PoliticsRe: Segun Showunmi: Atiku Won't Accept Cyber-bullying From Buhari's Handlers by Nfora: 3:50pm On Nov 09, 2020
sapientia:
After considering the claim by the clown who started this on twitter and checking the dates each of the accused made their comments with the huge timeline between them. I have 2 verdicts.

1. The clown who alleged the linked between the #ENDSARS protesters and Atiku is a very unintelligent youth

2. The people who believed the clown are worse than the clown.
But this your comments cannot emanate from an intelligentsia.

Does political support expire with time or have timeline ?

PoliticsRe: CBN Employed Aondoakaa To Freeze Bank Accounts Of #EndSARS Promoters by Nfora: 6:38pm On Nov 08, 2020
What a trash.

Garnishee order of court on suspicious bank accounts is very legitimate and inline with global best practices.

Sahara reporters should be telling us exactly the nature, source and quantum of the money inflows into the various bank accounts ,to justify or unjustify the freezing.

Enough of all these sensational and populist headlines.
PoliticsRe: 5 #EndSARS Protesters Attacked And Arrested By The Police In Abuja - Sowore by Nfora: 2:31pm On Nov 06, 2020

If they were arrested without being attacked, I would understand. But why would any sane police officers attack peaceful protesters?
2023 is too far but we wait patiently.

Business Success Secrets unveiled:

There is no way to eliminate all the risk associated with starting a business. However, you can boost your chances of success by adequate preparation and planning. The starting point will involve you answering some salient questions:
1. How well can you handle different sorts of people ( In business, you will meet the good, the bad and the ugly!)
2. How good is your decision making strategy? (In business, those who are good at making good and incisive decisions are usually successful)
3. Do you have the emotional and physical stamina to start and run a business? (Starting and running a business of your own can be physically and emotionally demanding.
Those who can stand the heat usually pack up midway
4. How good are you in terms of organizational skills, time management and planning skills? (Business involves lots of planning, organization and time management). If you can't juggle between running your own family and your business or organizing your account books, staff or taking inventory of stocks...then you need to reconsider going into business.
I hope others would not be fooled by your own definition of peaceful protest.

The right to protest does not include right to deface public property or block roads to infringe on the rights of others to free movement.

I wonder why that nuisance called Sowore, was not arrested.
PoliticsRe: 5 #EndSARS Protesters Attacked And Arrested By The Police In Abuja - Sowore by Nfora: 2:24pm On Nov 06, 2020
ivolt:
Good for them. They are defacing public property with paints, disrupting movements and have the nerve to call themselves "peaceful protesters". This is how those rioters who block roads and harass motorists claimed to be peaceful. Maybe Sowore needs to boost his ego by organizing more protests because he was rejected as a leader of EndSars in the last protest. These rioters should find something better to do.
Thanks.

It is clear the idiotic Sowore and his accomplice have a different agenda.

In a democracy ,the only legitimate way to change government is through the ballot box.

Only idiots will think of revolution in a democracy.

PoliticsRe: Lekki Tollgate Shooting: LCC Submits Footage To Judicial Panel by Nfora: 2:48pm On Nov 03, 2020
Sanchez01:
There is no denying that the footage must have been tampered with already. Emerging stories will surround power outage at the toll gate and the military will walk free even though they have indicted the governor and themselves. No way in hell Tinubu will allow his own LCC submit the actual footage of the massacre. If the panel depends on the footage to make any sane case on the happenings of that night, then the case is lost.

Here's something to consider:

1. Tinubu owns the LCC.
2. Sanwo-Olu denied not knowing about the power outage at Lekki that night.
3. The military denied ever being there.
4. Sanwo-Olu indicted the military on CNN.
5. The military in an attempt to clear itself fingered Sanwo-Olu as the person who asked them to intervene but did not shoot at protesters and only shot blanks.
6. After being fingered, Sawno-Olu became dumb and has since stayed that way when he ought to counter the army.

Note that Sanwo-Olu at Alausa 'protested' with the youths and 'took the 5for5 demands to Abuja' to see Buhari.

7. All the time the protest was on, Tinubu's LCC was daily losing huge amount of money before the soldiers came in.

It was all about securing the toll gate for Tinubu and dispersing awakened youths the Northen oligarchs feared would shame and humiliate Buhari out of office. Buhari's government needed the youths off the street and Tinubu needed off the toll gate.

LCC is messing with people here. As the true company of Tinubu, expect them to say their cameras never captured the unfortunate event at Lekki that night.
Fake news Monger.

LCC is 100% owned by Lagos State Government.

Provide your evidence to the contrary or shut up your mouth.
PoliticsRe: Lagos Judicial Panel Of Inquiry Visits Lekki Toll Gate, Discovers Bullet Shells by Nfora: 3:45pm On Oct 30, 2020
SmartyPants:
We saw videos of shootings, Lagos government has confirmed shootings, the army has confirmed shootings.

The discovery of bullet casings is therefore not news.

What we need to know are:

1. Where those bullets blanks or live?
2. Was anyone shot or were bullets merely fired in the air?
Very intelligent questions.

Nairaland is full of emotional reactors!

Both the OP and moderator are mischief makers.

Is saying'' it was not poverty that led to looting'' the same thing as saying ''Nigerians are not hungry?

They have started again!

Perhaps the OP and moderator are ignorant of the fact that when the country boils,it will consume everybody, including Nairaland.

Rubbish!

oga, inflation has been on before this protest so don't blame it on protest.
The protest has worsened it.

You cannot deny this basic fact of demand and supply.

The protest has reduced supply.

The road blockage caused inflation especially in Lagos.

Drivers of vehicles bringing goods from the north were scared of coming to Lagos because of the arson and looting.
The problems arising from protests, far outweighs the prospects.

Advocacy and dialogue wiil always remain the way to progress and prosperity.
PoliticsRe: #EndSARS: An Appeal To Protesters To Stop Obstructing Traffic by Nfora: 12:24pm On Oct 17, 2020
It is very barbaric and negates the tenants upon which they are protesting.

The constitution that guarantees freedom to protest, also guarantees freedom of movement.

Protesters can go on with their legitimate action without encroaching on other people's right.

Leaders of tomorrow indeed!

2 days ago,a man could not visit his pregnant wife in the hospital because the roads were blocked.

What a country!
Hypocrisy every where!

It has always been like that. It's the noisy spectators that wouldn't let you hear the players and coaches shouting .

Very normal even in competitive football and international leagues.

Rubbish talk.

So if minimum wage in Nigeria is less than what is it in Saudi ,imported fuel should be cheaper in Nigeria, abi?

By this stupid thinking, then imported cars in Nigeria should be cheaper because our minimum wage is low.

In fact all imported goods should be cheaper in Nigeria!!

I just hope people will receive sense.

Only subsidy can lower the price of fuel.

The earlier all these senseless and reactionary people realised that the cost of fuel is not a function of minimum wage ,but that of cost of production/importation,the better for them.

It is indeed very senseless to buy imported fuel less than that of Saudi Arabia.

Unfortunately, it appears it's you who need glasses in addition to brain... He talked about vote cast and not valid votes.

Is the number of vote cast (valid + invalid) supposed to be more than accredited voters?
Where did you see total votes cast as 946 and Accredited as 932?

The two of you must be blind then!

Valid votes of 923 versus accredited votes of 936,make a valid result!

If you add valid votes of 923 plus invalid of 13,you get total accredited votes of 936.

People reading this will appreciate the person that really needs brain upgrade.
