People who havent gotten common Waec result will be forming English teacher. |
We thank God no life was lost. I am pretty sure it was as a result of the road neglected by this dead administration. |
BVN was strictly a PDP initiative and has nothing to do with the dead APC. |
What kind of government is this! Instead of focusing on the achievements they are busy intimidating and circulating fake news about Atiku. This is a clear indication that the Buhari led government has nothing to offer Nigerians. They should please come and be going come 2019. Atiku is the man to take Nigeria back to her glory days. |
Corruption has been the backbone of the Buhari led government . Since the inception of this government, Nigerians have witnessed enormous financial recklessness in all areas of government. It is a pity Buhari was elected into power, but i believe in 2019 Atiku will restore hope back to Nigerians. |
Must everything be politically motivated. Ever since Atiku was in APC and has been returning back into the country, was he ever subjected to such treatment!! |
Mr Adam is a known thief, who during his time as Edo state governor robbed the State dry. The relevant authorities should arrest him once he steps foot into the country. |
Buhari and the apc are not after the revamping of our economy, rather they are after depleting our collective wealth. 2019 Nigerians want the apc gone from government. |
What else can you expect from a serial looter, he will surely support his fellow partner in crime. Tinubu endorsed Adams knowing fully fell of his criminal records. Nigerians are feed up with the Buhari and the apc. |
Each bombshell released by Lia and the APC always out passes the previous bombshell. 2019 should come fast, so this dead administration can pack and leave for Atiku. |
As VP, Atiku has shown capacity in leadership position. His tenure brought about changes that positively impacted the lives of Nigerian. Most of his accomplishments as VP is what we are still enjoying till date. If given the chance to serve as president of Nigeria, I believe Atiku will make Nigeria work again. |
In all honestly, Nigerian need to reflect on how things got this bad. In 2015 we were all deceived by a man who we thought could bring about the desired change we deserve, but instead we became more hungry, price of goods went up, pump price increased, agriculture went down the drain, power worse than before, bandits operating freely, the list is endless. Atiku/Obi is the best option we have in achieving a better Nigeria. |
Nigerians are fully aware that it is the APC and its officials that literally fouled our media space by deliberately entrenching falsehood, fabrications, uncouth language and abuses as “acceptable’ modes of engagement, particularly in the social media. Come 2019 we bring an end to the Buhari led government because they are a total failure. |
2019: Should Buhari Still Contest? By Prof. Chris Nwaokobia Jnr. If I were Buhari, I would just don't border contesting the next election because I will be embarrassed based on his fake WAEC result. * First there was no Class 6 in 1962. * Secondly, woodwork and health science were not offered in 1962. * Thirdly, he couldn't have made A3 in History. * Fourthly, this is an SSCE result sheet and not a British Cambridge result sheet. * Fifthly, Ministry of Education, Katsina State is not an examination body and cannot issue exam result. * Cambridge had asked Buhari to apply for a copy of his result sheet if any. Why has Buhari refused to apply for a copy? There is none. * Sixth, Muhamed and Muhammad are not the same person. Therefore, even if INEC awards him all the votes of 2019, he still stand disqualified because he forged his certificate. The world is watching and also taking notes. Nigerians should speak up now or shut up in international fora. I think Buhari should surrender himself for trial just as Fayose did. Forgery is corruption. Lying under oath is perjury. He has no right to speak about fighting corruption when he is wearing the corruption agbada. |
You and Buhari are in the business of making the lives of Nigerians a living hell. Since the inception of this government nothing tangible has been done to ease the sufferings of Nigerians. |
Atitulating Obidiently will surely bring about the desired changes Nigerians dream off. |
APC is a time bomb about to explode. |
Almost four years of nothing from this Buhari led government, Nigerians cannot afford another error of this magnitude. |
Under this Buhari led government, killing of innocent Nigerians is the order of the day. Nigerians must vote out this lawless government. |
I HAVE tried to withhold myself from writing on the above subject particularly as it affects the incumbent president, Muhammadu Buhari, GCFR. But I couldn't, as a matter of fact, people who are not well informed about this subject must be well educated otherwise, they continue talking about something they don't know what the real issues are. There's a saying that, " who is not imformed is deformed ". It is against the above introduction that I like to lend my voice in putting the records straight. Certificate qualification especially WASSC or its equivalent as is required by law is well spelt out in the 1999 Constitution Of The Federal Republic OF Nigeria As Amended. Section 131 talks about general qualification for election to the office of President, but, paragraph (d) of section 131 shallowly deals with certificate qualification, where it specifically mentions that " HE HAS TO BE EDUCATED UP TO AT LEAST SCHOOL CERTIFICATE LEVEL OR ITS EQUIVALENT". But, Part IV: Interpretation, Citation and Commencement precisely section 318, " School certificate or its equivalent " means - (a) a Secondary School Certificate or its equivalent, or Grade ll Teacher's Certifiacte, the City and Guilds Certificate; or (b) education up to Secondary School Certifiacte level; or (c) Primary Six School Leaving Certificate or its equivalent and -- (i) service in the public or private sector in the Federation in any capacity acceptable to the Independent National Electoral Commission for a minimum of ten years, and (ii) attendance at courses and training in such institutions as may be acceptable to the Independed National Electoral Commission for periods up to a minimum of one year, and (iii) the ability to read, write, understand and communicate in the English language to the satisfaction of the Independent National Electoral Commission; and (d) any other qualification acceptable by the Independent National Electoral Commission." Going by the explanations given by the above sections of our constitution, I want to believe that my readers and followers of Nigerian origin are now fully aware that qualification for election to the office of President is not by provision of a School Certificate only, the phrase " or its equivalent " talks about : 1. someone that worked for a recognised institution by INEC is qualified, 2. someone who in the course of his work was trained for a period up to one year is qualified, 3. someone who has FSLC is qualified, 4. someone who is able to read, write, understand and communicate in English language is qualified, and 5. someone who is certified by INEC is qualified. In other words, certificate qualification taking about WASSCE for example without factoring the phrase "or its equivalent" will make anyone making this an issue look and appear ignorant of the constitutional requirement on certificate qualification. But my worry is that, even those who ought to know better and teach others claim ignorant of these sections of our constitution by writing and posting baseless arguments. With reference to the case of President Muhammadu Buhari, where anyone informed or uninformed, would talk about his unqualification, is where he presented a fake certificate, but where he submitted an affidavit and as a matter of fact, served in a prestigious institution like the Nigerian Army where he rose in rank to a Major General I don't think anyone on earth can doubt if he has the qualifications to stand for election in Nigeria. This is a man that attended overseas courses time and again and again. If Muhammadu Buhari got enlisted into the Nigerian Army in 1963 and retired in 1985, suffice to say that Buhari worked for more ten years as required by our constitution. By this time in 2014, tongues wagged especially on paper qualification of Muhammadu Buhari but he won the election. I recall the mood then, people like FFK and few others were bent on talking about certificate as if it was an issue. Today, people have left the real of governance - projects delivery and are busy talking about what the emergence of Buhari as President has put to rest. Besides, is our problem certificate or ability to perform a task? Go to our institutions of higher learning you will find millions with PhDs in Petroleum Engineering and we still depend on the Western world to explore and exploit our mineral resources. Refining the mineral resources has able unattainable for decades. For those that care to hear, only the Independent National Electoral Commission can disqualify a candidate on the ground of certificate except on the ground of forgery, irrexpective of the office unless we amend the constitution today. |
No right thinking Nigerian will ever vote for Buhari again. The past three year has been characterized by hunger, killings and insecurity. |
They haven't seen anything yet. Buhari and anyhting Buhari is a scam |
This is just another plot by the buhari led government to loot the country dry. Only Nigerian can save us from Buhari come 2019 |
It is wrong to blame the media, because honestly speaking one cant not talk about what is not seen. Buhari's tenure as president has produced nothing tangible for the media to comment on. Even with the fight agiainst corruption we are yet to see any known looter sent to prison. |
The project was initiated and paid for by the PDP. Buhari only just commisiioned it. |
From the events of the past three years, it is obvious Buhari has lost all credibility and will surely lose come 2019. He should be campaigning based on his achievements, but instead he is busy making fresh promises if re-elected. |
Even Adeleke was compelled to provide his WAEC certificate, so I just wonder why Buhari should be an exception. It is a pity we are in a country where graduates are expected to provide all cerificates including primary school, but to be a president you dont even need WAEC. I swear! Juju dey hold Nigeria. Which military can challenge him? grin He had 4 years to do the bloody WAEC! We are told HE STILL FAILED 4 TIMES! Even WAEC office don taya forram. |
The same reason apc castigated the pdp, now we are seeing the same emerging from the Buhari lead government. So where is the integrity in Mr Buhari. The APC is an evil that should eradicated from our political atmosphere. |
A friend once told me that Buhari is the father of romantic corruption. The past three years we are yet to see any corrupt official jailed. |
