Sheggy13: It seriously baffles me why someone would willingly sign up for priesthood and swear an oath of celibacy, when you know you're attracted to women and want to constantly have intimacy. It's not like they placed a gun on your head to accept the priesthood. Many join the priesthood in order to escape poverty. You know sometimes poverty can tame your libido. |

Ironfaceman: Buhari did the same do I guess is a tribal thing. But how will tribalism favor us. Buhari didn't do the same. There are 19 northern states. His appointments spread across the northern states, not a particular tribe. Tinubu did the same tenure extension for the police IG and Immigration CGI because they're his kinsmen. Very sad! |

NuCypher: I had to stop critiquing religion, christianity and pastors because she doesn't like it. As someone who has critiqued useless Nigerian pastors all my life, this was difficult to stop. But I had to adjust. I still think pastors, especially Nigerian pastors like Oyedepo, ADeboye and Oyakhliome, are the scum of the earth, but I just hold this thought to myself now. It gets too sensitive when she hears me calling out their horrible habits, decisions and postulations. Anyways, I get to do that online on a site like Nairaland. But with her, we just glide away from the subject and never bring it up.
Point to note: Nigerian pastors and most pastors in general, especially those of the pentecostal faith, are the most useless bunch of criminals the world has ever seen. Next to them are Nigerian politicians. You're right. There's in fact, an unholy alliance between pastors, politicians, and traditional rulers. This trio is the reason why a revolution has not occurred in this country despite the biting hardship. |

My theory... There is a steady supply of Simps who encourage and indulge this behavior.
Such weak ass Negroes are the ones creating the impression that sex is all a lady was created to offer as a means of livelihood and entitlement. Desperate times require desperate measures. Nigeria's becoming hard, so no more pretenses anymore |

Private school fees are very expensive, can be raised arbitrarily and their owners can't accept fees Federal Government charges students in govt institutions.

Sometimes when I read people say something must kill a man, I laugh because that is a language of an ignorant man who has never lived in pain. How are we sure if any of this guys wins the coming presidential elections they won't use their power to enrich their business, thereby causing more harm to the Nigerian economy.
You want to ask me how? With bad power generation, people will continue to buy generating set. Secondly, as far as Nigeria continue to import almost everything, without producing and exporting our economy will still remain the same.
Are we suppose to vote this set of people? Please if you want to quote me, remember we have other candidate apart from obi, atiku and Tinubu You're one of the few Nigerians thinking deep about the risks of electing any of these three presidential candidates |

WeLive: Truth
ASUU is a bit selfish. And all these months they are on strike, they will still receive their full salaries. Maybe their salary structure should be reviewed, so that there will be basic salary as an employee and salary payment for lecture periods (may be more). This will make it that when they are on strike, they won't receive the part for lecture periods.
I want to be Minister for Education Mass ignorance is a major threat to democracy in Nigeria. I've heard some miseducated folks (and I blame ASUU) ask why lecturers be paid for work not done. This shows the level of destructive ignorance that holds the nation by the jugular. This also shows a crass misunderstanding of ASUU's struggles. The important point which is that the government has consistently reneged and breached agreements (MOUs & MOAs) voluntarily entered into with the union is lost. That is the crux of the matter. The danger with this thinking is that government is trying to set a precedent whereby if they want to deny workers their rights, they can easily provoke them into embarking on a strike and consequently, withhold their salaries. This is a tyrannical, autocratic and undemocratic method of emasculating and arm twisting labour unions from fighting for the improvement in the welfare of their members. It may effectively become governments' dubious means of raising fund whenever they experience paucity of funds. |

But have you for once seen any Ibo supporting Tinubu they threaten and abuse other people because of their political view , you can't support any other candidates in the East be you indigene or non indigene , Nnamani served the same period with Tinubu he came to defend Tinubu administrative intelligence, We all saw how Igbos rushed him . When we talk about performance at the former public office Obi is no where near Tinubu , they have to deny Tinubu's performance look up , lekki FTZ , Eko Atlantic, LAMATA, LASTMA, etc and tell me what tenure they were founded . To me Obi is no where near ACN governors except Fayemi. He's just a repackaged fraud . Go and check his reviews from Anambra people when he was in office, that brings me to the conclusion that this people have an ulterior motive . And if you don't see it we it will haunt us all . Those Pentecostal fraudsters are trying hard to package him as a christian candidate. |
