What is really happening with Dangote trucks killings innocent Nigerians every time? If it is not Dangote truck killing motorists on roads, it will be soldiers guarding Dangote factories killing civilians as it happened in Benue State. Can these incessant accidents and killings by Dangote trucks and agents as be a result of carelessness on the part of the drivers or there is something there which the eyes cannot see? Time will tell |
ukukaegbu: You won your match and they still question you for match fixing. But one of the players have confessed to that fact, stating yhat he did what the club asked him to do |
Nigerian striker, Ike Uche and his team mates have been mentioned in a match-fixing scandal, according to Spanish newspaper El Mundo. Uche’s club then Real Zaragoza beat Levante 2-1 on the final day of the 2010/11 season to avoid relegation, while Levante and Deportivo La Coruna were demoted as a result. Atletico Madrid captain Gabi, who scored Zaragoza’s two goals on that fateful day, confessed to a judge Thursday he was aware the match was fixed. “I just did what the club asked me to do,” the 29-year-old midfielder simply said in court, according to El Mundo. It is suspected that Levante players were paid to lose the match. And the spotlight of this trial has fallen on Agapito Iglesias, the then owner of Zaragoza, Leonardo Ponzio, Leo Franco and Uche, according to El Mundo. The prosecutor wants to question at least 20 players in this match-fixing trial. Source: Vanguard

Why is Coach Keshi portraying himself as bad manager? If he is not at war with Osaze today, it will be with Ik Uche, if its not Ike Uche, it is with Mba, yet his blunders continue, resulting in lacklustre team and poor results. Is he really confused? |

Pls, my wife is nursing 4 months old baby and just after about 3 months of giving birth, we had unprotected intimate relation and a month later, she notices signs of pregnancy. What do we do, as we can't afford to keep the pregancy because our baby is ust too young for her mother to begin another process of giving birth, which as we have timed, may become due when this present is barely a year old? She has tried to see some doctors, but the advice is for her to keep pregnancy and this she finds difficult to do. Pls, I need your advice, what do we do? |

My choice of a Hero: The poor Nigerian child, who would toil in the hardship and uncertainty of the Nigerian environment, brace all odds to become an adult, and even in face of lack of care from the leadership, strives to become somebody in the society. Siasia is more technically sound with a better football charisma. Keshi has only been lucky, now no more luck, things are astray for him |
Mogidi: Last time GEJ visited the Oba he was kept waiting, my point is the Oba has seen the writing on the wall. Edo is unanimously going PDP and the Oba has no option than to follow. How do you reason? That the Oba has no option than to follow? Are you a Nigerian, an Edo or do you know how Edo works politically or you are just commenting as spectator? Oba is not an attention seeking Monarch, the Oba fears no one (ask the Abachas and Igbenedions). He does what so ever he wishes is right at any particular point in time. |

Don't forget my Oba is highly learned fellow. |
Mogidi: Same Oba that welcomed GEJ last time with disdain and disrespect. That Oba welcomed President Jonathan with a royal recognition does not mean a vote of confidence on Jonathan and a despise for the APC government in state. It is a tradition and conventional of a traditional ruler to accord recognition to all his loyal subjects and guests of which President Jonathan (a president of the country for that matter) is one. Secondly, that Oshiomole is a performing Governor is not over hyped or exagerrated, but an obvious and evidential fact, which is witnessed across the state and across all sectors. Please be reminded that Oshiomole may not be good at politicking, which is not what Edo people want, but he is a performer and delivers dividends by way of infrastructures to the people, which is what Edo people want. If any one or politician is leaving APC to another party not on the basis of non performance by the Governor, but just for petish and selfish political reasons, let them 'go and die'. Bye bye to jati jati. |

The Oba of Benin, Omo N’Oba Erediauwa, on Saturday, in Benin, presented Red Egbeigbe, the highest Benin traditional attire to President Goodluck Jonathan. Red Egbeigbe is the royal attire wore only by Benin prince and princess on rare occasion like marriages. Erediauwa presented the royal attire to Jonathan when he paid a courtesy visit to the monarch in his palace in Benin City. Presenting the attire, the traditional ruler said that he often see the president in dark-coloured attire. Erediauwa congratulated the president for getting his party’s endorsement for second term. Earlier, the president had told the monarch that he was in Benin to attend the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) South-South sensitisation and unity rally. President Jonathan who thanked the traditional ruler for the gift, promised to return to the palace when the campaign for his re-election begins. (NAN) |
The Golden Eaglets of Nigeria, today, bounced back from a 1-2 controversial loss in Lebriville, Gabon, to record an emphatic 5-0 win over the Gabonese side. The said result means that the Eaglets have advanced to the next round on a 6-2 aggregate. It could be recalled that the Nigerians were denied entry into the Gabonese capital, venue of the first leg of the qualifier as a result of Ebola fear by the home team. By the time they allowed the Nigerians entry, it was too late for the Eaglets to settle down properly for the match, hence, the Gabonese side won under controversial decisions by the referee. This amazing win in Calabar today, has proved that the Eaglets are worthy world champions, whose 28 goals in about 8 matches in the campaign so far, has stunned everyone, especially their foes. However, it is a shame that Nigerian media has been silent on the developments as regard the Nigerian young side, to the extent that not a single station could air the match to the viewing pleasure of Nigerians. I think this is a minus for the media, known worldwide for being among the best in the world. |

I just dey laugh(apology to Obj) ...........We havn't seen nothing yet. |
Dinobenson: But Obj was the president when sharia was introduced in zamfara and sharia is the fore-runner of boko haram. That's true, but don't forget that he(Obj) said then that his best solution to the introduction of Sharia by opposition Governors, was to see it die a natural death. In other words, Obj tactically killed Sharia, without war or even wasting any human life. Where is the Sharia today? |
