Do you think Russia gives a rat-ass about sanctions. Watch and see. It didn't work for Pyongyang if you remember.......

yet their so called Supreme leader had to buy a smuggled Mercedes Benz. His own citizens get killed for wanting to go to South Korea or watch South Korea movies. It's none existence in world politics. Just like how thousands risked their lives to escape East Berlin for the west, how many South Korean are eager to move North?

oh! because you come with the usual China and Russia ally scrap, both countries are signatories to the ban and sanctions on the same North Korea but as it is with those two, you can't expect them to ever do a good job

The funny thing about this is that on a smaller scale, this is how the same set of people were rigorously insinuating that Huawei will be able to mitigate the sanctions it was placed under because China has over 1 billion people, Huawei will look inside and create it's own OS that Chinese people will buy. China is already on the verge of being world power so everybody will buy Huawei to be in China good grace.

Yet today with the same hypothetical 1 billion market in China, Huawei can't even make Top 4.
The very same people aren't buying the Huawei they claimed they will buy instead jumped ship to another brand

NATO is an allied force, who exactly are they allying against. When Putin asked bill Clinton to join, why was he declined. The whole of body language of NATO is anti Russia and the fact that other countries are not scared by the increasing power of NATO is saddening because NATO countries will sabotage any group of countries trying to replicate the same thing they are doing. To answer your second question, these countries were part of USSR, US is just giving them NATO alliance to make sure they do not go back an ally to Russia but the truth is they are just benchwarmers in NATO, nothing they say will influence NATO's decision.

First you just showed you have you clause about what NATO is really about.
Second, you didn't answer my question. The question was how can small European countries raise and fund a sufficient army to protect it's sovereignty?

NATO since you don't look like one that likes to do research was formed with 2 main objectives, stop the spread of Soviet communism into western Europe as Europe was recovering from WW2 and they feared another war since the Soviet Union was annexing previous German conquered territories instead of liberating them. Second objective was protection of western Europe, the major powers in Europe back then were drained from the war and German per terms of surrender wasn't allowed to have a standing army, that's one of the reasons America and Canada were made to be allies in NATO to deter the Soviets from attacking western Europe.

With the fall of the SU, the first objective became redundant, if you care to read which I assume you don't, disbandment of NATO was proposed as at that time but the cost of individual state raising and funding it's own army and also the fear of one state attacking another all over again quash that idea. Instead the Presidential Pardon Program was put in place to form alliance in terms of economic growth and development with former Soviet states.
The first 3 former Soviets state to join NATO was vehemently opposed by the US. The Poland leader as at that time in a meeting in Praque told Clinton that no matter how he opposed it, they will eventually join NATO and that's how the US stand changed drastically to not object to former Soviet joining.

Most importantly, the US don't grant membership, they don't give out membership to NATO. countries that want to join make a formal request to the organisation, if you pass the preliminary requirements , the member state of NATO votes to either accept or reject. It's so frustrating that something so simple is what you guys don't understand.

Russia asking to join NATO is them looking for trouble nothing else. Will Russia ditch her military equipments to start integrating NATO standards and other weapons? The answer is very likely NO. so what do they want with an alliance that doesn't want anything from them?

I asked you what NATO is fighting Russia for, you haven't answered but you claimed the alliance is anti Russian. is present day Russia communist state? No, so what are you even saying.

All I can leave you with is educate yourself more so you don't be typing baseless agenda on a public forum

You are being biased on a factor of 10 as you think that the basis of World Leadership is helping parasitic blocs or deepening philanthropy.

There were world powers that enslaved and still enslave others. There were world powers who show benevolence and there will be world powers who will not give a shiiiit.

Philanthropy isnt a criteria to being world power, even when Africa was world power during the reign of Egypt, we conquered Israel and enslaved the Israelis, read your Bible book of histories. So why would you make philanthropy to Africans a criteria when Africans actually enslaved others during our own leadership?

You are myopically biased in your assertion.

then I can categorically state that your need for a multipolar whatever is out if hatred for America and I wouldn't be far from the truth.

That others did something bad doesn't mean such should be repeated in the future. See why I said Africans love to suffer and smile.

Like the say with great power come great responsibility so if they aren't ready to be responsible why should the accorded the power that comes with that??

Sanctions alone are not enough to deter Putin. European and US leaders must put a military response on the table if they really intend to stop putting. Confiscating the assets of few Russian Oligarchs won’t put any serious fear into Putin or scare him enough to withdraw his 200k troops from Donetsk and Luhansk.

they can't confront Russia over Ukraine militarily. All the can do is what they are doing now.

This war is stupid and based on US and Europe's greediness. Why can't just say NO to Ukraine from joining NATO. NATO is anti-russia and China. It will be foolish if Russia allows them to set up a base so close to their country. Russia is fighting for self preservation but the western media is painting another picture.

So China has joined now. it's not only Russia again.

wait, let's leave media speculation and all that, to you what is Russia fighting with NATO for? Soviet Union is gone, communism is gone in Europe, so how is NATO anti-Russian?
Second question, if NATO whose new objective is the security of Europe and defending human rights is disbanded right now, how rich and populated is the likes of Estonia, Latvia, Czech and other non-super power European countries to raise an Army to protect their sovereignty?

It is best for a leader to know that the world has a roadmap and there are stages of evolution of the processes leading to the completion of the agenda as designed. China and Russia leaders know the roadmap and have 100 yrs goal as to re-uniting the old bloc that United States Company had destroyed during the last wars.

Russia's goal under Putin is to restore the Soviet Union, China's Goal under Xi is to bring together all of the Taiwan, Hong Kong, Tibet, Mongolians etc under the leadership of Xi.

America and NATO wants otherwise, and it is naturally difficult to separate a people connected by DNA.

United States is a great place, and a great country, but no world power will be there forever, there was a time for Egypt, Rome, United Kingdom and now United States, and they can tarry as long as they want. There will new world power, but it will be multipolar.

Also Russia has a very large land mass , plenty of Natural resources and is very self sufficient making most of what it needs.

grin Ignorance! Why then are not the former members of the Soviet Union performing any sort of space activity today? Which among them have anything space, going? So it was Russia who went to space and crashed the first missile on the moon, in an era when rocket science was in infancy, Russia was ahead, copied nobody and was first to calculate d escape velocity required to lurch out of the earth’s gravity and adjusted for it. It’s a big deal. It’s ingenious.
The lies of the Americans were exposed wen other nations like China, India, Israel, Iran etc started sending robotic missions to the moon themselves. It is a fact that Armstrong’s flag is completely missing on the moon. American flags on the moon are 5, representing the other five robotic missions they sent there. The human mission has no single proof. Those proof you are presenting are completely comedy.
Rocket science is pretty understood now-a-days, most moon nations can build a rocket to carry a man to d moon. But why are they not doing it?
The simple truth is that btw the earth and the moon is a layer of scorching heat no human can survive. It’s ok to fly a tin can thru it, no one has figured a way to fly a human without getting such one cooked and roasted wen they fly into that zone. How did the Americans fly Armstrong thru the heat zone? grin They only have film trick pictures to show. They have no answer to dat. Armstrong on the moon is a blatant LIE

you write such a long epistle for someone who is ignorant of that aftermath of the fall of the Soviet Union.

You should look it up, it will answer a lot of your ignorant questions.

talk about heat between the earth and moon. This is so dumb I can't even begin to imagine that there's a human being with such a minute thinking faculty to reason such.

your argument is far from reality....
Let me elucidate it more so you can get it.

Most African country like Nigeria believe that when when England is engaged in a battle,we're always in it support England due to the fact that they are our colonial master, due to the negative effect of the neocolonialism and that was why I said due to political affiliation and if there is no such thing, the effect of any war or whatever weapon they used will have no effect in our soil. Africa is in a weak state that was why you're here shivering over a war far away distant shore. don't quote me again if you can't read through my words and throwing tantrums....

Nigeria doesn't believe that when England is engaged in a battle, we support them. You're not Nigeria.
Since 1960, do you know how many Battles England has engaged in, how many did Nigeria join?

You talk about what you don't know instead of educating yourself, you double down on your ignorance.
If you don't, research, read and understand. The other guy was busy informing of nuclear fall out and you ignored it just to continue what you just typed up there.
Depending the megaton, a nuclear bomb dropped in Italy with a strong wind will carry that radiation to North Africa, North Africa don't need to do anything just stay in their country and go about their business but they will still be affected.
Just like we feel harmattan all the way from Sahara dessert, that radiation will blow all the way to Nigeria. we don't need to support anybody to feel the effect.

so my advice to you is educate yourself first, then try to listen. that people correct you online isn't a crime. it won't diminish your self value except you have low self esteem. it's a faceless forum jeez!

How's that for education

If you have, go quietly read about History OF Space Exploration you via that discover What Russians are Made Of.

IT was recently that USA people partly stop depending on Russia for the development and lunching of there space exploration.

The official language in that regard still remains Russian. Hope you know what that implies?

how is the official language Russian? una dey sabi type rubbish eh. I'm certain you haven't watch any documentary out of the numerous out there of the space station.

Talking of launch platform, after the Apollo mission, NASA funds were reduced making it difficult economically to build a new launch platform from scratch. Russian space program, the highest they do is send probe to Mars atmosphere and then humans to the space station. Compare that to NASA that has send like 6 missions to Mars, Voyage 1 is the first man made object outside our galaxy and it's still sending back signals. The closest man made object to the sun is still operate by NASA. Venus, Jupiter, Neptune. And so many other space program.
It's just logical to use Russian platform to go to the space station.
It's similar to how the iPhone display is built by Samsung. The cost of building a whole new factory, employing people, figuring out the supply and manufacturing chain and that doesn't even include R&grin far outweighs any iPhone vs Samsung BS in terms of business economy. It's just logical to go buy off the shelves.

I know u would appear here Mr.Krismas with your warped analysis. No one is disputing the fact Russia first send an unnamed space rocket to the moon, so read my comments carefully

On the other hand, may I ask u Mr. Russian expert what proof do u have to say the Lunar landings were a hoax?? These are the lies the USSR brought up during the Cold War and as a Russian wannabe u swallowed hook nail and sinker.

How come the Chinese lunar aircraft caught sight of a worn out US flag on the moon after their own lunar exploration. If u must know these are proofs the US landed on the moon it just once but severally.

1) seismometers, mirrors, and even vehicles from the SEVERAL Apollo expeditions were left behind on the moon and other countries who have sent space robots can still see these things abandoned there

2) Lunar rocks, dirt, and literal pieces of the Moon were brought back and kept at the smithsonean university museum for astral geological studies. And those lunar rocks have been certified not to be of this earth by foreign and indigenous experts.

3) Lunar footprints of the astronauts are still there till date because they can’t be eroded due to the absence of an atmosphere on the moon. This is simple science I believe u should understand it. And these footprints have been covered by unmanned lunar vehicles sent to the moon recently

I’ll stop here for now. So go back and do a research and stop letting your little Russian wannabe syndrome hinder your sense of versatility.

it's not Russia that first went up to space. It's the USSR. Attributing that to Russia is just disrespectful to other Soviet states as at that time

grin U and prof malu are wrong. WW2 was fought in Europe Asia America Africa. Its was cross continental war. So it is world war. The bomb above is 50megaton. Packed in a container not longer than 30ft by 7ft. Wen detonated it was extremely destructive for more than 30miles radius, deadly at more than 60 miles radius and harmful at 100 mile radius. Do u know wot this means? A little container can cause so much damage! These people have amassed millions of such containers! To start at one point and go round the earth coming to the same spot is some 24,901mile distance. So about 5,000 of that container will burn up the WHOLE earth. And Russia alone has 62,550 Nuclear warheads. Simply put about 13,000 megaton blast will burn up the earth and Russia currently possesses the nuclear capability of about 94,000 megaton

na so from 6,000 plus, your own dn reach 62,000. Tomorrow now you will argue tooth and nail that it's 62,000
