omenkaLives: They didn't say Russia don't have their own satellite. They didn't say Russia can't know coordinates. They just said Google disabled the traffic feature over Ukraine, meaning nobody can't access traffic info over Ukraine. You now interpreted the news in your own limited understanding and laugh at your sheer ignorance. the way you guys just transit into anti-west mode when something isn't pro-Russia is amazing; defying logic and common reason 1 Like 1 Share |

AroleOduduwa2: Read and understand first. If you don't, read it again this time slowly. It wasn't about direction which compass can give you but the information about where you are going. Are there people there ready to ambush? How large is the build up and so forth. Compass can't get you such info |

Foreign Affairs / Re: White House Responds To Russia's Decision To Put Deterrence Forces On High Alert by neuf(m): 6:21pm On Feb 28, 2022 |
EKONGKING: totally unrelated... This has and will always be how the US respond to threats. Bombing of Japan was not necessary. Trying to take over Vietnam was not necessary. Trying to take over Korea was not necessary. Annihilating Iraq and the rest wasn't necessary. Sanctioning Cuba, Venezuela et al to that extent wasn't necessary. It's more of a statement than the actual action. If China invades Taiwan regardless of whether this war happened. Maximum efforts would have been used whether military or economic. That's just how the US rolls |

baralatie: I'm very sure I've told you this before, this isn't the first time Ukraine has requested to join. They did ask with Georgia and were rejected by NATO. Why was they rejected? How come the government then wasn't accused of being installed by the West? you really don't have any idea about Ukraine and Russia crisis do you? those guys haven't been friends for a long time. It depends on the government of the day for the problem to rear its head. Zelensky filing for NATO membership has nothing to do with anyone just Putin and his friends being paranoid over nothing and you guys buy that hook line and sinker. would an enemy that seek to destroy you be your biggest trading partner? there are so many questions you can ask yourself independently and come up with a better view of the whole situation |
Foreign Affairs / Re: Western Coverage Of Ukraine War Criticised by neuf(m): 9:57pm On Feb 27, 2022 |
smallsmall: I ask you to reason critically and you're talking about supporting. Did I in anyway say you supoort Russia. You fact sheet is twisted, Turkey were meant to have the F-35 before the went ahead to purchase the S-400 which led to their disqualification. Why wasn't the Patriot system sold to them, during the assassin attempt brouhaha, Erdoğan and the Turkish military was accused of human rights violation which was the reason but look at how you're twisting the facts. US has ICBM in Germany and Turkey. that's the only ballistic missiles in mainland Europe, the others are on subs. There's no such weapons in Poland, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania. I don't know where you get your info from. The only weapon system in Poland is the Aegis Ashore system which is a defensive system meant to shot down missiles. wait, are you sure you have read anything. No come dey stress me It's really funny how you guys think military bases equate missiles? That's a very elementary error for someone that claim to have read wide. The US has no bases in Eastern Europe. Most bases there are NATO bases meaning it's not under US command. Talking about delivering ballistic missiles, which one is better, a ground base one that even the blind will know it's location or a sub based that can sneak up on you. Why would the US abandon it's philosophy of SLBM just because of Ukraine. A B-21 raider can fly deep into Russian territory to delivery nukes from anywhere in Europe even from Japan sef without refueling mid Air and you're talking about the closest country to Russia is Ukraine that's why the US need it to place nukes. Your reason is so elementary and show you don't have any clue of what you're talking about so At this point, you need to take your own advice and read wide |

Foreign Affairs / Re: Western Coverage Of Ukraine War Criticised by neuf(m): 9:30pm On Feb 27, 2022 |
maasoap: military base houses soldiers and command post not missiles. The US ohio class sub are one of the the best if not the best in business. Most of US missiles are SLBM meaning the launch from subs so why the f*ck would the care for Ukraine just to house missiles they don't even find important enough. If you know anything about ballistic engagement, the first waves is always on missiles silos to render them useless which is why the US converted most of their ICBM to SLBM |

smallsmall: again you clearly missed the whole point as it is usual with you guys. Poland, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania are all closer to Russia than Turkey yet there's no missile there. So why should they leave those ones and only be looking for Ukraine. You that have read wide. Reason! Think critical. An AWC don't need to fly over a country to get info about enemy positions and equipments. Russia can easily get that by staying in Russia. Yet you believe the US that ban Turkey, its ally from the F-35 program will now willingly move it's equipments into Ukraine all because they want to place missiles in Ukraine for a war that may not happen ever. Missiles that can be delivered effectively from a sub in the black sea or the Baltic sea or the Pacific. Reason guy, you are falling for Russian paranoia here 1 Like |

Lankyscot: so killing and displaying innocent people is okay now base on an imaginary scenario. you do realise if the US don't need Ukraine for whatever reason right. Placement of weapons, they have that in Turkey already. NATO base? having a base that close to your 'enemy' that can stay on his side and analysis your equipments and weapons is double jeopardy. How do you guys even come up with this analysis? 1 Like |

chronique: how is Russia a world power? Do you think US is called world power base on sentiment? Do your research, Russia don't have a blue navy and as such can't project their power globally. How is a country that can't project its power globally a world power?? USSR were able to do that, project power, Russia can't whether you like it or not, it's a fact not sentiment. Even China as of right now can't be called World power, that's one of the reason they are rapidly developing militarily and trying to expand their influences through their belt and road or something initiative. That's the only way you can be world power |

chronique: that's definitely what it implies. You can't decide how NATO runs its affairs. How would its members perceive such action? If NATO agrees to such outrageous demand, the whole world will be talking about how NATO is a paper tiger and Putin is the man. Undermining NATO interest all over the world. Russia isn't a world power, it's a regional power in Eurasia. The USSR was world power, Russia isn't. Finland neutrality that the same Putin has now put in jeopardy that the country is considering requesting for NATO membership. Global politics is diplomacy not show or threat of force . Instead of demanding NATO to stop Ukraine, why not lobby say Germany and some other countries that were friendly to Russia like Hungary and the rest to veto Ukraine request. Isn't that the best solution in all this? |
