Am almost in your shoes but my case is that I see them as so fragile that anything could go wrong anytime... I hardly refuse a pregnant woman's request even when it is not convenient for me... Though am not married, but my married sisters will always make fun of me for that... One of my elder sisters once told me that a woman isn't pregnant on her arms or legs when I tried to stop her from mopping the floor. |

Faithfulnse: Nothing is pressuring me. I meet guys daily but I just want to be plain about my intentions on here. I know what I want and it's a husband. Everything must not be negative. I won't meet anyone with negative intentions. Is there any age that comes with wisdom? What if this is God's time? Hmmmmmm I see determination in your words... |

I like the fact that you know what you want.... I also like the fact that you know that you are taking a risk.... Like itself is a risk though. However, I'll like to meet you in person...you can create an email and drop it here for anyone interested if you don't mind, but make sure not to use your real name to create the mail... Maybe you can use your nairaland moniker.... Start up a conversation with your potential suitors via email and let the ones you find worthy enough have your phone number... Am currently in Owerri though Faithfulnse: Thank you,I'll be careful. |

Family › Re: Wife & Mother-In-Law Fight Over Who Will Sit In Front Of Her Husband's Car by Nigerianization(m): 12:54pm On Jul 29, 2020 |
Investnow2017: THE BITTER TRUTH Once you are married, the first person in your life, apart from God, is your wife. Your mother has her own husband. But a wife who openly challenges her mother-in-law disrespects her own husband not just her husband's mother. A wise wife would not do that if you truly love and see your husband as your head. In this circumstance, the wife ought to have sat at the back and protested privately to her husband later. A mature mother-in-law would not reduce herself to this level. My mother would not do a thing like this. I was with my younger brother two weeks ago and we were to drive out to see a family member down town along with his wife. My brother beckoned on me to sit in the front with him. I declined, and said no, your wife should sit with you in the front. The woman was amazed! Even when she insisted, "brother sit with your brother". I insisted and sat in the back seat. The woman's respect for me since then grew, and all of us enjoyed the peace before my departure. On this matter, both wife and mother are mad, but mother did not show enough maturity. If she had come with her son's father who would have sat in the front seat since the front seat matters so much to them? What is your answer? If turbulence arises in the home as a result of this shameless show of immaturity, who pays the price? The answer to this question should have been foremost on the mind of the immature mother-in-law . Thanks for this Oil dey your head But just a little correction based on the current scenario...... The woman was already seated in the car and it is disrespectful in my view to force her to relocate to the back... And just like someone earlier pointed out, even if the mother in-law wants to relocate, a respectful wife should decline and sit at the back just for that time... What is yours is yours except what transpired was as a result of other salient issues that we are not aware of. |

There has never been a time that we had more male population than females in Nigeria. Of the few men available, some are gay, a good number of them are priests - that can Bleep but cannot marry. Many are in prison and a good number of them are still struggling. The few that are financially ready and available are in high demand. Am talking from experience.
The female on the other hand, are usually ready for marriage even from a teenage age. Not all though, but a good number of them. |
