FamilyRe: Husband, Wife In Shock After Giving Birth To Dwarf by Nihilist:
grin
lalasticlala:
The joy and excitement that comes with childbirth is absent to the family of Frances Omgbolo when his wife gave birth to a dwarf baby.

It was gathered that the woman, 26, who was rushed to the labour room, came with full term pregnancy and was later delivered of a dwarf.

A source at the hospital said Omgbolo, a 41-year- old civil servant from Obrigbene community in Ekeremor Local Government Area of Bayelsa State, was thrown into confusion when he learnt that his wife has given birth to a dwarf, describing it as mysterious

Reacting to the unusual experience, Mrs. Omgbolo said she was shocked at the sight of the baby. According to her: “What I saw as a baby, I could not believe I carried it for nine months. Never in my life have I seen a thing like this. This is my third pregnancy. I have three children, my first pregnancy was twins without any form of dwarfism. I don’t know where this is coming from. Since the outset of this pregnancy, I have had several challenges, including bad dreams. It is the handiwork of my enemies. But I thank God I am strong after delivery.”
Imagine the grown up dwarf reading his mother's comments in 20 years grin grin grin grin

I don't think the Ronaldo logic cuts it here cos Ronaldo's numbers are more impressive than robben's. Why would you choose a riquelme who's key numbers weren't as impressive as Mata's?
EHN?

Post the Key numbers here for comparison.

Use Riquelme's stats at El Submarino as that was his best time in Europe

Yeah...

If you were asked to pick the player who defined the word "playmaking" and you had to choose between him and mata ( during his supposed top class "playmaking" at Chelsea),who would be your choice?
Riquelme was the daddy of all number 10s, the king of Enganches and I would obviously pick Riquelme over Mata(Subject to tactical tweak of course)

But that's not saying much....Robben is one of the best wingers in the world, but I would still pick Ronaldo over him so.... undecided

oscar is a defender posing to be a playmaker - he's got nothing over mata apart from his defensive quality. oscar is excellent at his secondary role but very poor at his primary role.

45% pass accuracy is the worst i have seen since OPTA started collating stats. cheesy
I have honestly never in my life heard such a foolish utterance before. Mata is not a playmaker, but Oscar is? grin grin grin grin

Nihilist, was riquelme a playmaker or not? If he was, what particular quality did he posses that made him one?
Which Riquelme? Juan Riquelme the Argentine?

I do admire these kind of players not only because of their skill set but because of their brain which are constantly working and in control.
As for Oscar being better than Mata? Yes, he is. Oscar has better pace, better control of the ball in tight places, better awareness, better dribbling to open up space and above all, can orchestrate play.
The only thing Mata has above him is his vision which he can only display in the final third but in the midfield, he's a lost puppy; that's if he doesn't lose the ball to begin with. Oscar is also defensively better than Mata. Enough said.
This kain highness? On a Monday?
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by Nihilist: 2:32pm On Dec 15, 2014
Argument is now shifting from Mata was not Chelsea's playmaker to Mata is not a Playmaker.

Shirley07, using your bogus definition, oya explain how Oscar of all people was Chelsea's playmaker.

Shirley07:
The answer lies in your post. The team was built around Mata and he was the focal point of that team. Even then, he dictated nada.
And you were saying?
He dictated nada?

So what was he doing when he was having more passes and touches of the ball than any other Chelsea player? Playing draught? grin
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by Nihilist: 1:10pm On Dec 15, 2014
Shirley07:
Secondly, inability of the team mates to recognizing the actual playmaker and this is also the fault of coach. For example, Chelsea players didn't recognize Oscar as the actual playmaker, they probably thought that Mata is the playmaker since the team was built around Mata. However, the player that actually made play happened was Oscar, even with the little touches he had. Same thing happened with Mata and Kagawa in the games against Newcastle, Aston Villa, Westham e.t.c. Everyone defered to Mata in those games but Kagawa was the playmaker.
In a right set up and with an insightful coach, the playmaker gets more touches on the ball.
So the players thought Mata was the playmaker, and Mata performed as the playmaker, but OSCAR was the real playmaker? grin grin grin

Yet us Chelsea fans are unintelligent buffoons. cool

Shirley07:
Nope. Playmake is make a play i.e, conduct play, my engrish teacher.
Mata received the more passes than any other Chelsea midfielder that year, indicating that the whole team was constantly looking to get him on the ball as he was the focal point of the midfield play.

In addition to receiving the ball more than any other Chelsea midfielder, Mata was also registering more touches of the ball than any other player, indicating that he was having time to dwell on the ball a bit longer than anyone else, before he picked out a pass.

He was directly involved in 36.9% of all of Chelsea's league goals.

Finally he created chances quicker and in more volume than any other Chelsea player.

If that's not a playmaker, then I don't know what your definition of playmaker is.

shirley07, mata was chelsea's best playmaker since they had zola. no debating! mourinho just didn't like him cos he wanted him to be more defensive. mourinho wouldn't have liked any of xavi & iniesta too cos they don't suit his "jam body" football.

in terms of vision, key passes, final passes, guile, close control, deft touches, etc mata is a king. i could care less about his defensive side. anyone expecting mata to be as defensive as toure or matic is a lunatic. he's not built like a tank.
I'm just laughing at Shirley07

Everthing went through Mata during those 2 years

11/12 Mata received the highest number of passes in that Chelsea midfield and was involved in almost 40% of Chelsea's league goals.

Created the most chances, created chances faster than anybody else, threw the most through balls...the man was the heartbeat of midfield

I've told shirley07 to upgrade to a plasma screen and stop listening to OGBC2

No one in particular during Drogba era which was all about grit and physicality but after Drogba exit and Oscar arrival, Oscar became the playmaker until Chelsea signed Fabregas.
It's a myth that Mata was unstoppable at Chelsea. He was only unstoppable against teams that afforded him space but against teams that denied him space in midfield, he was gash. We all know the reason he was always good against us which was because of our open and gash midfield which allowed him to waltz through unhindered but against teams like City, Pool, Swansea, Southampton e.t.c, he was found wanting. And apart from his goals against Arsenal, he was always his invisible self against them.
His champion league performance were even the poorest. At that time, some Chelsea fans, including my bro said it was because the team had ugly style of play, relying on grit and also, it was his 1st season with them.
Fastforwarded to his 2nd season when Oscar and Hazard were signed, his performances in the CL were even more gash. He was so out of sort against Juve and Donetsk, was invisible throughout the game while the newcomers (Oscar and Hazard) were pulling up their weight and doing something useful in the game but no, Mata was his useless self except against Norjalland where he put on his commando hat.
And when Bennitez was appointed as Chelsea Coach, the team had a counter attacking playing style which was built around Mata. This allowed him to thrive but even then, he was still his useless self against those aforementioned teams like Swansea which dumped them out of the F.a cup, Man City, Liverpool e.t.c.
How do I know this? Because I watches majority of Chelsea games with my bro.
The funny thing is people just look at his stats for Chelsea and start to cream their pants, forgetting that he was Chelsea's chief set piece taker (corners and freekicks) which increased his stats and he himself is a natural stat padder. For example in Chelsea game against Donetsk where he was invisible and useless, he was still able to make an assist for Moses' goal through a corner kick. He was a stat padder for Chelsea and even now, for us. It's so sad that Mourinho discovered that earlier before Manutd's coach did.
For the umpeteeth time, Mata aint a playmaker!
grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin

My nigga this is 2014, you need to upgrade from OGBC2 FM Stereo to flatscreen HD signal.
