kpozaa: 1) are you sure these charges were not communicated to you before you opened the account? 2) are you sure these charges were not communicated to you sometime after you opened the account? 3) have you contacted your account officer at the bank? 4) have you sent an email to the manager of the branch where your account is located? Look, nice of you to share, but you need to do more than just post on an Internet discussion board; walk the talk: don't just complain; follow this through, and let's know how it pans out. I don't bank with Zenith; but they just made a bunch of good money for their shareholders, did excellent with their PAT. My bankers, GTBank, appear to have a better reputation; they're not perfect though. And neither is Zenith the devil's den. . |
folem: great clip. The more this common con man is exposed, the better for all hardworking Nigerians and Igbos sons and daughters. There's no point defending a criminal and liar who spends much of his time writing stuff about himself on different websites. Shame on him. |
Abagworo (m)Ibrahim Babangida wouldn't have executed a coup d'etat had he any respect for the law . . . |
Is it, really? Do you have the data? Let's talk Lagos State, not Nigeria. . . dappssee: |
Aloy+Emeka:Er. . . Nigeria, "higher pedestrian"? Pedestrian? No way any worm with half a functioning brain said that! . |
Sorry, but there's little intelligence in your post . . . auwal87: |
If there was a relocating service for you which would offer you a good paying job and relocating services would you take it. Please answer this is for a future project- relocation service - good-paying job These two aren't enough to lure one permanently back home, at least, not right now. There're several other considerations; here, just two: 1) security: priceless. It isn't 100% safe where I live; but I've forgotten to lock my door and the car more than a few times; I don't fret when this happens. I also don't fear being violently hijacked at home or on the road by people less fortunate, who would otherwise be doing something else were the opportunities available. 2) electricity/power: life unimaginable without interrupted power; 3, 4, 6, 8 weeks of epileptic power supply is bearable; to make it the norm is unimaginable. . |
igbo boy:So, you think those are good examples? Terrorists, suicide/homicide bombers, etc etc ? That you count Emeagwali among that deplorable bunch tells you may know a bit about this consumate fraud's activities. What's bad is bad; let's not sink to the pits in our search for heroes. If you're keen on one, Prof. Bart Nnaji is as good as any brilliant scientist - and nationalist - you may want to emulate; stop selling Emeagwali, he's an embarrassment to Nigerian scholars. |
igbo boy:What's genetics? The fraud? Stop insulting hardworking and honest Igbo people by using Philip 'The Fraudster' Emeagwali as an example. About the most crushing exposé on this fraudster was effected by no less than another Igbo daughter; read Chioma K. Ezeilo's pieces and weep: Part 1: http://magazine.biafranigeriaworld.com/cezeilo/2003nov05.html Part 2: http://magazine.biafranigeriaworld.com/cezeilo/2003nov09.html Footnote: http://magazine.biafranigeriaworld.com/cezeilo/2004jan02.html And here: see the unrobing of a man who couldn't deceive all the people all the time: http://www.republicreport.com/intellectual-fraud-crisis-allegedly-rocks-%E2%80%9Cphilip-emeagwali-myths%E2%80%9D%E2%80%94reports/ He's not a hero; he's a fraud. . |
lomolink:"arbituary"?? lomolink:Why should any tenant want to pay a small fee to someone in the middle if th tenant would pay directly to the landlord without any problems?? The landlord should pay the '(wo)man in the middle', not the tenant. . |
aieromon (m): Which way mortgage system? My dad came to Lagos and became a landlord by winning one of the flats in Festac.Paid off the shyt in 30years.Here I am begging a landlord for a year and a half rent.Bring back the mortgage system, build low cost houses and people will be forced to collect monthly rents.Sounds like a good idea, but: who in their right mind would do a mortgage in Nigeria, with double-digit interest rates? And the uncertainty as the FG plays roulette with lending? A long-term mortgage in Nigeria is simpy slavery. And they you'd end up losing the home. . |
Everyone who's informed knows Emeagwali is a fraud. He's a disgrace to hardworking Nigerians in scientific and other academic fields all over the world. . |
JUO:God? Are you kidding? Is God an OPC member? Honour to whom it is due, even if the Devil! OPC boys caught these b*astards. They could keep their kidnapping business to the East; they shouldn't try it in Lagos. They ought to be happy they didn't meet with 'OPC justice'. Good-for-nothing, child-snatching money worshippers. Up OPC! Oodua! |
Hahahaha. People without faith looking for science to confirm their beliefs. Of course, winds could open a 'land bridge'. So how would that qualify as a miracle with old man Moses stretching forth his talisman cane? And, - wait for it - Pharaoh and his men drowning in a small river flow! |
Despoil ![]() "15-year old rape fallout: Pastor Dead afer fight with Girl's Dad". That's a better headline; despoil? Rubbish. Its rape. . |
medjai: this doesn't appear to be a scam. . . You could have direct contact with Property Mart via the contacts on their website, confirm the firm as existing from any of the banks at which they have accounts, and probably visit their office. We arranged a meeting with one of the company's agents very recently in respect of these plots . . . The transaction will be done through a bank; payment can be made directly into the firm's account, and the firm's agents and/or members of staff would assist with the rest of the process. . . . |
Lambe? N500K? A bit on the high side . . . . |
debung: 1) A word about a review: no, that isn't the author's to give, it's that of readers, a description of their experience with reading the author's work. And you presented yourself as well-placed to give one since you appeared to claim to have read the book. 2) I don't need to go to Facebook, or, I don't with to: the author and/or the publisher has the responsibility to publicise this new author's work; and, as you presented yourself as an advertiser of the author's work, perhaps you could do the good deed by informing the author to drop hints on this page? And, c'mon: have you read the book, really? 162 pages, eh, and you couldn't give your review ![]() |
dekung:There's no single review of Oguntoyinbo's book on amazon.com; and, the book is already 'out of print'; see for yourself: http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_noss?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=the+beautiful+bride+oguntoyinbo Perhaps you should publish a respectable review of the book? Shouldn't be much of a trouble, I'd think, the book being less than 160 pages. Cheers. |
