@ Jasper... Keep it up.
I believe your aim(all the teachers) of agric practice and business on this forum is for a glut and thus bringing down the cost of food, fruits and whatever. I believe we have not gotten there yet even for cucumber. Fruits are bought at ease in developed world. Let's sensitize the gray areas of these businesses and turn our world. May God bless you abundantly.

farmrich:
Kenyan agric success is as a result of individuals and favorable govt policies. About greenhouse construction, many Kenyans who can't afford amiram kits construct it themselves because the materials are readily available with bamboo poles. All the greenhouses I've seen are to make the temperatures a bit warmer, hopefully this week I'll visit one in an area similar to temps like ours or visit one in Nairobi now that the weather is hotter(around 27 degrees ) to see ho
w they aerate it.
please i need to talk to you.....more expecially before you leave kenya.i can't place my no here .please reach me at.....keles1003@yahoo.com thanks.

Agriculture / Re: Pig Farming Vs Fish Farming by nigerfine: 1:18pm On Jan 15, 2015
In most part of Nigeria.. Security for the pigs wouldn't come in now. Pigs are not easily stolen. As pavore has said.....there are some wonders in crops production but you don't know.I have pigs and I once had fish.. Fish is so tasking.pigs....time to get to where you ought yo be.your fund is not big enough. Study some crops.. Look for a place yo rent for your pigs. If crops are chosen you raise more money for your real goals.
