A 44-year-old businessman, Ekpolador Ebi, told an FCT High Court, Kubwa, that he would no longer tolerate his wife’s masturbation. Ebi made this known when he testified in his divorce petition against his wife, Gloria Onajero, in Abuja on Wednesday. He urged the court to end the marriage, which had produced two children because of his wife’s unfaithful and intolerable character. The petitioner questioned the paternity of his children, when he found out his wife’s extra-marital affair with one Richard. He also noted that his wife’s “ugly character” has had a negative impact on their children. “She masturbates on a regular basis. I have warned her severally but she wouldn’t stop. Now it has affected my first daughter. “I caught her on three occasions; I spoke to the mother about it and she promised that it would be resolved but it did not. “Now, I noticed since we separated, that the children have developed confidence issues in school. “My first daughter has also developed anger issues; she slams the door at you when you try to scold her. All these never used to be,” he testified. Ebi also told the court that he ran away from his home because his wife and her mother frustrated all his good intentions. According to him, his wife also beats the children with so much force and without mercy and when he tried to caution her, her mother supports her. The petitioner urged the court to, aside dissolving the marriage; help him recover his property from his wife. “My wife came into this marriage with nothing, but when she left, she went away with everything I had. “She took all the original documents of my property, including our marriage certificate. “I want everything back, including my first daughters’ international passport which has a five-year-visa on it. “I also want this court to order her to stop calling me at odd hours. She calls me around 1 a.m, 2 a.m or 3 a.m for no good reason,” he said. Mr Festus Ukpe, Counsel to the respondent, applied to the court to grant them two dates of adjournment to enable him and his client prepare their defence. The presiding judge, Justice Bello Kawu, adjourned the matter till March 21 and March 30. Read more at: http://www.vanguardngr.com/2017/02/wives-masturbation-affected-first-daughter-husband/ |

The father of three, Sakiru Bello, who is currently being investigated at the homicide unit of the State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department, SCIID, has denied the allegation that he murdered his ex-wife, Sherifat Bello. According to the 36-year-old suspect, “I called her on February 13 and she came to see me at home. Later, both of us went to the Island. It was on our way back that a commercial bus hit the bike that we boarded and she fell, hitting her head on the ground. “When we got home, she started complaining of pain in the head and then she died. I didn’t take her to the hospital because I didn’t have money. After she died, I didn’t know what to do. I couldn’t call her family members since we aren’t in good terms. It was while thinking about what to do that a thought came into my mind that I should cut her corpse into pieces to enable me dispose off her remains easily. “So I cut her head, her breast, her leg and other parts of her body. I later wrapped them in a sack before taking it to an uncompleted building, where I buried the parts in different holes.” Read more at: http://www.vanguardngr.com/2017/02/cut-wifes-corpse-bits-suspect/

In the meeting of PDP chieftains in Abuja today, a lot of speakers where given the opportunity to make brief speeches, among whom were Govs. Wike and Fayose, Jerry Gana, etc and trust Gov. Ayodele Fayose - He did not only threw verbal missiles at the APC led government, his speech centered mainly on Amodu Sheriff, the factional Chairman of PDP, whom the Appeal Court upheld as the authentic Chairman of the main, but embattled opposition party in Nigeria. In his speech, Gov. Fayose apologized on behalf of his counterpart from Rivers State, Gov. Wike, both of whom had been blamed for spearheaded the foisting of Amodu Sherrif on PDP as its Chairman, but that did not dampene the spirit of the most vocal figure in the opposition party. According to Gov. Fayose "We have apologized for bringing Amodu Sheriff to PDP. We are sorry. We brought him, but along the line, we discovered that he was a bad product, we removed him. If a man has a girl friend, both of them romancing together, touching everywhere and the man later, is taking the woman to the altar to marry her and somebody just whisper to you to beware of HIV/Aids, what do you do as the man? You will run away. Infact, the man can even jump through the window, consciously, to save his life" Sheriff is like that girl with HIV/Aids. Who wants to die when you see HIV/Aids? Sherrif is HIV/Aids." He is not my hero, I can't help, but to continue to acknowledge Fayose as good talker, at least the Nigerian way. He may not have the best mastery of English, but he makes that up with hitting the nail straight on the head. Source: Live from AIT |

Does "magun" also strikes the man that prepared it on her wife? This is what Mrs Fatimah Adebayo, a 35-year-old woman, has revealed to us: Please read on: On Monday, the 35 year old woman, urged an Ikorodu Customary Court, Lagos, to dissolve her 14-year-old marriage to Mr Segun Adebayo, over alleged placement of sexual protective charm called “thunderbolt’’ on her. The charm is aimed at tracking women’s infidelity in traditional Yoruba setting. The petitioner, a fashion designer who resides at Macaulay Inside, Baiyeku Road, Igbogbo in Ikorodu, prayed the court to end the union to safeguard her life. Fatimah further said she had gone through series of assault in the hands of the husband, adding that Adebayo was a threat to her life. “My husband laid a thunderbolt, known in our local parlance as `Magun’ on me. “I got to discover through an old man in my area and through my father when I was sick. “But I smartly lured him to sleep with me so he contracted the thunderbolt effect, after making love with me, he tumbled twice and I called for neighbours’ help. “Besides that, my husband beats me, he does not trust me and he does not take care of our children’s welfare. “Please save me from this marriage as living with him is now dangerous for me. This is because he can kill me,’’ she said. When asked to comment on the allegations, Adebayo, 43, prayed the court to allow his counsel speak on his behalf. At that point, Mrs Omolara Abiola, the President of the court said it was important to either debunk or accept the allegations before a third party could come in. Abiola adjourned the case till March 7, for further hearing. Read more at: http://www.vanguardngr.com/2017/02/husband-laid-magun-struck-twice-lured-bed/ |

This is a clarion call to Africa's richest man and business mogul, Alhaji Aliko Dangote. Remember you promised Nigerians sometime in early 2016, at the commissioning of one of your factories, that a combined output of all your cement factories, located across Nigeria would bring down the cost of cement( irrespective of the brand) to at least 1000 Naira. When that promised was made by you, we actually had the prices of cement hovering between 1300 to 1500 naira, while we were hoping to get the cement at 1000 naira, but this did not last up to a year and the prices shut up to about 1800 and 2000 naira. Curiously, as at last week sir, when I bought cement for my building project, I bought a bag of your cement at 2400 naira per bag. Just yesterday sir, when I wanted to buy more cement for the project, I was stunned to hear that the price of a bag of cement(Dangote) has increased from 2500 to 2800, all within a week. Haba! Are we saying that the low income earners of the Nigeria economy should not build houses again? Why does the cost of cement, a locally manufactured product, a bye product of our local limestone, now competes with imported goods in this Country? Do we need to appeal to the Federal Government to grant license to importers to import cement if that is what will bring down the prices of this product? |
