Relationships are just so complicated. |
For so long I've read stuff like "Nigerians in the UK" this and that. Don't let us deceive ourselves. These guys are not Nigerians. They are only of Nigerian decent. My boss holds dual citizenship but her children (all bearing Nigerian names) have never stepped their feet into Nigeria, would you call them Nigerians? They don't know anywhere in Nigeria, they don't speak any Nigerian language, they don't know the route to their native land. Let me bring to your notice when Micheal Adebolajo, who killed a UK soldier was referred to as Nigerian by BBC, do you know how many Nigerians got angry? Well, success breeds familiarity. Call me whatever pleases you, but this is the fact. If Mikel passes his citizenship exam in the UK this month, and he then contests and wins a political post there, then he's a Nigerian ruling in the UK. As for these other guys, they are not Nigerians. They are of Nigerian decent. Lastly, is Obama a Kenyan? If your answer is yes, consult your gate man for more intelligent argument. |

Fellow Nigerians, in fulfilment of my promise to trek if fuel remains scarce by Monday morning, I shall start trekking several kilometres from my bedroom to the kitchen. Wish me journey mercies. |

Mr Doyin wrote on his facebook page as you can see below... His post has drawn criticism from different angles. Patrick Obahiagbon: Mr Okupe just served a ludicrous parcel of driveling galoots... Aisha Buhari: After leading President Gej astray. Doyin Okupe is out again to ruin him. Dipo Awojide: If President Jonathan thinks deeply, he'll curse the day he met @doyinokupe. Doyin was very instrumental to the defeat of the PDP. Meanwhile, Mr Okupe has fired back at some of these criticisms: @yoschka357 @Naija_Gist @toluogunlesi u never even got near an thing significant. Pray and work hard. May God hv mercy on yr wretched soul. @AliyuRingim1 my village for now is abuja. It's called FCT. It's for losers& winners. Buhari used to live here 4 yes b4 he eventually won

The funny thing about cohabiting is that the guy already knows where he's going. No matter what a lady does, his mind is already made up. |
Joy1706:2011 THISDAY can report today that the state House of Assembly has silently amended the Lagos State Criminal Code and expunged bigamy from its statutes. The state Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Mr. Adeola Ipaye, confirmed the development, saying the old law was no longer useful. Ipaye said it became necessary to remove bigamy because the state government found out that there was no need to criminalise the offence. He nevertheless said bigamy would now be treated as a civil offence and such a marriage would simply be dissolved without any criminal proceedings being instituted against the offender. My submission is, if bigamy carries no criminal offence but a civil offence, how does court marriage deter men from taking another woman outside the legal marriage? |

Why are the PDP fans having a funeral in my mentions? The end of pepper soup politicking is neigh and all good citizens should applaud it... The end has come for the odoriferous excesses of a machiavellian and mephistophelean mammoth cabal...The change will come with you or in spite of you! If the cabal's profligacy of neologisms and shibboleths ever set off apoplectic paroxysms in you, if it all seems a bit recondite, here's a reason to be sanguine... You cannot win when your online 'strategists' are pulled from Goebbel's devilish ministry of propaganda... Source: His twitter handle @PObahiagbon Whatever he means, it's only God who knows... |

Na wa o. Women, get the right knowledge. Court wedding doesn't prevent a man from getting a second wife. It prevents him from getting a second 'legal' wife under the law. He can choose to marry her under traditional law. Court marriage also prevents the woman from being manhandled when certain things happen as long as she is the legal wife. |

Well, maybe someone needs to check on how his wife's ex is doing lately? |
Why are we narrow minded? Korede Bello got invited to sing. Does it mean he has to sing Godwin? If he's very talented, right on that stage, he could cook up a gospel song. On the post, Godwin is just music just like Jingle Bell he sang during Christmas. |
Why are some people saying the guy lied? Am I missing something in the post? The discussion about his past never took place, does it make it a lie? If she had asked in the past, and the guy had said no, then that's a lie. He kept a secret because he doesn't want to lose her and now he has come to disclose it. OP, you need to sit down with this guy and you guys should figure out a plan that works. The child's age is also important in any of your plans. If the guy loves you, he must make sacrifices too because it's not easy to integrate a child born out of wedlock into another marriage. |
