Edo is 100% PDP, yet in the presidential elections, even as the ruling party at the centre and the huge money they threw around, it got less than 60% percent of votes. In the state assembly elections, it got about 15% of assembly members. You guys are just dreaming.

I don't see how this is the case. ..do a simple probability test if you're math inclined and see how many times the 'North' will come up b4 your own familiar tribe. The North is the largest group in Nigeria (19 states to 17 states) but also arguably the most diverse people. Oga, I understand your point, but the fact is, since the president assumed power, apart from the ministerial appointments, every other appointment, whether statutory or political appointments are tilted to the north, with pockets of appointments for the South. It is really disturbing to me, as a chronic supporter of the president.

Oshiomole was not a local champion in the scheme of things. Despite the avalanche of high ranking members of PDP members like BOT chair, Anenih, Dokpesi, Minister of Works, former Chief of Staff, Tom Ikimi, etc in Edo state, he got over 40% of votes for the APC in the presidential elections, but Rivers state got less than 5%. What are you saying? And remember, Oshiomhole is not owing Edo workers a dime. He has paid them up to date and even paid all the arrears brought forward from the previous administrations.
