FamilyWhy Are Women Stingy? by niceface(op): 7:09am On Mar 31, 2018
Women no doubt add colours to our world but I have observed that most of them are stingy while some are even extra extra stingy. No matter how rich or comfortable they are, they won't be as generous as men. It's very rare for women to make huge donations at events but men will always represent. This unique attribute of women has kept me thinking, why are they stingy?

Christianity EtcPastor Enenche Releases New Year 2018 Prophecies by niceface(op): 11:20am On Jan 01, 2018
Popular Nigerian pastor, Dr Paul Enenche, has released the prophecies for 2018 as Nigerians are ushered into the new year.

Dr Paul Enenche, the Senior Pastor, Dunamis International Gospel Centre (DIGC), Abuja, has released 2018 prophecies declaring the New Year as the year of open doors.

According to The Nation, Dr Enenche predicted during the Cross Over Night service in Abuja that the year would mark a new beginning for the nation and its people as well as supernatural opening of new opportunities.

He added that 2018 would also be a year that God would release severe judgment upon the wicked and those holding the country to ransom.

According to him, it is a season that God shall do what he wants irrespective of what men want to restore the years of lost that the country has experienced.

“There shall be drastic shift in dimension in all realms in an unpredictable manner,’’ the cleric said.

On his part, Special Apostle Funsho Oshoro, the Chairman, Cherubim and Seraphim Movement, Abuja District Headquarters, said in his message that Nigerians should be upright in all they do.

Oshoro called on Nigerians to transform themselves in the year 2018, adding that the Federal Government will not be able to do it alone.

However, he admonished Nigerians to be politically and spiritually matured in all they do.

According to him, those that are in authority should do it well because if they do it right, automatically the Lord will see them through the year 2018.

“There is a lot of blessings but we must do it right with God; we must know him; we must plan and set a goal for ourselves for that is what we desire from God.

Chuvano @official_chuvano is a young musical talent from the Southern part of Nigeria who recently shared a touching story of how he completed his University education by secretly travelling out of campus on weekends to earn a living at distant markets, through wheelbarrow pushing.

This story got so many people very emotional and finally earned the young lad a multi million naira record contract with a South African and Nigerian based Record label. @handsum_recordz (Handsum Recordz)

Further chats with Chuvano revealed that, he was discovered at a roadside show where he performed a tune that caught the attention of the CEO of "HANDSUM RECORDZ" who was lodged at a nearby hotel.

Besides his great and amazing talent, the story of how the young boy had gone through his University education on stipends realized from his secret job of pushing people's items around markets in rented wheelbarrows, was also a major reason why he was offered the multi million record Deal.

The label has also revealed that Chuvano's first official single will drop soonest, and he will be collaborating with some A' list arts within the first few months of his contract.

In addition to the multi million naira record deal, is a magnificent duplex for the super comfort of the former wheelbarrow pusher.

One time a wheelbarrow pusher is now a millionaire musician. God has picked his call finally.

Christianity EtcCan A True Christian Drink Alcohol? by niceface(op): 9:45am On Dec 12, 2017
When a European Airline was initially launched, an educated Christian gentleman was traveling in the first class section.

An air hostess approached him with a complimentary drink, this was an alcoholic drink, but the man politely refused.

The air hostess returned but this time brought the drink on a platter, designed to appeal and impress. However, the Christian man again politely refused, explaining he doesn't drink alcohol.

The air hostess was concerned and informed the manager. The manager approached the man with another platter, now designed with flowers. He questioned, “Is there something wrong with our service? Please enjoy the drink, it is a complimentary offer.”

The man replied, “I am a Christian and I do not drink alcohol? The manager still insisted that the man take the drink. Then, the Christian proposed that the manager should give the drink to the pilot first. The manager stated, “How can the pilot drink alcohol, he’s on duty! And if he drinks there are all chances for the plane to crash”.

The Christian passenger with tears in his eyes, replied, “I am a Christian and I am ALWAYS on duty in order to protect my FAITH and if I Drink Alcohol I will crash my whole life here and hereafter. I AM 100% ON DUTY!"

Maybe yours might not be an alcohol, it may be tempting you for *sex* as it was done to *Joseph*, battling with how to control your *anger*, profane and vain *babblings*, your *dressing* , your *attitude* towards people and finally not sharing the *Word*.

Do you know that souls are dying because of those reckless behaviours of ours?

CHRISTIANS ARE 100% ON DUTY

PhonesIMPORTANT Tip For Whatsapp Users by niceface(op): 4:20pm On Jun 25, 2017
Whatsapp has become an indispensable mobile application for most phone users. It's one of the easiest and secured means of interacting with friends, family and other people. It is secured and safe because the messages are encrypted end to end by default. This simply means that no one can read your chats from another end, not even Whatsapp staff members. However, this mobile application usually consumes a lot of phone memories and this may cause phone lagging or slow processing speed.
One way to solve this problem is to always clear your messages/chats once in two weeks. There's no doubt that there maybe some important messages or chats that you will like to keep on your phone for reference purposes.
Here is a very useful tip that will help you to retain those 'important' messages/chats while clearing your chats;

1. Always mark the important message/chat as your favorites whenever you receive them. To do this, (a) long-press on the message/chat for few seconds or select the message/chat and press menu (b) Touch/Select the star-shaped ⭐️icon on the pop up menu
2. To clear your messages/chats with a particular contact; (a) Touch /Select the contact from your Whatsapp (b) Touch/Select the contact's name/phone number (c) Scroll down and Touch/Select ' Clear Chat' (d) Touch/Select ' Delete all except starred'

Following the steps above will ensure that you do not lose your favorite/important messages and chats.

PoliticsWhy I Disagree With The Popular Saying 'it's Not Easy To Be A Leader' by niceface(op): 4:36pm On Jun 24, 2017
The saying 'it's not easy to be a leader' or 'uneasy lies the head that wears the crown' is very popular among the black race. After ruminating on this popular saying, I ask myself the 'big' question, if it's not easy to be a leader, why are people willing to do anything just to secure any leadership position. Little wonder why those in positions of authority are not always willing to relinquish power at the end of their tenure. This selfish attitude is more pronounced among the African leaders, some even pass the baton to their offsprings or close relatives when they are no longer able to cope with the demands of the office due to advanced age.

Leadership is supposed to be about service delivery and sacrifices to the subjects so as to further enhance the trust and beliefs of those who supported such positions. Leaders are supposed to help themselves and others to do the right things. They are expected to set direction, build an inspiring vision, and create something new. Leadership is about mapping out where you need to go to "win" as a team, an organization, state or even nation. I see leadership as being dynamic, selfless, considerate, sincere, innovative. A leader should be able to create an inspiring vision of the future.

Obviously there are challenges associated with leadership positions but those who seek those positions should have prepared their minds for the onerous tasks of pioneering such affairs because the more relevant you are, the more restless you become. It's needless to complain of cold when you go into a river.

There's no doubt that getting to any position of leadership in Africa is usually not an easy task because oftentimes, those in positions will not quit without a fight and even when they fail, they hardly give up.

In this regard, saying it's not easy to be a leader will provide an excuse for failure and also serve as discouragement to those who may want to aspire for those leadership positions. There's no gain without pain, if one wants to be seen as a leader and also enjoy the benefits of such position, he/she should be able to cope with the challenges that may come.

Finally, it's better to reframe this common saying 'it's not easy to be a leader' to 'it's not easy to become a leader' as this will reflect the reality on ground as it concerns leadership in the African continent.

Christianity EtcUrgent Need For Religious Tolerance In Nigeria by niceface(op):
The need for religious tolerance cannot be over stretched. Most of the killings done in the name of religion are as a result of lack of religious tolerance. For instance if some persons decided to provoke you by praying in front of your shop or choose to preach near your prayer house and you ignore them rather than confronting them, they may eventually get tired and change their mind. In the end your attitude can touch their hearts and you might become friends. We mortals should not fight for the immortal God.

In the holy books, God after given you the commission to go and preach the gospel told you to expect persecution and tribulations, but that the battle is not yours but His.
Most of you are in your current faith/religion because you were born into it, so you shouldn't crucify others who were also 'victims' by birth.

Many people only grew up to realize the 'complexity' of the religion they inherited but can hardly do anything about it. Overtime, only very few had the courage to filter the traditional methods of doing things in their inherited religion. This has given birth to divisions in the two popular religions. In Christian religion for instance, there are several denominations worldwide. So also is Islam religion, there are different factions like ISIS, Boko Haram, Sheikh, etc.
Human choices vary because of your unique genes, so even if you were to choose your religion, individual choices will definitely differ.

To this end, tolerance is the only potent medicine for religious provocation. You need to learn to tolerate people's excesses when it comes to religion. You cannot win someone's heart by being forceful and violent but by showing love and understanding. Remember you were first human before you realize there's a religion. Needless to mention that no one can fight for God because He is the almighty.

Finally, if you cannot show love and care to your fellow being how then do you claim to love God whom you do not see. Undoubtedly, the world will be a better place if you put aside religious and ethnic differences and relate with one another as humans because it is an established fact that terrorism has no religion.

I don't believe you have an iPhone, maybe you are one of those poor guys who buy cloned ipnones running Android KitKat . If you are truly using iOS, you will know it is impossible . Though , I don't know if there is a special app to download for that. To delete multiple contacts from an ipnoe , u need a special app for the work around , otherwise ,u are left with deleting the contacts one after the other . My phone is running iOS 9.3. you can't tell me to do Google search to know the difference between an iPhone and a Samsung , BECAUSE, I have them both and I am a banker cum businessman. I know what I am saying and what I am doing . The best os for business is the defunct BB10 , it died because bb cane late with it hence lack of app support .

For example, Android doesn't compress attachment by default, so, you are to download certain app to do so. Meanwhile , in BB10, the compression of attachment size is inherent in the system . When it comes to technology, I don't think you can really argue with me. If actually Yoh use an iPhone, may be you are one of those who buy big phones just to show off without doing anything meaningful with it. As for me, my phones are my major tools. I hardly use my laptop . If there is anything like inputting figures in excel ,my secretary can do that with the PC and send to my email where I will view and edit on my phone -my trusted galaxy note. Oh boy stop telling me what I know .
iPhone is not made for dull brains, it's an interactive phone that's why it's called iPhone. You can save any downloaded documents in Document App or iBook, where you can attach it to ur email or chats. Only smart guys use iPhone because it's durable and reliable.

The plane's twisted blue metal panelling, marked with EgyptAir branding, as well as items of clothing and yellow lift jackets have been recovered from the sea, where investigators continue to search the wreckage.

The cause of the crash that killed all 66 on board remains unclear but smoke alarms were sounding for almost three minutes before it began its rapid descent, according to the Aircraft Communications Addressing and Reporting System (ACARS) data.

Egyptian media have also reported that divers have found the blackbox between close to the crash site. The blackbox could provide vital clues into what caused the plane to crash just as it entered Egyptian airspace on its journey to Cairo.

FamilyMan, 22 Kills And Buries Dad In Shallow Grave by niceface(op): 10:44am On May 11, 2016
There was confusion recently in Umuajani village, Umudioka in Dunukofia Local Government Area of Anambra State when one of its sons, 60-year-old Charles Maduekwe, who was declared missing for about three weeks, was discovered to have been killed by his own son and only child, Emeka, and buried in a shallow pit.

The accused son, a self-acclaimed pastor, who operates a chapel in his father’s house when apprehended by his kinsmen confessed that he committed the abomination, saying that he did it because his late father was in the habit of placing curses on him.

Before the crime was exposed, the young man was plying his trade in a prayer house and respected as a pastor in the area but all these changed as the allegation of his killing his own father came to the
open.

The abomination was discovered when for over two weeks the kinsmen of the late Maduekwe could not see him at events in the village and inquired from his son, who told them that he travelled.

One of the kinsmen said:

“When we asked him again, he said he travelled but when you looked at him ,you would know very well that he was lying. His mouth was shaking and he actually betrayed his innocence. We moved to his father’s house and there we saw some fresh sand covered with leaves and we asked him what he did there, he said he dug pit toilet there but his father said he should close it and he did so.
“People became suspicious and we decided to unearth the pit and at a level confusion came in and many said there was nothing there but one of us said no we should continue that he perceived some odour and they continued and in a short time the foot of the man was seen and the boy wanted to run but the youths stopped him and pounced on him.
“He confessed that he killed his father and put him into the pit, he also said that the pit took him four days to dig and that he killed him because he cursed him.”The decomposing body of the late Maduekwe was later exhumed and reburied after the people performed some traditional rituals and cleansed the land.

However, Emeka was rescued from the irate youths of the community who wanted to lynch him and handed over to the police.

One of those who spoke to Oriental News on condition of anonymity said:

“I interviewed the boy myself with my phone, I asked him; why did you kill your dad, what did he do that you killed him? He said his father used to curse him. I asked him, how long it took him to dig the pit and he said it took him four days.”On his personal bitter experience with Emeka some months back, he said:

“I lost my car in Lagos, my car broke down and I parked it in one filling station, it was a tyre problem. I went to the house to collect money and buy tyre but by the time I returned to the place I did not see my car again. The security people I paid said they did not know who took my car away. I called the village and informed them of what happened to me and some people advised my family to go to the young man (Emeka) that he is a seer that he would tell them what happened.
“Surprisingly, when I called again they told me that the boy said I was the one that sold my car. They invited him to my house and he said that as he was talking to them then, I was in a club enjoying with women. I got annoyed and after finishing with reports and documentations with the police, I came back home from Lagos.
“I told them that I wanted to go and see the pastor that said I sold my car, but luckily after two days I returned, he came to my house and my wife gave me sign that, that is the pastor. He came into my sitting room and immediately lay flat on the floor begging me to forgive him, that he was the pastor that gave the message, but that on returning to his house after the message, the spirit he worked with started flogging him and asked him to go back and plead for mercy, as his message was false, and that was why he came to plead for forgiveness
“But already he had caused a lot of problems in my family. He told my wife many things, including that I was not her real husband, that my wife should go and look for her real husband. Because of the kind of person I am I said go, you said those things in the presence of many people who are not here now that you are pleading for forgiveness. I said go if God forgives you fine, if not you are responsible for what you have said, I have forgiven you for the falsehood against me and I left it at that. I am surprised that people are saying he sees vision; in my case he was a false prophet and what is happening now has confirmed my stand that he is not a real pastor.
“This same boy when he was in school at St. Marys Ifitedunu, he was reported to have done so many things including magic. In a case he was said to have through magic caused disappearance of his classmate’s penis and after he was beaten and threatened he made the penis return to its position. There are also stories linking him to homosexuality, and all these are not attributes of a true pastor.”A classmate of Emeka at St Marys Ifitedunu who also pleaded anonymity confirmed a story of the missing penis, noting that the young man caused a lot of havoc in their school that brought punishment to them then.

In the two rooms which he used for his business, all manner of native doctor items, rosary, Virgin Mary picture, various colours of candles, people’s pictures and names were found, he said.
