Good evening house
Please what's currently the most important document needed to process and get a visitor visa to Canada?

I do not have a travel history (Lived all my life in Ajah). I work remotely from Lagos for a company in Bahrain and own my own startup here in Lagos.
I have enough means of financial support (figures in USD)
My goal for visiting Canada is to be somewhat closer to my fiance who's in the US (We currently have an ongoing visa application with the US government).

Thank you

InvestorTeeMan:

From the look of things you are most likely to have your F1 interview before the K1 yeah?

1. If you’re approved you can abandon or end the K1 petition and go to the US for studies and adjust your status in the process. There are few ways you can do this, of which getting married to a USC is one them and you already have a fiancé you guys are planning to get married yeah. But this is practically a red flag for F1 visa because students are expected to return to their home country after studies.

2. You can go to US for studies on F1 then come back to have your K1 visa interview in your home country when you’re are at that stage, if approved or not you can still go back to continue your studies but you will be open to seamless adjustment of status and other opportunities if approved for K1.

On the contrary, if the consular finds out that you have a pending K1 petition while you apply for F1 he/she may believe you are desperate and and you will not return, it could establish mixed feelings on your purpose of going to the US, though you have the chance to prove them wrong but those guys sometimes just wanna believe whatever impressions they wanna believe.

NB: make sure whatever information you have on your F1 application do not contradict the ones you inputted in your K1, weigh your options well and consider how close you are to a successful K1 process.

Good luck.

Hi everyone. Is it okay to apply for F1 having already filed the I-129F for K1?
I just got admitted to Boston Uni's MBA for this fall but I'm not sure how applying for F1 will impact the already submitted K1.

Please advise

Hi all,

I know this topic has been discussed numerous times, but I honestly didn't see any of them particularly address a situation where one is already working remotely with a US company, and they have to move to the US on a K1 visa.

In my case, I work as a Software Engineer for a tech startup based in Ohio. Been working with them for 18 months now.

Since I am not legally allowed to work in the US until I get the EAD Card, my questions are:

1. Should my fiancé list my job in the employment history on the form I-129F?
2. Do I have to quit my job before I move to the US given visa is approved?
3. Should I let my employer know I am moving to the US?

Oh... Thanks. I'll be celebrating my one year work anniversary with them in January. So, probably better to include like you said.
Thank you

Hi guys. I currently work with a company in the US (remotely) full time as a Data Analyst, but I also have a Nigerian company I consult with on a part time basis.

My fiancee is about to submit our application, but I wanted to know if I should include my remote job or just the Nigerian job as part of employment.

Would it hurt our chances if I state that I currently work with a company in the US?

grin ...Guy... I don't know if to laugh in Chinese or French. So she tested positive for "covid pneumonia". I asked for the medications because there is none that is being officially given for the effective treatment of COVID-19. But .... money must be made.

Lol...What money is being made bro?
She was placed on oxygen and given drugs to heal her lungs. Zinc and vitamins were also administered to boost her immune system. What money exactly is there to be made from telling you I had to pause over a month of my life to take care of my grandma.
All the struggles from the house to general hospital ikorodu, to Mainland hospital in Yaba, then transferred to Ajao estate.
The trauma from seeing men and women die and you think money must be made. All is well.

At this point choose to believe what you want.

Where did I say COVID-19 last for 2 weeks? Your grandma dma was admitted with an oxygen level of 64 ... does that mean she has COVID? ... or she had other issues? What medications is she on for COVID-19?
Yes, she tested positive for covid pneumonia.
I can't come out to tell you all that she's using for her treatment because I am not a medical doctor and it may mislead others to self-medicate. However, vitamins are included in her treatment.

Your grandma was admitted for 1month and 3 days. Was it because of COVID? How long should one be isolated for COVID-19? Isn't it 2 weeks? What was she doing there for more than twice the duration of time? Do you realize you're telling us the isolation centers are not for COVID-19 patients only? So when one dies in a COVID isolation center wouldn't the death be recorded as a COVID death? ... when the person was there because of other conditions and not COVID? And you're wondering why people don't believe the numbers.

Who told you covid only lasts for 2 weeks?

When the virus affects your lungs, your oxygen levels drop and your lungs will not be able to transport oxygen to the rest of your body. This is what results in shortness of breath.
When my grandmother was admitted, her oxygen saturation was 64. The normal saturation for humans is 97-100.
She had to be on 15L oxygen for 23 days before she started recording 90 in her saturation level.
Then the oxygen was reduced to 10L, then 8L.
Even though we're home now, she still averages 93 whilst she continues taking her drugs.
Don't let anyone deceive you that it lasts for 2 weeks.
Also, you could take a walk to any of the isolation centres and have a chat with those doctors or nurses volunteering there, maybe you'll understand how the virus works.

Okay good for clarifying. Your grandma was there for 1 month and 3 days in the isolation centre. And she was finally discharged, Can you explain why or how this happened. People need to know.
She had covid pneumonia. Covid comes with different complications. For old people, long covid is vei common. This means their oxygen saturation levels may not improve until after a long period of receiving oxygen to their lungs.

My grandma was on 15L oxygen for 23 days. It was after that period her oxygen saturation level got to 90. Even though she's back home, she still averages 93 in a day when the normal level should be 97-100.

That's how best I can explain

Taking the vaccine is not mandatory except you work in places that require you to. I was only explaining to the guy who called me a liar.

So what you're saying is we need to take the vaccine right?

Lmao.
You may not understand my story, hence you calling me a liar.. My grandma was admitted to the isolation center for 1 month and 3 days and I had to take care of her throughout till she was discharged. I saw people die right in front of me due to complications from covid and carelessness from some of the MA.
If you choose not to believe, it's left to you. I just sincerely pray you or your loved ones don't experience Covid Pneumonia.

Hi everyone. What are your thoughts on applying for a part-time course (IT related) in Limerick ?

I can afford to pay for the first year, but will be heavily reliant on jobs to pay for the second year. I don't have to worry about accomodation and feeding for the first year because I have a family friend who's willing to take care of that.

Please advise.
