demmy: Pathetic baboon are you on drug? The split came after Action Group established the university of Ife, Awolowo was still the leader then you baboon igboid.
Anophelles Yorubie, Hawolowo gave you people half-baked education. At first you said he established U.I, then we handed you the correct lesson. You came up again with Ife, you were also corrected, get a life, aszhole, Hawo is not intelligent enough to establish great universities such as U.I and Ife, idiott.

mekuslogan: Awo was a war villain and a selfish monkey. Achebe is on point on his description of Awo. As for Gowon, he is a lost cause not worth commenting about.
Yet Hawolowo offered Ndigbo £20 after the war. How did he escape the Hague?.

demmy: Foolish baboon Yigbo boy suffering from colo mental dont bite. Obviously I meant to say University of Ife. Still my point stand as it concern UI and the bigot called Achebe, if Yoruba nationalists hadn't agitated for a college and the Ibadan chiefs hadn't donated land to build it on the bigot would not have a university to attend in Nigeria.

Are u settle now baboon?

Olosi.
Castrated monkey, Awolowo did not establish the university at Ife. It was established by Akintola-the man he headbutted at a Jos rally. Once again, get a life, bastardd.
Politics › Re: Awolowo: Babatope Tackles Achebe by Ngodigha: 5:20pm On Oct 06, 2012
demmy: Achebe would not have an education if Awolowo did not have the vision to established the University of Ibadan. The ingrate should be thankful he didn't end up as a tailor in his village. Ko ni daa fun.

Illiterate monkey, go and tell your fellow drop-outs that Awo never estabished any university in Nigeria.
U.I was established by the colonial regime.
I hope this settles in your empty skull, monkey.

jimmyboy1010: Pls tell me, what exactly has come over you people of N'digbo? Who started the war at the first place? No one but OjuIkwu who doesn't plan before embarking on a useless mission and at the middle of it took race to Ivory-Coast to take shelter ane left his sibblings to die of hunger!!! Mcheeeewzzz..
Did Ojukwu at any time declare war?.

demmy: Scraping the barrel for something to criticize are we?

At least Awolowo gave free education which also benefited many igbos, what did your igbo leaders give apart from death and destruction? While Yoruba leaders are spreading freedom and justice, Achebe is locked in bitter hatred.

Stay hateful.
Get lost with your epistle. The truth here is that Awo has been sold to the world as a murderer which he was. What a murderer. He should be exhumed and his rotten bones tried at the Hague.

4chi: Achebe the cripple has always been a bloody bigot just like the majority of his kinsmen.he was so envious of woke Soyinka's Nobel prize that he opened his wide ugly mouth to say that the Nobel does not make Wole the "asiwaju" of Nigerian writers. When Awo died, he made the ONLY negative comment about the sage even when the likes of ojukwu did not. No wonder karma caught up with him and made him a lonely cripple living in exile and filled with so much bitterness... Oloshi eda. Aro lasan lasan. And WTF in the silly beret the mofo is always wearing?
Monkey, shut up. Prof Achebe has not lied in his memoirs. Why can't all this Yorugba fools come up here and show us how Achebe lied. Awo's £20 measure after the war was criminal and his war policies should make the INT COURT OF JUSTICE try the eediot post humoursly.
Thang God, the world now knows about Awo and for the wrong reason. What a killer.

From the palace, to offices and to the streets. Even at market sites and building sites, it is always one yoruba agains another yoruba. Shameful. See this two yorubas doing their act.
Here are few markers in the war for you to reflect upon when you have time.

1. A plotted attempt by ibos to deploy and nationalize the ibo brand all over non-ibo lands of the federation had failed. Nzeogwu's selected elimination of political and military leaders.

2. A second attempt and successful snatch of power by ibos conniving and deposing the civilian regime in a deception that had Dipcharima fearing that if he did not yield power he and his party members, the rightful majority to the seat, would be eliminated. He therefore yielded to Ironsi.

3. An investigation into the Nzeogwu plot was dragged and the plotters shielded giving perception of bias and favoritism.

4. The imbalance movement and promotion of ibo civil servants as well ibo military officers to serve as head of parastatals and command units.

5. The interference in regional governments, dissolving powers reserved for the regions through the use of decrees.

6. Instead of offering sympathy and condolence and sharing in goodwill with their Hausa neighbors who just lost Bello and Balewa, ibos in the North.....inflated by the power of their new ascension to top posts flaunted arrogance and know-how and broke the plug that had held in the steam from exploding.

7. The Northerners retaliated with their own coup and went wild killing ibos.

8. A second failure in the attempt to be at the top of the totem pole and ibolize Nigeria.

9. Gowon became head of state. Ojukwu took it personal as an insult that he, an Oxford graduate, would be subordinate to a secondary school certificate holder. Moreover, Gowon dismissed Ojukwu's request to follow the protocol of ascension......Ogundipe was senior and the next in line. When Ironsi unlawfully took power out of turn and quite illegitimately from a democratically elected officials, Ojukwu was one of those that sanctioned it and in fact he was the one who coined the title "Supreme" Military Commander which Ironsi used. He fought agaonst Gowon using that title on grounds that Ironsi had not officially been declared dead and therefore Ironsi was still the SMC.

10. Ojukwu grew suspicious and feared that Gowon and Murtala were after him. He decided that if ibos could not be ontop of everybody then nobody would be on top of ibo.....particularly those he considered inferior to ibos - Yorubas and Hausas and all other non-ibos.

11. Ojukwu isolated himself in Enugu and started a propaganda briefings. Relationships broke down between Lagos and Enugu.

12. Aburi was an attempt to review what happened from January 66 to date and obtain reconciliation. Gestures of goodwill by Gowon and the other accompanying delegates from Lsgos was dismissed and rebuffed by Ojukwu. Their invitation for reconciliation was repeatedly shut down by Ojukwu.

13. There were conditions which both sides did not enumerate iclearly n the Aburi contract. On return when these lack of clarity became apparent the accord was interpreted out of intent causing further mistrust and cold relations.

14. Ojukwu became more suspicious and agitated that the other side is not honoring the agreements. He concluded that if the contract could not be honored then he would take his people by force out of Nigeria....he started campaigning for Biafra.

15. Gowon responded by divesting the Eastern region and breaking Ojukwu's hold-choke on the non-ibos in the East.

16. Ojukwu declared sovereingty of Biafra.

17. Biafra marched into non-ibo territories and planted Biafran flags, claiming them as part of his domain.

Was Ojukwu fighting an ideological war or was this a territorial war? As many times as Ive asked this question ibos dodge it. I am not sure that any ibo person can clearly define their cause in this war. It is very important to have a definition for it.
Brain-dead monkey, spare us this your idiotic long sermon here. Fool, tell me at what time Biafra claimed non Biafran territories as Biafran land. Tell us or show us Biafran flag flying outside Biafra. Why is that you jobless freaks has nothing to do rather than bigotry every day.

wolems: Do you know that some myopic individuals believe that if you are not hausa, yoruba or igbo you dont have a place in Nigeria? That is why they coined wazobia just to tie Nigeria within their ambits. this is an aberration. I pity such persons. they have forgotten that the British decided to divide Nigeria into regions (East, West North and MiddleBelt) just for convenience sake. They did not really know that Nigeria was a multi-ethnic country. This mentality of three major ethnic groups have eaten deep into the consciousness of some half-baked intellectually-minded citizens to the extend that they tend to forget that we have over over 250 ethnic groups and languages. Am sure you people are aware that census in this country has been politicized. Please live lets live.
Monkey, why do you want to use this thread to create attention. Why can't you and your family relocate to Benin?. Because xyz claims Benin Origin, now you have to do the same, what an identity fool you are. How about the Ikwerre people who trace their origin from Aro, Ngwa, Ndoki and most parts of Igboland.
The jews who migrated to America, Russia, Poland, Iran etc still speak Hebrew. In your own case, tell me how many Ikwerre people who speak Bini or bear Bini names.
Asx-licking monkey, do you want to tell me it was only one man who left Benin to settle in Ikwereland that resulted in his language change.
Get a life and leave Igbo people a lone, big fool. You may not be Igbo but you have to respect the wishes of most Ikwerres who identify as Igbo.
I hope this settles in your tiny skull, idiott.
Billionaire,

Lagos had been as Yoruba as Yoruba can be Lagos and as far back into the Awori foothold.

The ownership of property by ibos in territories outside of iboland is an issue for ibos to struggle with....thats not Yoruba headache if you want to buy land and erect mansions in the entire Lekki peninsula while we all remain a country. It will be our headache when we no longer cohabit under the same sovereingty as to what to do with these properties and the ownership. Until that time....we dont care. The buildings cannot walk. ..Itherefore their owners are under a bind to the land on which the property stand. I will halt on that topic.

How do you know who owns Lagos? Simply look in the elite group and the ruling class as well the culture.

All the Obas and Chiefs are Yoruba
All the elected officials are Yoruba
All the LGAs are Yoruba names
Yoruba is the only Nigerian tongue used in House of Assembly
All the wards registered with the council of Obas are Yoruba

....i dont know how else to tell you that whether you like it or not, each ibo man that buys land and build property in Lagos is indirectly signing a committment to develop and contribute to Yoruba progress.
All the obas and chiefs are not yoruba. Stop lying. A lot of them are not yorubas but Egun ethnic nation.
Not all elected officials are Yoruba.
Everything you wrote here is rubbish.

illicit: The killing of Brigadier Ademulegun's pregnant wife by led to the suspicion among Yoruba and Hausa that the coupist were common criminals rather than Nationalistic patriots. Brigadier Ademulegun was a Yoruba officer. The premier of the Northern region was killed, The premier of the West was killed, but the premier of the Eastern region where most of the plotters were from was forgotten. On the Federal level the Prime Minister was killed, the Finance Minister the number 3 man was killed but the number 2 man who "coincidentally" happened to be from the same region as the plotters "escaped the killing"
frm wikipedia
