You said they held their breath 5 to 13 minutes? , that's a joke bro compared to what my riverine people do on a daily. The effect of social media is here. If you are sure our riverine can do more than this people then you can take it up ,make name, money and fame. |

It all depends on you, your thought of survival in the future, what are your chances with the baby? Not all are lucky raising a child alone. My girl friend who later became my wife had an abortion ( our pregnancy at early stage of friendship). We married after 7 years or so, still went ahead and have kids without us remembering the past for once. |

Gajagojo: Good to read? Did you comprehend them? How many people were actually involved in the study?
Often people read do not comprehend and pretend they have received enlightenment
It is 100% clear you did not comprehend the stats or what they are based on.
It is based on interviews of less than 50000people and the answers that they gave to a structured questionnaire
Here you are talking about dusting
An illiterate knows he cannot read and does not pretend
A semi illiterate is worse he cannot comprehend what he reads but must pretend to understand Do yourself a favor by visiting WAEC and jamb for the last five years , you would realize how the yorubas has taken back seat. The last WAEC had them on 23rd out of 36 starting from Lagos. Wow. The earlier the yorubas start talking about this the earlier they would hold their government responsible instead of claiming there is progress whereas there isn't. DO WE REALISE THAT MANY YORUBA TODAY'S GRADUATES CAN'T DISTINGUISH BETWEEN (has and as, his and is), no joke. |

The yorubas was once leading academically, the others have long overtaken them.Go check the last WAEC performance, the best of yoruba land was Lagos state at number 23! The north central grabbed a spot before them, all SE had picked their spot! WOW The yorubas are not advising themselves but rather making noise building more agberos. I am igbo of middle age, thanks to our children and youth who has used internet to change the narrative which yoruba media had used against the igbos. Let them continue advising and producing agbero while others have gone past them. Igbos would double up in all front. Know it that whenever South South wakes up completely they would get a well functional sea port that would birth a greater South South South East. |

favor914: You Obidients will forever fail to use your brains, how hard is it for him to have renounced his Guinean Citizenship last year, or even tomorrow, if indeed it is true?
The constitution doesn’t say you cannot contest with dual citizenship, it says you cannot be President, even May 28th 2023 isn’t late to renounce the so called guinean citizenship.
Much ado about nothing. If you revisit the constitution, it doesn't permit whoever had another citizenship even though you renounce it. I would like to think him and his camp had oversight of that, if not they could have sponsored a bill to allow renouncing dual citizenship to qualify a person |
Politics › Re: Haba! This 25% Spread Is So Easy To Understand Naah! by Nigerfine3: 3:03am On Apr 14, 2023 |
Tradegood: 25% spread in the required number of states and the FCT is not rocket science naah.
In simple English,
it simply means if a candidate gets 25% spread in the required number of states, and the FCT IS ONE of the states, you cannot now come and say to the candidate, "FCT is not a state, so a win in the FCT does not count for you".
The law is saying it will count. FCT is a state. Dazzall.
That clause was just simply trying to validate FCT as a state. Not that it is a "by fire by force" must win state.
It was just a validation something nii!
So, if you get 25% spread in the required number of states and FCT is not among, nothing spoil. You still win.
And as many people don talk tire for this forum, another section of our constitution validate this explanation wey I just knack give you so.
Na one guy first explain this thing. But I don forget him moniker.
Does this instruction mean you must pick white? Engrisshh.
The two "and" are playing same role.
It is like listing all the states, "Abia, Adamawa, Anambra Akwa Ibom, ...and then ending it with ...and FTC. It is a list of states. But instead of always listing all the states every time, you would rather summarize and say, "the 36 states and FCT"
It is not a conditional statement. That statement na summary of the list of states.
You need to know that in English, contextual rules exist too.
Is somebody understanding me this evening ?? Amen? The lawmakers that made that law are mad,it looks ambiguous but common sense picks yours.olisa agbakoba called INEC a month to election to revisit this phrase, the ignored him. |

NB: All of you Yoruba touts all over Nairaland crying over my mention...I said and I repeat...the Igbo will forever be your source of envy and pain! We have seen war, been to war, fought war, died in war, survived war and came out of war to stay on top of all life indices against all odds without any government input...that is the spirit of the Igbo man which you will forever admire from the distance of your miserable existence! Go ahead and choke on this fact.
