BusinessRe: Zenith Bank's "Up Country Charge" by Nimshi: 7:09pm On Oct 27, 2010
kpozaa:

1) are you sure these charges were not communicated to you before you opened the account?
2) are you sure these charges were not communicated to you sometime after you opened the account?
3) have you contacted your account officer at the bank?
4) have you sent an email to the manager of the branch where your account is located?

Look, nice of you to share, but you need to do more than just post on an Internet discussion board; walk the talk: don't just complain; follow this through, and let's know how it pans out.

I don't bank with Zenith; but they just made a bunch of good money for their shareholders, did excellent with their PAT. My bankers, GTBank, appear to have a better reputation; they're not perfect though. And neither is Zenith the devil's den.

folem: great clip.

The more this common con man is exposed, the better for all hardworking Nigerians and Igbos sons and daughters.

There's no point defending a criminal and liar who spends much of his time writing stuff about himself on different websites.

Shame on him.

Iliteracy is a big disease.Treason is punishable by death and IBB allowed the law take its due course. If he averted justice and left his cousin(Vatsa) people will still complain.Vatsa was caught in coup attempt and died along with his co-plotters after being convicted by a military tribunal.
Ibrahim Babangida wouldn't have executed a coup d'etat had he any respect for the law . . .
PoliticsRe: Resign Now, 26 Parties Tell Fashola ! by Nimshi: 6:45pm On Oct 27, 2010
Is it, really?

Do you have the data?

Let's talk Lagos State, not Nigeria. . .

dappssee:
I think resignation is the new political tune.

Borrowing to build roads makes a lot of sense as the economic benefits far outweigh the cost of building the roads. The only problem is that the cost per kilometer of constructing roads in Nigeria is stunning

Er. . . Nigeria, "higher pedestrian"? Pedestrian?

No way any worm with half a functioning brain said that!

Sorry, but there's little intelligence in your post . . .

auwal87:
AMAZING!!!

The SHIPMENT was not originated from IRAN!!!

The Dynamic is;

1. Goodluck Jonathan wants to clear himself from blaming MEND on the 1st October attacks
2. He immediately ordered this scenario, so that Nigerians will be fooled to think that Goodluck is True, some foreign elements are involved in the 1st October Bombings.
3. Reliable reports revealed to me that even the containers that were said to be intercepted were actually not taken from any ship from outside Nigeria AND has NO NAME on it, so it is basically carrying NIGERIAN flag, it is NIGERIAN.

Conclusion
Nigerian Government under Goodluck Jonathan is fooling NIGERIANS on this one just to divert attention from the MEND's threats. It is a game well played, understood by the few among the most intelligent. undecided
TravelRe: Nigerians In The Diaspora Would You Move Back Home ? by Nimshi: 6:31pm On Oct 27, 2010
If there was a relocating service for you which would offer you a good paying job and relocating services would you take it. Please answer this is for a future project
- relocation service
- good-paying job

These two aren't enough to lure one permanently back home, at least, not right now.

There're several other considerations; here, just two:

1) security: priceless. It isn't 100% safe where I live; but I've forgotten to lock my door and the car more than a few times; I don't fret when this happens. I also don't fear being violently hijacked at home or on the road by people less fortunate, who would otherwise be doing something else were the opportunities available.

2) electricity/power: life unimaginable without interrupted power; 3, 4, 6, 8 weeks of epileptic power supply is bearable; to make it the norm is unimaginable.

igbo boy:

In Middle East Osama is a HERO
In Chechnya, Palestine all those suicide bombers are HEROES
In Russia the Spies caught in the act of Espionage in America are HEROES
9/11 terrorists are HEROES to Muslims

Yet in Nigeria we are quick to condemn one of ours geez if the world persecutes him at least the one place he should seek refuge should be home abi? But not in Nigeria's case
So, you think those are good examples? Terrorists, suicide/homicide bombers, etc etc ?

That you count Emeagwali among that deplorable bunch tells you may know a bit about this consumate fraud's activities.

What's bad is bad; let's not sink to the pits in our search for heroes.

If you're keen on one, Prof. Bart Nnaji is as good as any brilliant scientist - and nationalist - you may want to emulate; stop selling Emeagwali, he's an embarrassment to Nigerian scholars.

What's genetics? The fraud? Stop insulting hardworking and honest Igbo people by using Philip 'The Fraudster' Emeagwali as an example.
About the most crushing exposé on this fraudster was effected by no less than another Igbo daughter; read Chioma K. Ezeilo's pieces and weep:

The problem is that there is no arbituary person. Someone who's role is strictly objective and not biased.
"arbituary"??

lomolink:
Would you not pay a small fee if you knew that the person in the middle could handle it well and act without favouring someone? We all would. It is just that too many middlemen accept bribes. Only trusted middlemen would really be used and it can take time to build a name like that.
Why should any tenant want to pay a small fee to someone in the middle if th tenant would pay directly to the landlord without any problems?? The landlord should pay the '(wo)man in the middle', not the tenant.

Sounds like a good idea, but: who in their right mind would do a mortgage in Nigeria, with double-digit interest rates? And the uncertainty as the FG plays roulette with lending? A long-term mortgage in Nigeria is simpy slavery. And they you'd end up losing the home.

OPC boys caught these b*astards.

They could keep their kidnapping business to the East; they shouldn't try it in Lagos. They ought to be happy they didn't meet with 'OPC justice'. Good-for-nothing, child-snatching money worshippers.

Up OPC!

Of course, winds could open a 'land bridge'.

So how would that qualify as a miracle with old man Moses stretching forth his talisman cane?

PropertiesRe: Please, Has Anyone Had Any Dealing With Propertymart by Nimshi: 7:11pm On Sep 05, 2010
medjai: this doesn't appear to be a scam. . . You could have direct contact with Property Mart via the contacts on their website, confirm the firm as existing from any of the banks at which they have accounts, and probably visit their office. We arranged a meeting with one of the company's agents very recently in respect of these plots . . .

The transaction will be done through a bank; payment can be made directly into the firm's account, and the firm's agents and/or members of staff would assist with the rest of the process. . .

1) A word about a review: no, that isn't the author's to give, it's that of readers, a description of their experience with reading the author's work. And you presented yourself as well-placed to give one since you appeared to claim to have read the book.

2) I don't need to go to Facebook, or, I don't with to: the author and/or the publisher has the responsibility to publicise this new author's work; and, as you presented yourself as an advertiser of the author's work, perhaps you could do the good deed by informing the author to drop hints on this page?

And, c'mon: have you read the book, really? 162 pages, eh, and you couldn't give your reviewhuh

I don't know if anyone is still interested in this topic, but i would like you to lay hold of a book by Muyiwa Oguntoyinbo titled 'The beautiful Bride'. The book describes several practices in our mordern christianity which complete departures from what the 1st century christianity is all about. Read the book with an open mind, not with a sense of judgement either about the book, the author or whoever the book talks about. Just read it for knowledges sake and for the sake af being a better human. Along with this, read dueteronomy 14:1-end then you will see how tithes and all these other levies came about.

I wish you happy reading
There's no single review of Oguntoyinbo's book on amazon.com; and, the book is already 'out of print'; see for yourself: http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_noss?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=the+beautiful+bride+oguntoyinbo

Perhaps you should publish a respectable review of the book? Shouldn't be much of a trouble, I'd think, the book being less than 160 pages.

Cheers.
