I think the likes of PDP APC and NNPP should not think that LP don't have money to spend oh! LP can match them cash for cash for winning new voters, LP members are doing very well in the north in promoting Peter obi in the grass root level

Peter obi is the most intelligent person from all the other candidates. One thing in politics is that they are people that will perform very well in state level and perform poorly at the national level, Peter obi falls on the categories of politicians who will perform better in the national level. I can now understand why his opinion poll rating sky rocketed above BAT in Lagos State after his eloquent brilliant speech in the NBA conference and his amazing idea on how to deal with the problem of the high loan Nigeria has borrowed

Thebadpolitican:

Do Nigeria use percentage abi number of vote
this is how % of votes can be counted, for example, if the total number of register voters that vote in a state is : 850000
if party A has a total of:450000
party B has a total of:250000
party C has a total of:100000
party D has a total of:50000
it mean that party A has 40% of the votes, party B has 30% of the votes, party C has 25% of the votes, and party D has 10% of the votes
Culture / A Simple Mathematics For Peter Obi Chances In 2023 Election by newisd75: 9:38am On Aug 13, 2022
Peter obi don't need to meet the Constitution requirements for having 25% vote in 24 states before winning the presidential election, he just have to get enough votes to enter the second round.
Peter obi will have to win in 8 states or in 9 states in the south. For the NC, Peter obi need to win in 2 states, and get votes from 30%-40% in the remaining states in the NC and also win in the FCT or get at least 45% of the votes in the FCT.
For the NW and NE, Peter obi will have to win in one of those state, or get 40% of the votes in that state, one of those state is likely to be Kadunna where his VP is from.
Peter obi will then need to get 10% votes or 25% votes in 5 states from the NW and NE
if Peter obi meet the above requirements, then he stands a good chance of winning the presidential election

the same Atiku that is not sure of winning in his home state, Atiku is just a place holder candidate in PDP without a national spread, he only has record of winning primary election and lossing the presidential election, Peter obi will get higher vote than him and win it in the second round

why should a Fulani man be replaced with another Fulani man, the people of cross river state will not wast their time to go under the hot sun with their families to vote for Atiku, because they know that the real contest in the 2023 presidential election is between Peter obi and BAT, which will be decided in the second round. When you look at Adamawa, Atiku left that state with high level of poverty and unemployment

Peter obi may use Lagos to get double digits figure to his advantage, just imagine if 5-6 million lagosian come out to vote, you can guess what will happen, and also based on the fact that mega churches in Lagos are promoting Peter obi there
Culture / Kadunna PDP Coalition Endorses Labour Party’s by newisd75: 11:10am On Aug 04, 2022
Kaduna PDP coalition endorses Labour Party’s gov candidate
A coalition of support groups for the Peoples Democratic Party’s governorship candidate in Kaduna State, Alhaji Isa Kudan, on Friday, endorsed the Labour Party’s candidate in state, Jonathan Asake, ahead of the 2023 governorship race in the state.
The coalition under the aegis of the ‘Coalition of Support Groups of Honourable Isah Ashiru Kudan in Kaduna State in 2019 General Election,’ also asked for the withdrawal of the PDP’s governorship candidate from the 2023 race in the state.
The coalition comprises ‘Ashiru/Katung Youth Vanguard’; ‘Sarkin Bai Southern Kaduna Support Group,’ ‘Ashiru/Katung Mobilisation Network’ that worked for the governorship candidate of the PDP in 2019 poll.
According to the coalition, for equity, fairness and justice, the 2023 governorship race should be ceded to the Southern Kaduna that had only governed the state for just two years since its creation under the short-lived late Ibrahim Yakowa administration.
The coalition also zeroed their choice to the governorship candidate of the Labour Party who is also the National President of the Southern Kaduna Peoples Union (SOKAPU).
This was contained in a statement jointly signed by the Chairman and Secretary of the Coalition, Joel Garba and Gideon Sardauna respectively, and released in Kaduna on Friday.
Although the groups noted that it remained the constitutional right of the PDP governorship candidate to vie for the seat in the state, it would be morally wrong of zone one (Northern Kaduna) where he hailed from to continue to dominate the political scene.
Adducing reason for endorsing the Labour Party’s candidate, the groups noted that “he is an experienced politician” and an astute leader who had served the people credibly well over the years.
The statement partly read, “A Coalition of Support Groups of Honourable Isah Ashiru Kudan in Kaduna State in the 2019 General Election has advised him to pull out of the 2023 election contest and support Honourable Jonathan Asake, the President of Southern Kaduna People’s Union (SOKAPU) who is the Candidate of the Labour Party (LP) from Southern Part of the State.
“The coalition is made up of Ashiru/Katung Youth Vanguard; Sarkin Bai Southern Kaduna Support Group, Ashiru/Katung Mobilisation Network among others.
“It is the constitutional right of Ashiru to contest, but will be morally unjust for Zone One (Northern Kaduna )that has held unto power for over 10 years out of the the 23 years since the Military returned power to civilians, thereby leaving Zone Two (Kaduna Central) and Three (Southern Kaduna) to share the remaining 13 years out of which Zone Three governed for barely two years; it is, therefore, fair and just for Zone Three Candidate to emerge as the governor in 2023.
“We recognise the fact that there are candidate across various parties but our call for Ashiru to back out and support Asake is based on the fact that we worked for him in 2019, and was disappointed that he couldn’t win his own Kudan Local Government, and as it stands today, nothing much has change. Therefore, the need for someone from Zone three to try his luck.
“Asake is the leader of Southern Kaduna People that are spread across at least 14 Local Government Areas with population not less than 4.5 million persons and voting strength of almost 2 million.
“He is also an experienced politician who served as a Member of the House of Representatives, Interim Management Committee Chairman of the Zangon Kataf LGA, a former Lecturer among others which make him more than competent to lead the state.
“He has proven himself to be good manager of diversity and lover of humanity which he manifested in his unrelenting advocacy to end the Southern Kaduna killings.
“We, therefore, call on lovers of Kaduna State to support Honourable Jonathan Asake for Governor, while prevailing on Honourable Isah Ashiru to step down in order to build synergy among the opposition elements in the state.”

the kwankwaso and Peter obi factor is something BAT and atiku will not be happy about, because they know that they can spoil their chances in the NW and NE. Peter obi for example have many supporters in places like sokoto, katsina, kebbi, jigawa, kadunna, gombe and adamawa, kwankwaso can spoil Atiku and BAT chances in the NE like yobe, zamfara, Bauchi

Peter obi is really making inroads in the SS, the lastest state in the SS that Peter obi is heading for victory is cross river state. before now when Atiku was yet to decide his vp, Atiku and BAT was leading Peter obi in cross river state, but now Peter obi is very popular person in cross river state, which was doing of the media. Peter obi is likely to get 80% of vote in cross river state. The 3 confirm state in the SS that Peter obi is heading for victory are: Edo, Delta and cross river

BAT will be the biggest loser of all this this, because when his own people in the SW look at how the APC has doubled faulted in the security problem, to the point of going to ban the use of motor cycle which is the means of livelihood for many Nigerian and selecting a controversial VP, this could cause BAT to perform poorly in the SW, where he managed to win narrowly in 1 or 2 States

Culture / 2023: Why We Will Work For Peter Obi Not Atiku-plateu Ex- Reps Member, Kaze by newisd75: 12:02pm On Jul 11, 2022
Ahead of the 2023 presidential election, a former member of the House of Representatives from Plateau State, and a chieftain of the main opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Hon. Bitrus Kaze has declared that he will not work for the party’s candidate Alhaji Atiku Abubakar.
He said he would instead work towards the emergence Labour Party’s candidate, Peter Obi.
He also said working for Atiku would be a betrayal of trust, because his emergence as a candidate was against the party’s zoning formula.
He equally said working for Labour Party’s Obi is being faithful to PDP’s zoning formula which is enshrined in its constitution.
Kaze made his declaration in an interview with journalists in Jos, the Plateau State capital, saying if the PDP did not respect its zoning formula, his support for Obi does not amount to anti-party.
He said, “Let me be honest with you, I won’t work for Atiku, because doing so offends our social, religious, and even our economic responsibilities.
“That somebody from the North-West would be President for eight years, you expect somebody from the North-East, same religion like the outgoing to be there for another eight years; it will be betrayal of trust for me to commit myself for such a project on the Plateau, I will not.”
“As a person, I’m at home with Peter Obi, and I will suggest to our people to vote for him, because his candidature pronounces justice, he carries every section of this country.
“I’m not afraid to say it, I’m prepared to say it anywhere”, he maintained.
Kaze, who represented Jos South/Jos East Federal Constituency between 2007 to 2015, however, said, “If the PDP is able to take the ticket from the North and give anybody from the South, I will support that person.”
“But to the extent that the PDP has infringed upon its own constitution, I will remain faithful to the constitution of the party by supporting anybody from Southern Nigeria, and the closest is Peter Obi”, Kaze stressed.
According to him, “In Plateau State, they have learnt from their mistake of 2015, when they refused to zone the governorship to Plateau South, and we lost the election; now its the turn of Plateau Central and the PDP in the State has respected that by zoning it there.
“So, if I did not support the PDP candidate (late Sen. Gyang Pwajok) in my State (Plateau) in 2015, I will be unfair to him, if I support the candidature of Atiku Abubakar in the 2023 presidential race.”
“Like Peter Obi or not; you can be diehard PDP or APC but his movement is reigning and raiding everywhere in this country; nobody can pretend not to take cognisance of this, because Nigerians feel both APC and PDP on the presidential tickets are avoidable, there is no question about that.
“Therefore, I don’t want to discuss Christian-Christian or Muslim-Muslim ticket; my own is simple, the constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria provides that this country must be administered in a manner that commands national loyalty; the constitution of the PDP says that there shall be zoning, and it shall be enforced.
“If PDP does not respect zoning at the presidential level, at what level would it respect zoning?”. He queried.

funny enough I know that APC and PDP supporters will be happy that the south has lower register voters as compared to other zone, but what they fail to realise is that Peter obi supporters has been increasing massively in the core north of NW and NE, even in the home state of the president, many people are now obidient there.
