From what I saw they’re on S3046 series and a number of PPR today was 21-15 dec Maypearl: I noticed that too. And was literally trying to figure out the pattern with the application numbers today. It won’t hurt for us to track ours. Who knows we could figure out a pattern. |

I noticed they share application number (not the full thing just the first 6 digits) in one of the Indian groups to help keep track of processing sequence and I was wondering if we could do the same here.
Following theirs might not give much insights since it’s a different country/office.
What do you guys think? |

Ketima: Hello My Abuja people,
Please how can one locate VFS office at central business district from Road Safety Estate, Lokogoma? Someone has Biometrics to meet up but not a resident of Abuja and thus don't know her whereabouts?
Feedbacks will highly be appropriated.
Thanks It’ll be best to use uber/bolt so she won’t get lost. The cab will take her there easily. |

Osemigho: About your sponsor funds, is it only 6.5 million naira? How much in your sponsor's personal account? Did your sponsor pay your part or full tuition and or transfer money into your account?
My knowledge may be outdated, but I think 6.5 million naira, without scholarship or tuition payment, is too small for canada student visa application. I also think third-party sponsor need to make more financial commitments through fund transfer and or tuition payment.
After you cross your Ts and dot your Is, you still need element of grace for the process. All the best. We paid tuition for the first semester (8k) He didn't transfer any funds to my account as it was in a fixed deposit account. |

I just received a refusal yesterday. I applied on June 2nd Medicals was done on June 3rd and updated to pass on June 11 Biometrics was done on June 4th and updated the same day. Eligibility started on 15th September. BVL and Refusal letter December 1st.
My reason for refusal was personal assets and financial status. I used a 3rd party sponsor (Brother-in-law) I'm pretty sure I proved our relationship well enough. I added marriage certificates and pictures from years ago and recently. I also work in one of his companies.
I presented his fixed deposit account with 6.5M, His bank statements, my personal bank statement with about 1k USD for flight and stuff, and receipts of my first-semester school fees. I also presented his business reg documents, a notarized letter of sponsorship, tax clearance, invoices, and his passport. I suppose the VO was concerned about the availability of funds. My sponsor's dependant at the time was my sister (who also has a job)
I intend to reapply as soon as possible. I had ordered for my GCMS on the 23rd of November already but considering how long it takes these days I think I'll just go ahead and reapply before receiving it.
I've started classes online and my next semester will also be done online.
What I intend to do next
- I'll pay the next semester fees (It's a PGC) so I have one more semester and Co-op - Transfer my living expenses to a GIC account - Include the tenancy agreements for the 2 Airbnb's I co-own and also the financial records for it (I started the business after applying the first time) - I included the documents for the farm I co-own with my siblings the previous time but I suppose it wasn't enough.
Right now, I need some help/ direction on how to open a GIC. - Can I send the money from my naira account using form A? - Has anyone used GTB for form A recently and how long did it take? - What is the general procedure for opening a GIC - Would I still need to include my sponsor's statements since all the money has been transferred to me as his balance wouldn't be that much after? Any answers to these would be greatly appreciated!
I got all the information for my application on here and it was all incredibly helpful. Reading timelines, landing gists and PPR success stories was also really helpful during the long wait so thanks to everyone that has shared and continues to share. |

Readytowear: Morning house This is my second application refused yesterday. The reason was personal assets I already paid my fees and money in my sponsors account with 20million in usd Although I am HIV positive and I told them during medicals altho I am almost undetectable and healthy. I want to apply for gcsm to know if that's the reason. Plz gurus in the house If that’s the reason I doubt it would be in your gcms notes because it’s rather discriminatory and you could take legal action against them. You should still order your notes to find out why you were rejected though. |

Abimbola15: oh wow, been trying to call them but none of their lines go through. You can also try sending them an email. If you don’t have a contact there going there yourself might be tricky because the security were being very unhelpful on that day and not letting the lady go in. |

They advised her call the number on their website and explain your situation to Customer Care to see if you can get an earlier booking. |

Oyalfares: Good afternoon, can Police character certificate be done for 17 years old and how can this be done in Abuja. Thank you. P.S I have clicked on the link at the beginning of the thread, but the information is not there. I don’t know about the age part but you go to that zonal police office opposite zone 3 shopping complex and enter the main building. Tell them what you want at the counter and they’ll take you to the man’s office. |

ritzzybaron: Hello All, hope we are having a good day?
There is nothing I have not done to resize my PDF. I’ve been on this since yesterday.
Please how did you guys compress your LOE and your documents? Nothing seems to work. Ilovepdf, smallpdf, pdfcompressor. Started with saving word to pdf, this reduced it.... but the struggle is to get to 4mb. I’m currently at 10mb.
I’ve taken out some documents too.
Please if anyone knows how I can solve this “problem”, please let me know as my tired is tired.
Thank you If you know someone that has the paid version of Adobe get them to optimize and resize it from there. That’s what I used and I got to 3MB and all documents were very clear |

Someone should help me on the docs I need and how to apply for the study visa...thanks in anticipation Your funds are refundable as long as you submit a reason why you can’t continue the program such as an unsuccessful visa application. There’s more information on their refund policies on their website. |

Good afternoon gurus..
Please I have a couple of questions surrounding POF. 1. If someone was to transfer the entire one year tuition and living expenses to your account, can it still be tagged a “gift” or would it seem suspicious? Would they also still need to submit their bank statement?
2. If your sponsor is retired, but has a decent pension what would you upload to replace employment letter/employment documents.
Looking forward to helpful responses! Thank you |

Frankrobbn1: What they meant by high school transcripts is the online print out of your WAEC result and scratch card. Provide them these documents and you will be granted admission by the institution.
It will end in praise Thank you! I don’t think I have the scratch card I used to print my waec. Will I need to print a new one? |

Is it possible to use WAEC/NECO instead?
Thanks! |

shupy: 1. Yes, it can 2. The longer, the better, but that's not always the case for some people who got their student permit. There are other factors the officer is going to look at depending on who is sponsoring. The officer just needs to be convinced you will genuinely have access to the fund . Okay thanks. My cousin lives in CA and though he won’t be sponsoring the whole tuition he offered to pay the first term (better exchange rate and all) I’ll be sponsoring myself, still putting together the funds but I saw somewhere that it has to have been in the account for like 4 months or so. I doubt that’ll be possible for me as I’m gunning for September/fall term but will still try. |
