Oshiomole, I can't stop thanking you. You opened up my once 'big village' - Okpekpe town in Etsako East L.G.A and turned it into a town, by constructing a beautiful road of over 10Km, even in diffult terrain for that matter. You turned the road to become a center of attraction and tourism(thank to Mike Itemuagbor and other organizers of Okpekpe 10km race). Now Okpekpe has opened to become a hub of economic activities in North Ibie lan. We are most grateful. |
redsun:And the present administration is so clean that it dines with any corrupt person, as long as the person shout 'I am for Jonathan re-election' |

Just wondering how some people on this platform are just too lazy to research into an issue before making assertions based on what they have been fed with by hired journalists and biased government officials. The power sector reforms and development started by Obj were stopped by Yar'adua, who was probing what was non existent. All the ongoing and recently commisisoned power projects by GEJ were started by Obj, but derailed by Ya'ardua's administration. Even President Goodluck knows this fact. |

Addis Ababa – The African Union on Monday gave Burkina Faso’s army two weeks to return the west African state to civilian rule and threatened sanctions if it failed to comply. “We ask the armed forces to transfer power to the civil authorities, and the council has determined a period of two weeks for the transfer,” said Simeon Oyono Esono, head of the AU’s Peace and Security Council, speaking in Spanish. The army has stepped into a power vacuum left by ousted leader Blaise Compaore, who was forced to resign the presidency last week in the wake of violent demonstrations at his attempt to extend his 27-year-rule. Lieutenant Colonel Isaac Zida was named the interim head of state. “The African Union is convinced that the change has been against democracy. However, we know that popular pressure led to the resignation of the president. Those circumstances were taken by the armed forces to get into power, but it originated from the people,” Esono said. “Having taken note of the origin of the popular revolt which led the military to assume power, we determined a period of two weeks, and after that period we are going to apply sanctions.” The United Nations, US and EU have also called for the country’s military top brass to hand power back to civilians. After the two week period, the AU will appoint a special envoy to the country and meet again “to examine the situation and see the steps to be followed.”. The question now, is can the AU bite as it has barked? Source: https://www.nairaland.com/newtopic?board=20 |

akinsadeez:It is not the Nigerian Police? Just imagine the whole story! At 12.30 pm day time and in a busy neighbourhood such as that area and the girl could not resist the man's request by shouting so that passerby would hear? Haba! There is more to it, which the lady must say. |
MacluvPH:If I may ask you, can you tell me exactly any of the projects that Jonathan has completed? |
In as much as i dont support molesting females sex, this story has been carefully fabricated just to exonerate the girl from possible crime of manslaughter. anyway, i just hope this girl will live a normal life again, because, one, she is now a murderer, secondly she told lies to cover up what really the issue is and thirdly, she will continue to feel guilty for ever because she lied against the dead. May the Almigthy God save her from imminent mental insanity which her action and falsehood will occassion to her. |

Compared to what many other States government have built over the years, this is just a student's hostel. By the way, why is Fasoye crying wolf when he is supposed to start the business of governance? He is only crying because he was not the one that built it, where he would have told the world that he built it at a rate three times what Fayemi used in building same. By the way, every dime in that building belongs to the government and not Fayemi. |
This guys should be ashamed of themselves. What will they tell their kids who come back from school, failed an examination and begin to tell the parents that he failed because the principal wants him to fail. Will you not scold that child? The question these lazy 'lawyers' must answer is, what does the DG stands to gain by failing them? Nothing. They should go and resit for the examination jor and stop complaining. |
YES, we can! You did it before, you will do it again |
Desperate 'enemies' of good governance in Edo State. |
