babazak: There's serious hunger in the land as an Hiace bus loaded with bags of rice making temporary stop over at iwo road, ibadan mistaken for palliative bus and seriously looted.
Xscape1993: Nigeria my country. Must we attach tribal sentiment to everything? Instead of initiating good policies and programs that will transform the lives of the local people, they are going after less important issues.
Divide and Loot politics
APC hides behind tribalism to steal the future of their stupid followers and slaves - you can see how the fools are giving kudos to their own oppressors all because of tribal sentiment
Dude obviously tried to steal his own share from the treasury...whether or not he also wanted to overthrow his boss is a matter that can only be truthfully trashed out between the two of them, because we don't know the agreements they had.
People usually promise heaven and earth in order to consolidate political power in this part of the world, with the firm plan to renege on every single one of such promises the minute their goal has been achieved...a Nigerian politician is the last person you should expect to keep to their word or make good on any pledge whatsoever
MimiSheWrote: Not like it matters, but I live outside which doesn't limit my understanding of the situation in my home country(Nigeria) You don't need to experience a bone fracture to know what it feels like.
Go preach to them in that Plateau community where they are about to bury ten people en-masse, see if they don't stone you to death. Or go to southern Kaduna. For most people leaving is more about security of life and property, and not about money.
MSN1: Three days ago, a tiler in my neighbourhood was using someone's bike to convey tiles to a site. He unfortunately met more than he bargained for on his way...
A construction company's truck hit him seriously on the road, this led to the total destruction of the bike and all he was carrying coupled with a lot of blemishes on the truck But he was lucky enough to have minor injuries and deep cut on his leg.
Though, no one was there to tell who was at fault but these were the after findings:
1. The Truck driver was coming from a sharp bend corner where he went to sell Diesel illegally from the truck. 2. The driver up till now ran and abandoned the truck, knowing the consequences of his illegal actions. 3. The Company is currently taking care of the tiler and the cost of fixing the spoilt truck (which is needed for urgent work). 4. They promised to get the owner, A BRAND NEW BIKE.
-------MY POINTS--------- As we keep complaining and blaming the govt. everyday, we fail to analyse and caution ourselves, Look at how this accident has affected the life of a hustler and the cost it will take the Company to solve this issue. This would cost more than 2million. What if the guy had died? ALL IN THE QUEST TO SELL DIESEL FROM A TRUCK U OUGHT TO BE ON DUTY WITH.
One BAD GOOD thing about karma is that; HE COMES WHEN WE LEAST EXPECTED!
No single person on Earth is perfect but let's always know that; 1. Our collective actions in life goes a long way to change a lot of things in d society and 2. If we change our mindset and actions positively, we have All collectively join forces to change the Government and the Society.
Ishilove: Adaptation leads to evolution. They began genetically evolving when they migrated to colder, higher regions. Finer, longer hair to cover their heads and necks. Lighter skin because of absence of burning heat. Longer noses because of the thinner air etcetera etcetera.
This evolution took place over a course of thousands of years.
PrinceOfLagos: Well, there is nothing wrong in realizing that Dr Ngozi Okonjo Iweala is on another level of her own and only rolls with the likes of the number one citizen of the world and united states president, Joe Bidden, then you decided to swallow your pride as the president of Nigeria to snap with African jewl and global citizen, Dr. Ngozi okonjo Iweala.
