[size=15pt]What is governor Ifeanyi Okowa doing about this? Is it to sit down in government house Asaba and wait for federal allocation? Can't he travel to Japan and some of this countries in the far east like ( china, malaysia, singapore, indonesia, thailand, south korea, vietnam, etc ) to bring in the foreign investors.

Look at warri and asaba, no single biscuit factory or beverage manufacturing companies. The whole town is dried up without any companies to provide jobs.

This is not good enough. Our governor in the south south espcially core niger delta state like delta state, bayelsa state, rivers states must be proactive.

With the rich deposit of oil and gas, delta state can not boast of an independent power electricity company.

Everything is just eat and go. No investment on project that will change the lives of the people.

You want them to come invest and after a while your people will begin to bomb their facilities asking for all sorts from community fee to village chief Christmas chicken fee.

lol.

Still you will resist any democratic moves they may want to make so that they stay on their on and solve their 'backwardness'

You are shamelessly contradictory.

Are you hign on weed or something.

Have you ever read where I ask you not to leave Nigeria and form your own country. In fact, i am pro-biafra and i want all of us in Nigeria to go our separate ways.

So please if you want to leave Nigeria, do us all the favor of not just talking about it but actually doing it. Start by leaving the south west for starters.

You are being simplistic in your reasoning. Have you forgotten the systematic marginalisation of SE by the federal governments?
Even as a yoruba guy I felt uneasy the last time I went to the east. The northern region has been getting a lot of investment over the years, so both are not comparable.

Which systematic marginalisation.
After the civil war, the second and third republics all have govt controlled by the south east and the north.

They have stayed in federal power longer than any group in the South. So who is marginalised.

The World Health Organisation (WHO) has tagged Onitsha, in Nigeria, the world’s most polluted city.
According to the report published by the World Economic Forum (WEF), Onitsha produced pollution “levels of nearly 600 micrograms per cubic metre of PM10s – around 30 times the WHO recommended level of 20 micrograms per cubic metre,” to get the unenviable rating.
Onitsha, along with three other Nigerian cities, Aba, Kaduna and Umuahia, featured in the top 20.

Following Onitsha on top of the list is Peshawar, Pakistan; Zabol, Iran; Rawalpindi, also in Pakistan; before Kaduna and Aba.
“The cost for countries is enormous. Air pollution affects economies and people’s quality of life. It leads to major chronic diseases and to people ultimately dying,” says Dr. Mari Neira, director of public health in WHO.

These are mostly categories:

Air Pollution and environmental pollution. with the effects on the people quality of Life.

This is no news, we have always known the south east is the most backward region in Nigeria. Even the North with the poverty is cleaner.

Take Nimbo community for instance, the whole town is made up of mud houses with no tarred road and Enugu happens to be the Capital of SE, HOW MUCH MORE THE HELL HOLE CALLED ONITCHA angry

Oguguah:
The AGF cannot declare the election conducted in the Nigerian senate null and void. If he wants to do so, he must approach a competent court of jurisdiction, and if no member of the senate is interested in pursuing the case, then he is wasting his time. What Saraki must do now is too woo all the senators to his side simply by taking some committees from his friends and giving it to his enemies in order to appease them. Then he will tighten his grip on the neck of the executives. He must start attacking and stop defending. Had he bargained his CCT case for the budget, by now nobody will invite him to court again. Politics everywhere is dirty.

You agree the Senate document was forged yet you want the miscreants to continue in office because this illegality fits your bigoted mind.

What happened tomorrow when the reverse is the case and someone else use this as a precedents to commit similar illegality.

We Nigerians are the cause of the problems with Nigeria. We support, encourage and fight for thieves and rogues because of tribalism, hate and nepotism.

May the lord have mercy on your soul.

Leave the people of the south south out of your madness.

The tribes there have nothing against the south west.

The Igbo-man should be carried along by adopting english as the official and only language allowed in the Lagos state house of assembly.

I could remember he once complained about some member speaking yoruba during planery

So in a gathering of over 26 people, one man decides he does not need to know the local dialect, the rest should bend and begin to speak the language he understands in their own land.

Its not your fault, I blame PDP and lawyer gani in Mafoluku that campaigned for motherfucker

He said, u expect the igbo child to speak yoruba..

He already knows that if this had be done since the 1980s... Many igbos would be able to speak yoruba and the inter-marriage rate would be higher than it is now.

Making the igbo language almost extinct. Then everyone would start thinking all southerners are yoruba just the way people think all northerners are hausa.

WHAT HAPPENED TO MAKING IGBO LANGUAGE COMPULSORY IN SCHOOLS IN THE SOUTH EAST.

if you come to Lagos, is it not logical that as part of your social integration you learn and speak the indigenous language? when did speaking Yoruba in south west states equate the whole south speaking Yoruba.

Lagos belongs to all Nigerians, thus yoruba language should not be allowed in the state house of assembly.

moreover there is an Igboman among them, how do you expect him to cope ?

The igbo man representing oshodi is married to a Yoruba woman. He can marry a Yoruba woman, live in yoruba land, make laws in yoruba land but dont want to learn to speak Yoruba language. You see how stupid you sound.

IS NIGERIA DEAD ALREADY?

IF YOU WANT YORUBA LANGUAGE IN LAGOS, WILL ALL NIGERIANS MOVE BACK TO THEIR REGION OR YOU EXPECT AN IGBO CHILD THAT CANT SPEAK IGBO TO BE SPEAKING YORUBA?

THIS IS NOT GOING TO WORK.

IF NOBODY WANT NIGERIA BECOS YOU WANT TRIBES, BETTER TO SETTLE AMICABLY AND PEACEFULLY SO U CAN FACE TRIBE.
?

But the igbo child in Paris that cant speak igbo can speak french. This black mentality of puling each other down is why the so called biafra will not materialise

Was it buhari that submitted the suplementary bill?
How can Amaechi defend what the president did not send to NASS?
Why would u say it was removed to accomodate selfish interest when u first acknowledged it was not in the bill submitted by the president.

To amend the bill, all that is needed is for the executive to disucess the amendment and obtain the appproval of the budget office.

Note the budget office will not approve an amendment without the sign off of the CIC.

Plus please because a proposed statement of planned revenue and expenditure called budget is submitted to the NASS does not make it unamendedable. Until it is signed it is not yet law.

this is what one gets when working with people who are uneducated in matters of governance.
How can u be sending a supplementary bill when the original bill has not been passed? Is it not highest level of ignorant.
NASS members didnt complain because they knew that our president sorounds himself with men of nought. People who dont know that they dont know.

Too bad

Let keep it in perspective.

What Amechi sent is not a supplemtary bill but an approved amendment to the budget. Like ngige correctly pointed out. From submittion to the NASS to the appropriation committee, the budget office is allowed to make amendments with appprovals before the bill is passed.

Note at this stages it is still a bill, until the president appends his signature as such the bill can be amended

Igbo and greed.

The south east Igbo have formed government at the central with the north more than any other tribe in the south.

Between the first republic to the fourth republic, the Igbo and the north have always formed government at the central while the south west has always been in opposition.

Yet this same people will come online to malign the south west for forming a government with the north for the first time in nigeria history.

This same tribe will claim marginalization

This same will claim every nigerian hate them

That my friends is what greed can do to people.

I bring you greetings from the current sorry state of our dear country. It is a well known fact that we played a massive role as steered by our own(Tinubu) to bring this present government to power. We did this partly because we felt GEJ was incompetent and because we had a platform that made one of our own to be vice( and ultimately president incase anything happens. Yaradua comes to mind). I have been thinking and I'm lost in between hiding under the shame of what I voted for and to scream so as to save my dear country and what the future holds for my kids. We don't need a prophet to tell us we voted in ERROR. We placed soo much hope on a man who doesn't have good past leadership records or even a certificate. We voted for him out of what we percieved him to be. We are all suffering it now. We cannot keep on answering Zombies. Zombies smile in suffering. I suggest we do something and urgent too. Can we impeach him so that our son can take over? The irony is that the career of our bright stars such as Fashola,Adeosun, Osinbajo etc have been stained by extended clueless-ness of PMB. We can still save our race and what we stand for. I rest my case!

Not holding brief for the government, but to determine if you voted in error, you need to wait for this regime to implement its own budgets. The current regime is less than a year and you already expect it to solve the problems created over 16 years of pdp rule.

i didnt vote magicians in and i just want to remind you this regime is not made up of magicians
