Palm tree is one of the richest trees on earth when it comes to natural endowment. No part of palm tree is wasted, every part of it can be converted into monetary gain.
There are enormous products you can get from palm tree, some are known to us, while some are totally unknown. Let’s look at various things we can use different parts of a palm tree to make: palm oil, wood or planks, palm wine, broom, palm Kernel, frond stall,Mats, basket, palm kernel, etc.
-Palm oil – is the most popular product we get from the palm tree. It is extracted from the palm fruit and it’s used as cooking and frying oil. Palm oil is very healthy and nutritious for human consumption. It is also used for industrial purpose, for manufacturing cosmetic, soaps, toothpaste, lubricant, ink and waxes.
-Wood or planks – the stems from palm tree can be converted into woods or planks for making buildings.
-Palm wine – palm wine is a sweet tasty drink that’s gotten from the sap of various species of palm tree like the date palms, Palmyra and coconut palms. It is one of the most popular drink in Africa with enormous benefits. It has the ability to fight cancer, it increases eyesight, reduces the risk of cardiovascular disease, promotes lactation and also helps in maintaining a healthier skin, hair and nails.
-Broom -there is no home (poor or rich home) you won’t find brooms. Broom is used for sweeping, removal of cobwebs and also used for making ewedu soup in Nigeria.
-Palm kernel – palm kernel is an edible seed of the palm fruit. Palm kernel oil is derived from palm kernel seed, the oil is a great remedy for epilepsy, is a rich antioxidant agent that contains vitamin E and prevents symptoms and signs of aging; when applied to the hair it makes hair thicker and prevents breakage, it softens the skin, helps to detoxify the body, controls blood pressure and takes care of body odour.
-Frond stall – is used as purling in making roofs.
-Mats – leaves fiber obtained from the leaves of raffia palm, are used for mats, baskets hats for commercial purpose and for tying plants and other objects.
-Baskets – baskets are made from leaves fiber of palm trees, it is being sold in bulk most times to distance places where they are being used for different purposes.

Other advantages of palm tree plantation are: There is no fear of theft. You are sure of getting frequent income and always has good market price all through the year.
It provides local employment, encourages intercropping and has low pest and disease incidence.
It yields highest edible oil among the other oil crop.
The palm tree is a great source of generating income in Nigeria because of usefulness and the huge profit involved in every part of the tree (fruits, kernel, trunks, leaves and sap) used for different products. If there is any agricultural business I can advise anybody to go into, it is owning a palm plantation because this is a business that can serve many generation to come. It takes about four to five years to start reaping the fruits from the tree but it is definitely worth the wait because it generates income for years to come. This type of business requires patience.

Good that you said mostly, not all. I have dealt and still dealing with a lot of people on nairaland without regret. My boss @FarmBusinessNG paid me for something he is yet to collect since about 2 weeks ago because he doesn't need it yet. There are a lot of genuine people on nairaland trying to make ends meet because they do not have.
I took time to check the op out, he has been mostly active on politics since he joined this forum in 2018. The time he has spent on agriculture section has been about oil Palm tree. I think he's into the business. Let's be careful about what we say on a forum like this . Having said that, it will help the op if he mention the location so that intending investors can make quick decisions. Thank you

It is done in a covered area as you can see in one of those pictures, or in container for personal use, like one of those plastic drum. Nylon or tarpaulin can also be used in open area so as to get quick access for turning with a shovel. You still need to water it sparingly and turn them from time to time. The materials decompose faster during the dry season. I want to believe what you see outside in the picture are the finished products, sun dried of any remaining liquid to make them light for bagging.

If you leave it in the open, it's going to take like forever to decompose even without rain.

To get this to the people in the village, a tank will be placed at the highest point near the river/stream while gravity do the rest to the village. All of this are natural, so can not fail. For those who don't understand that part, do we all remember how water was distributed into our streets in towns and cities before the demise of water corporation?. They usually have a very tall reservoir where they pump water into, but when they serve us, they don't need to pump, gravity does it. The same way you don't need a pump to use the water in the tank on top of your house.

This can also be used to provide water for the rural areas, I mean bringing their water (stream/river) close to them in the centre of the village. Every village have their source of water, so If you've been looking for a way to give something everyone will benefit to your village, this is it. Far better than a borehole because it's maintenance free. I will explain better how this can be taken to the village even if the distance from village to the stream is up to 1 kilometres.

I want to state other conditions based on questions I have been asked on WhatsApp, though I would have loved those questions here for everyone to see my answers.

The installation process and cost will vary due to different patterns of farm areas and types of water source. Reason being that the level of the intake needs to be significantly higher than the position of the pump, the reason swamps and lakes will not work. The velocity from the inlet to the pump is what powers it.

For a stream to achieve a desired head at the intake, a dam will be built across the flow to raise the water level. That'll require a length of pipe between 50 ft and 100 ft, unless in a place where a stand pipe is used.

But for a river, a much longer pipe will be needed as it will be impossible to build a dam across a river without heavy machineries.

For water to flow, there's a gradient, or slope, if you like. Now this slope is a continuous thing along the river, otherwise rivers will just flow where there's slope and stop where there's none. Now if you mark out 100 ft along the bank of the river, there will be a level difference between the two points, you may not see with your eyes, but it's there. What I'm saying is your first point upstream is higher than your second point downstream, that's why the water is moving. That is how we get the right height for the pump, the pipe in this case could be between 300ft and 500ft, depending on how steep the difference from upstream point A is to downstream point B is.

I didn't put my number here intentionally, I want interactions, questions before we start talking about cost implications. The installation could be likened to solar vs generator. You can buy a generator today, buy fuel and start using. Solar takes a little more time for installation, cost more but cheaper over time.

The pump does not gush out like your conventional pump, the advantage it has is the ability to push water to over 100 meter vertical, plus it's 24/7 operation, this I believe more than takes care of the 'gush' by other pumps. What you see in this video is for demonstration purpose, what I would be offering is bigger than this, 2 inch pump.

Unfortunately, it's not applicable to every water source, like a swamp. No action without some sort of energy, it's the power of the flow of water that does the trick. So if you have flowing water near your farm, this is what you need to save cost on ever increasing price of fuel.

This is a ram pump that uses the flow of water to run, no electricity, no fuel. Since it rely on natural source of water, it works 24/7 unless of course if you don't need it that much, when all you need to do is shut the inlet valve.
