercedes Benz. His own citizens get killed for wanting to go to South Korea or watch South Korea movies. It's none existence in world politics. Just like how thousands risked their lives to escape East Berlin for the west, how many South Korean are eager to move North? oh! because you come with the usual China and Russia ally scrap, both countries are signatories to the ban and sanctions on the same North Korea but as it is with those two, you can't expect them to ever do a good job 3 Likes |

The funny thing about this is that on a smaller scale, this is how the same set of people were rigorously insinuating that Huawei will be able to mitigate the sanctions it was placed under because China has over 1 billion people, Huawei will look inside and create it's own OS that Chinese people will buy. China is already on the verge of being world power so everybody will buy Huawei to be in China good grace. Yet today with the same hypothetical 1 billion market in China, Huawei can't even make Top 4. The very same people aren't buying the Huawei they claimed they will buy instead jumped ship to another brand 6 Likes |

Binhamid: First you just showed you have you clause about what NATO is really about. Second, you didn't answer my question. The question was how can small European countries raise and fund a sufficient army to protect it's sovereignty? NATO since you don't look like one that likes to do research was formed with 2 main objectives, stop the spread of Soviet communism into western Europe as Europe was recovering from WW2 and they feared another war since the Soviet Union was annexing previous German conquered territories instead of liberating them. Second objective was protection of western Europe, the major powers in Europe back then were drained from the war and German per terms of surrender wasn't allowed to have a standing army, that's one of the reasons America and Canada were made to be allies in NATO to deter the Soviets from attacking western Europe. With the fall of the SU, the first objective became redundant, if you care to read which I assume you don't, disbandment of NATO was proposed as at that time but the cost of individual state raising and funding it's own army and also the fear of one state attacking another all over again quash that idea. Instead the Presidential Pardon Program was put in place to form alliance in terms of economic growth and development with former Soviet states. The first 3 former Soviets state to join NATO was vehemently opposed by the US. The Poland leader as at that time in a meeting in Praque told Clinton that no matter how he opposed it, they will eventually join NATO and that's how the US stand changed drastically to not object to former Soviet joining. Most importantly, the US don't grant membership, they don't give out membership to NATO. countries that want to join make a formal request to the organisation, if you pass the preliminary requirements , the member state of NATO votes to either accept or reject. It's so frustrating that something so simple is what you guys don't understand. Russia asking to join NATO is them looking for trouble nothing else. Will Russia ditch her military equipments to start integrating NATO standards and other weapons? The answer is very likely NO. so what do they want with an alliance that doesn't want anything from them? I asked you what NATO is fighting Russia for, you haven't answered but you claimed the alliance is anti Russian. is present day Russia communist state? No, so what are you even saying. All I can leave you with is educate yourself more so you don't be typing baseless agenda on a public forum 2 Likes |

Binhamid: So China has joined now. it's not only Russia again. wait, let's leave media speculation and all that, to you what is Russia fighting with NATO for? Soviet Union is gone, communism is gone in Europe, so how is NATO anti-Russian? Second question, if NATO whose new objective is the security of Europe and defending human rights is disbanded right now, how rich and populated is the likes of Estonia, Latvia, Czech and other non-super power European countries to raise an Army to protect their sovereignty? 3 Likes 1 Share |

Oyiboman69: Nigeria doesn't believe that when England is engaged in a battle, we support them. You're not Nigeria. Since 1960, do you know how many Battles England has engaged in, how many did Nigeria join? You talk about what you don't know instead of educating yourself, you double down on your ignorance. If you don't, research, read and understand. The other guy was busy informing of nuclear fall out and you ignored it just to continue what you just typed up there. Depending the megaton, a nuclear bomb dropped in Italy with a strong wind will carry that radiation to North Africa, North Africa don't need to do anything just stay in their country and go about their business but they will still be affected. Just like we feel harmattan all the way from Sahara dessert, that radiation will blow all the way to Nigeria. we don't need to support anybody to feel the effect. so my advice to you is educate yourself first, then try to listen. that people correct you online isn't a crime. it won't diminish your self value except you have low self esteem. it's a faceless forum jeez! How's that for education |

darediamond: how is the official language Russian? una dey sabi type rubbish eh. I'm certain you haven't watch any documentary out of the numerous out there of the space station. Talking of launch platform, after the Apollo mission, NASA funds were reduced making it difficult economically to build a new launch platform from scratch. Russian space program, the highest they do is send probe to Mars atmosphere and then humans to the space station. Compare that to NASA that has send like 6 missions to Mars, Voyage 1 is the first man made object outside our galaxy and it's still sending back signals. The closest man made object to the sun is still operate by NASA. Venus, Jupiter, Neptune. And so many other space program. It's just logical to use Russian platform to go to the space station. It's similar to how the iPhone display is built by Samsung. The cost of building a whole new factory, employing people, figuring out the supply and manufacturing chain and that doesn't even include R& far outweighs any iPhone vs Samsung BS in terms of business economy. It's just logical to go buy off the shelves. |

Oyiboman69: your own case is even worse than first imagined. Your 'political affiliation' was about nuclear bomb not crossing the Mediterranean. PotatoSalad: Read and understand. Why do you think no other country has attempted it ever since. The Artemis is different from the Apollo because it is meant to have a landing station in space instead of a direct flight to the moon which was overtly expensive and dangerous. All these are public knowledge but you guys will refuse to read but are quick to laugh ignorantly |
