Pearl1910: Even though this ur gist is completely unrelated to the post u quoted I still enjoyed it. But if na me, I go allow them catch us, then when she pays through her nose, next time she will listen to me. First u told her is unsafe to park there, then next she say u should whyne down...she should have also said "why did u escape, I wanted to have a discussion with them" Oga Boss, it’s my first day at work and as an ex Uber driver, I despise those LG boys with passion |

whatisthetruth: My biggest take from this episode is how a rider can lie and since there is no evidence, it would just be your word against there's.
You don't want to suffer a bad reputation because of the lies of a low-life. Someone is trying so hard to lie against you, and you also can’t find a simple lie against them. Nawa for you oo what if they said you are trying to rape them what would you do? Oga Professor wise up. As I no see car for Uber, I start private driving Job. My first day at work, Madam said I should take her to Isolo and on our way back, Madam said she want to buy yam opposite Isolo LG secretariat, I told her we can’t park there cos of local government boys, she said she won’t use up to 2 minutes, immediately she entered the car, i central locked the car and ready to move naso towing vehicle blocked me ooooo, they asked me to roll down the glass that they want to ask me something, I insist I will not roll down the glass, naso Madam say make I roll down the glass one of the Boys just put his hand inside and try to open the door from inside immediately I roll up the glass with his hand in-between luckily for me I have enough space to escape, naso I Japa with the guy’s hand still in-between the glass. I don move far before I release him. |

dru23: We write as we speak "Trying to learning" orphanage English.... Hope say u no dey speak like this for Yankee.... Yankee babes no go understand you ...........
Jokes apart......Try and mix with whites in class or at work.. This will improve your English.. But if you continue to hang around Nigerians your English will not improve......
And aware that you are shy about your orphanage Nigerian Accent. But with time it will improve. Reading novels will greatly improve your English.. And if u can't pronounce certain words, just Google the pronunciation or YouTube it ......
And my Afro musician mom teaches english.. She can help you and you will be able to speak with confidence..... And since you are into IT , depending on ur level or job title u might be group in team to work on a project... Speaking properly and clearly to your colleague is very vital ........ Baba I don’t know you are this shameless. “My Afro musician Mum” |

Aganju849: Why hasn't Uber itself helped him by placing a lien on the driver's earnings? It's simple: cash or card is the approved payment method, anything outside of it is your own personal business. Drivers get scammed here because of transfers, it's difficult to park in public places in Lagos and wait for alert, so many driver's have lost their wages as a result of this.
When they tell you to hold your cash before your enter ride, e get why. You no fit enter danfo dey tell driver say na transfer you wan use pay. True talk |

northbird: Keep the 100k for yourself /contingencies. Shelf HP for now and keep looking for rentals.
Take this hint, one of the best places to scout for cars is Inspection centers. Look for the busiest inspection Centre around you.
Pally up with the inspection guys, you can get his/her no. State your mission, later in the day /evening , you can recharge his phone with ₦500 if you are boxed up. Give a gentle reminder that if he sees anyone looking for a rental driver, you are available.
I hope you can drive properly, (and you have a valid license) because, you can strike gold on your first day of scouting ( they might assess you on the spot by telling you to drive around).
Good luck. Thanks Boss |

Glithronix: 107k in a month? You don dey lose form truly. I am sure your record on e-hail go don dey on elite stage, so, you truly might be needing to reduce driving spirit. Thank God other businesses don dey gel as you said, na the koko be that. Cos this driving no be something wey person fit do till retiring age - Naaaaah! My own focus too is my business which I have plan for already. This e-hail will be used to set my business so that I can become a full home appliances dealer - I have already registered my business (a limited business). Na to finance it remain but I'm doing it small small sha, but growing bigger in it is my goal. My plan na to get HP somewhere (whether Nigerian used or Toks) and pay up within 15-18 months and stop driving after that cos I know I would have saved enough to do my business while I'm also a car owner. This is exactly my goal and I don't want it to pass 2 and half years to achieve this. I never pray to do this driving up to 3 years before I leave am. Btw, omoh, yesterday traffic at lekki epe express way going to ikate - Igbo efón mad. Spent like 25mins inside traffic. As I dropped the riders at on Adebisi Oyenola street which completed my 12 trips to win 2.6k bonus yesterday, na so I went offline, zoom to mainland straight like around 6pm. Spent over 50mins. As I landed on mainland, ogudu precisely, na so I switched online and my 1st trip on mainland took me to Shomolu. Mainland hustle dey vex me. I hate this Shomolu-bariga axis. Na one of the forbidden areas on my list. After dropping the rider, I went offline and I drove empty to Maryland. Switched back online and the next order took me to Oshodi. Omoh, I hate driving these areas when it's dark. I dropped rider and went offline straight. Drove back to Maryland, went online and another trip took me to Shomolu again. Thank God I've already won bolt bonus on island (if you want to win bolt bonus easily, just go straight to lekki, you will be glad you did). I just closed and went home straight - got home 9pm on the dot. It is well, boss. While I was in Igbo efón traffic, I saw you but I no come see your Benz. Much respect, boss. You mean Felicity don start short rest business. Wow |
