Omo_Tier1:
What is there to be humbled by or for This is how we get so carried away by the slimmest of success and blow our trumpets until we are back to square one. I always ask myself, if Nigeria were Spain who have won virtually everything to be won in football. There is not doubt that there players who were not included in the squad that won the AFCON in South Africa would equally have contributed their quarter.

Let be thankful and grateful to God that we have such a bundle of talents we can call on to serve the nation. If anything, Osaze, Martin et al have never acted as though there were in-disposable like you claimed. If they had grievances about how players were being treated by the NFF, and decided to cry out... is that a crime
i wont support self conceit. Bt,criticising and tacklin issues one way is what i dont like. Osaze case has a lot of remote causes bt, he failed to present his words with diplomacy. Dont cruxify him cos many pple here can act like that if they are provoked

BankoleNco: Will you pick Ahmed Musa Over Nsofor or Osaze?

Will you take Ejike Over Ogbuke?

Will you take Oshaniwan Over Taiwo?

We had no spare No 2 and Onazi had to fill in when Ambrose was suspended.

We have only one dependable goal scorer "in the attack". What happens if God forbid he gets injured during qualifiers? Maybe wait for Sunday Mba again?

Not taking anything away from the current crop of players, they are amazing, but we still need to must fortify the team.
Good question!

Reptyle: Sadly, it is responses like what most of us have posted on this thread that make for the lack of commitment shown by some professionals while on duty for Nigeria. We forget that they are human and prone to the same kind of pressure that makes us misbehave sometimes.

They make one mistake and we forget times when they gave their best and we commit them to the dung heap of history. I remember the time when Osaze and Obagoal were the toast of Nigerians for their passion on the field. Today no one remembers that. They became big stars and they became cocky.

Someday, this same Emenike will move to the big league and get swollen-headed and silly. Then we will also condemn him and disdain the commitment he and other members of the team showed at AFCON 2013. We did it to Oliseh and his boys; we are doing it to Yobo, Ike Uche, Osaze, Taiye Taiwo and the rest of them that "we no longer need." We will do it to Emenike, Victor Moses and the rest of them...its only a matter of time.

That is why these heroes will continue to put their personal interests before the country's.
You are an objective critic criqueing...Everyone has got an animal in himself. thats Osaze's. But he is stil much needed and obagoal and Nsofor.

aribisala0: The most important Ingredient Stephen Keshi.
There can still be a place for one or two of those names on the BENCH but even at that their time on the Super Eagles is extra time still they would be useful for World Cup Qualifiers when injuries can happen.
So I would not write off Osaze. He is a young man who has gone astray but if he changes his attitude we should forgive.I don't see him making the World Cup if we qualify but he may be useful in the squad for qualifying . This is equally true for Martins. Still we should continue to look for even more Emenikes and Mbahs at home. What we want is a situation where we have another 2 or 3 elevens who WANT to play for Nigeria without holding the country to ransom. That is why we must never close the door on anyone permanently EVEN Aiyegbeni grin

Once again respect to Keshi. On that side of things we need to think long term too. Where is the next Keshi coming from. I see Keshi leaving Nigeria for the likes of Angola or Qatar.
i love d way u reacted to d issue with balanceness

They are still needed in d team. Apart frm odemwingie unprofessional attitude, all others were nt in form. Hence they were nt called. I think some still has a place there even d rebel, osaze. But you pple u are quick 2 judge whereas many of u are inherently arrogant. Leave Osaze alone. he fuckd up but he may be pardoned by d F.A. God had taught him a big lesson. So coming bac to d team(may be),he would be as meek as moses.

What we do nt believe becomes a nuisance to us. Every religion has its concormitant precepts, body language, signs and communications. You can pray aloud and pray silently as situation deems. Disputing prayin aloud? Then God Almight will give a cause to be in problems and confusion. or let kidnappers abduct you,you will want to say a loud silent pray. God will have mercy on us all.
Religion / Re: Have You Ever Witnessed The Gift Of Interpretation Of Tongues by nezpablo: 10:21am On Dec 21, 2012
I can tell u categorically dat there is interpretation of tongue and i had seen it. My General Overseer will interprete for u. If u speak in tongue and u go and meet him to tell u,he would tells u. There, i understood that it is spiritual thing. Holy spirit helps u to pray not amiss JAMES 4:3, because we dont knw how to pray ROM 8:26. What u are sayin when speakin in tongue may be diff frm what u intended to ask.so d spirit helps nt to pray amiss so u can receive matt 7:8. It is a heavenly language. D satan and evil spirit dont understand it. So, i ve seen interpretation of tongues. But,very rare

NYSC / Re: Corpers Cause Mass Failure In Schools - Teachers Council by nezpablo: 12:28pm On Dec 13, 2012
This issue is overflogged! The solution: let NYSC stop postin corpers to school. Then, let us do our evaluation aftermath. If mass failure do not abate or come to a halt, then corpers are to be blamed. But i doubt it that mass failure will nt continue unabated. I need to be proved wrong. We are nt d same, some can teach while some cannot. However, most corpers are better than d so call teachers. Am better than most of d teachers i met at d school i served. D sch has no ENGLISH,Accounting,Biology teaher prior to my postin and they have got no ENGLISH TEACHER after me. D principal cares nt abt d students. Yet,insuffient and daft teacher are there. I do nt think corpers are culprit.
NYSC / Re: Corpers Cause Mass Failure In Schools - Teachers Council by nezpablo: 10:00pm On Dec 11, 2012
Truth be said, only trainedw teachers shld teach in schools. However, mass failure is nt caused by corpers only bt by unqualified/lazy teachers. I thought english during my service year. I read mass comm and i impacted well. Those students still call me though we may nt see again. They call me coz they can't forget me. But, i inherited poor students who can barely write a composition, hardly speak correctly. If they fail,is it d fault of corpers? Or the teachers in d school? So d fault is nt corpers per se bt our education institution.

Romance / Is There Anytime To Love In A Potential Dating? by nezpablo: 9:11pm On Jul 10, 2012
I am faced with a knotty issue a begin question which must be answered! Methink, before two love-birds take themselves to the altar, there should be an established love between them because the word"YES I DO"is heavy in the mouth. It is a life sentence! But i listened to a programme on rockcity F.M yesternite, the question was thrown down to d public platform and am still largely uncontented with d responses i got.
But i believe in Nairalander that we have analytical prowess to knife the knotty poser.
THE QUESTION: Is it right to love with all heart when dating or when the man and d woman gets hooked?
So this is my story, let the sages take the simplifying baton.

@vavavoom.i really like ur sagacious pointer:that we av in-house upheaval nd so forth nd dat d salvation to our ravaging image is to employ a hoslistic measure. Your point is well noted. I dont knw what was on d mind of d initiator of dis topic:May be he just want to probe d minds of d pple to gather opinions,or dats is his s tandard views about men or guys;men, guys are worried b4 they are married nd d worry intensifies when they get married.

Most of us are nt ready 2 marry now because d resposibilities are much;like d economist:'wants are numerous, but resources are scarce'.

Nigeria is a country dat puts in a tight corner,u must plan nd plan well,in d process of planning, sme wl leave their attractive age nd d girl eventually leaves because of prolonged waitin. The money u wanna gather,is stil scarter!d dream may be shattered!!where wl that leaves u?
