I like beautiful and clean offices. Start-up should focus more on developing long term capabilities and not beautiful workplace

As someone earlier mentioned, successful companies started from garage with tight expenditure control to reduce their operating costs.

Nigerian startup focus so much on acquiring beautiful offices and increasing head counts. Mainly to use it as a form of bragging right. When reality sets in, frustration and depression becomes inevitable. I saw when Jimmy Iyke opened his own with so much fanfare and yet the business is stuttering.

Please for the would be "start-uppers" and "disrupters", don't be moved by these fancy buildings. Beneath them lies huge business debt and unpaid salaries of huge head counts they have. Spend more time in developing your capabilities and up scaling your skills and knowledge.

I have started my own consultancy and designed a beautiful office in my own house where I am running the consultancy from.

If I post my picture from there, you would think that it is one big office

I don't know what is so funny about a woman or man dressing in what they have, doing what they can do. People will not let you rest, they will really laugh at you and mock you for wearing the few clothes that your honest money can afford, or doing whatever honest job you can do - once its not a high class thing. They are so troublesome.

I lost my ATM card and went to the bank to collect 5k. The staff working there chuckled to each other while looking at my withdrawal slip , reffering to each other under their breath " five thousand " as if it is a crime. They looked at my slip as if it was a joke. It is now a crime, people should come and be withdrawing fifty now, as dem dey work for bank, five k is not money.

Thieves is what this country wants. Yes. Why else will you see young people who are meant to struggle naturally for their keep and society will be laughing at them until they make it in an abnormal and dubious way. People don't work to the top again they should just magically become rich at seventeen or eighteen wearing latest clothes and shoes derived from nowhere.
