Cities in Nigeria?? Thats not hard to do, the worst cities in countries like Vietnam or Lebanon are ahead of Nigerian cities even lagos..

We dont have one city in this country that compares to any of the greatest cities in the world..

Malaysians have Kuala Lumpur that can be compared to any major cities..

Sao Paolo in Brazil looks like New York in many parts..

Another set of suspected thugs has been apprehended by vigilant youths in Akwa Ibom, just hours to the governorship and House of Assembly elections today.

A bus carrying about 20 political thugs all the way from Edo state - was intercepted in Ikot Esen-Atiamkpat road, Nsit Ubium LGA, Akwa Ibom state.

The leader of the group was beaten mercilessly by the mob as he claimed they were brought from Edo to Akwa Ibom to monitor the elections and also provide "security" at polling units.

He also said they will receive their full payment after the elections are concluded.

Atiku Abubakar, presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has attributed the low turn-out of voters in the ongoing governorship and state assembly elections to alleged rigging of the presidential poll.

Atiku spoke after casting his ballot at the Ajiya polling unit 02, Gwadabawa ward of Yola north local government of Adamawa state.

“There is low voter turn out and I believe it’s because of the last election which was marred by a lot of irregularities,” he said.

Atiku said the involvement of the military in the election is unconstitutional, urging the electorate to be law-abiding.

Speaking on his loss, Atiku said he was committed to challenging the result f the election in court.

He called on his supporters to remain calm and await the outcome of the legal action.

Earlier, President Muhammadu Buhari said he expected Atiku to challenge the presidential election in court.

Motorists and bystanders along the popular Ogba bus stop, Ogba, Lagos Mainland were in panic mode as a vehicle parked by the road side caught fire.

Although the reason for the fire was unknown to many, bystanders and road users rushed to the aid of the car owner who looked helpless as his vehicle burns.

The fire threw motorists plying the axis into a bit of panic as they hurriedly drove away from the spot to avoid multiple explosions.

Although the fire was put out with combined efforts from residents and road users, what was left of the burnt vehicle was the carcass.
