It's extremely difficult to unlearn bad grammar after puberty. Reading won't help that much either. She needs to socialise in an environment where she only hears grammatically correct english in order not to fall into her hard wired bad English grammar.

She should socialise as little as possible with people that speak incorreclty.

Vocabulary or pronunciation won't be that much of an issue, training and practice is what is needed.

Hmm i was surprise when a friend got an iMac for 4500 naira (fairly used). He just went to an electronics shop but those guys there thought it was just a TV set so they sold it for that low price. He took the advantage because he knew about macs.

Window have ground in Nigeria and may continue to. Mac is too expense (hardware & software) . If u have a special purpose u want to use it for then go for it.

It all depends on what you exactly want to do with your computer. If you're into digital media production, there's nothing that beats a Mac, but they come at a price. You should make a cost-benefit assessment and see if the extra initial cost is justified by your productivity gains.

The most important thing that sets Macs apart from Windows PC's (apart from the GUI and the overall ease of use) is colour accuracy (real WYSIWYG for print) and typeface accuracy (also very important for print). If you want to get a printjob done correctly without going through a bunch of colour proofs, get a Mac.

You cannot really prove a negative, unless of course you know the properties of God and find contradiction between these properties and the Bible, but in that case, God will be by definition self contradictory.

This doesn't really make sense. you can apply the same logic to call murder both a right and a crime.

Exactly, but then it depends on what your beliefs are based on. Are they based on hard facts and evidence or are they based on emotion. I do not disqualify emotions in this, but they cannot be the basis for policy, but rather for what you [i]personally [/i]are going to do.

From studies of the different variants of the HIV virus, it seems that the DNA of the variant mostly found in Africa is sufficiently different from the variant mostly found in the USA and Europe, that they may even come from 2 independent mutations. Anyway, we're far from finding out the exact truth about the origins of HIV

The only people for whom this is reliable, are the ones that already believe in a near literal interpretation of the Bible. For others, it carries little weight. People may believe in it, but that does not make it reliable.

It was clearly about his second coming in his apostle's lifetime. I have quoted these passages already in another thread. They speak for themselves, I think.

Goodguy, you're continuously referring to the Bible to support what's in the Bible. You need outside sources and other supporting evidence to make it convincing.

The second coming was prophecised to happen within the lifetime of some of his disciples.... why hasn't he come yet?

In Belgium, I spend €60 for a permanent cable connection to the internet (this gives me 10 Mbps down speed, 512 Kbps up speed, 4 IPs, 30 MB volume) there are cheaper product to have a permanent internet connection, but you don't have that many options
