First, are you writing according to SEO.. because if you are then when you buy a domain you wouldn't have to complain about traffic (thats if you are really good in literature and writing unique contents)

Secondly, before you just spot on into blogging .... you have to understand your audience.. what motivates them.... In my blogs I have plans which will entertain my users and keep them coming... I have free giveaways and so much stuff in store for them....

Here is what I mean by audience

1. You can't be writing big big grammar and expecting to reach the Nigerian and African Population completely..
2. You can't be writing cheap cheap grammar and expect Nigerians and the whole world to respect your blog...

You have to know the audience you are trying to reach.... learn their language (I dont mean Igbo, Yoruba or swahili) I mean learn how they respond to content (ask yourself how do you respond to others content)..

Thirdly, invest... if you are one of those people looking at lindaikeji and wishing to be like her I want you guys to know this... Lindaikeji's blog came up when blogs were not a big thing. so she easily made it into the limelight with patience and consistency...

Now you need more than that in this age there are 164 million blogs....

Here is how you would invest and get so much.. Now when you advertise a blogger (unlike all those bloggers advising for money only)... You can post a great news like 7 things you didnt know about this........... Using facebook you can advertise to 21 - 65 and under that post you will put an email subscription with a little text saying..

"Did you love this write up... Just type in your email so that you can recieve so much more like this"

If the reader loved your post he will type in his email ... this way you wouldn't have to constantly advertise to get readers..

If you are using blogger it is very easy.... But if for wordpress... I have to go back to my wordpress blog since I have forgotten where it is... But when you look at the formatting options in which you can make text Bold or Italic or edit you will see an option which is either jump break or page break..

just click on where you want the words to break then click on that jump break or page break.. and thats all ... save and publish
