OLAADEGBU:Sorry, but these ramblings are irrelevant to the current discussion. . |
tpiah:No, that is anti-theism. Atheism is much more passive than that. Babies do not make conscious decisions, like I pointed out before. Their brains arent developed to that extent. This means they're irreligious and without any beliefs. They're atheistic with respect to god, gods, God or Gods. a newborn baby doesnt know its parents either- does that make it parentless. It doesnt know it has a body- does that mean it does not have one.It doesn't have any beliefs. That makes the baby atheistic. |
hubreality:Oh! No sentiments at all; the comment is entirely biblical. Where's te biblical support for a woman to be pastor? See: 1 Cor. 14: 34-35 1 Tim. 2: 11-14 . |
Deep Sight:Too little time. . . I'll stick only to the first minute; life is too short to waste time on nonsense like this . . . 1) Who created God; the Question is a fallacy; it doesn't make sense. My question: what kind of fallacy? 2) He always existed. The inclusive term "always" exposes this statement; where's the proof? 3) "He wouldn't be God if he was created" This proposition (of a God) is unproved; this is argumentun ad ignorantiam, or, an argument from ignorance. Even if no one has succeeded in proving God does not exist, that doesn't mean he does. 4) There's a general principle that says a) either everything came from nothing (which is impossible), or b) something always existed and created everytthing that is created Voice over says there're no other choices, you have this either, or situation. This is called the Either/Or Fallacy, or a False dichotomy; it ignores other possible outcomes. |
Were Mr. Joshua to be serious about demonstrating his speacial powers to sick the mentally ill, Aro isn't all that far off. Heck, couldn't he just say a word and heal once and for all time all those needing such miracles at Aro? Shameless deceitful preacherman fleecing m.oronic faithfuls. . |
A shameless plagiarist religion, whose leader married a woman 15 yrs his senior because of her money, and then quickly went to his real objective once she was dead: getting married to a 6-yr old baby, and waiting - oh, virtuous! - for 3 years before beginning to ravage her. Desert merchant warriors are dangerous as religious leaders. . |
Madukaele: you appear confused by many things. 1) You just suggested your god feels very jealous, like a boyfriend whose girlfriend 's been done by another guy. 2) You can't use simple posting tools: how could you suggest that all one's posts have been in the religion section?? 3) You can't tell who's a professed Xtian or not 4) You only want to read opinion that you agree with: that's infantile. Grow up. |
Symbollic cannibalism is always ok. Now: why isn't your dad stopping young men and women blowing themselves and others up in his name? Is it true he gives the men tens of virgins when they get to him after blowing themselves up and killing strangers too? Discuss. . |
Apparently, crossing the seas does something to thinking and observation, eh? . |
Lol. In the first few minutes of your 'utterly brilliant' movie, your glib lecturer makes an elementary mistake (it's in the 'slide' with the "or" , ), it's so elementary any stable SS1 student would pick it up. Well, actually, he makes up to 3 rubbish statements. . . Not going to waste 8 mins on a guy who couldn't set his argument straight in the first minute. This is why an elementary course in logic should be compulsory for everybody in secondary school. . |
Nice to hear Mr. Joshua's god directly intervenes in boxing matches. Looks like Joshua's god enjoyed this match so much he let it run all rounds; one'd've thought a knockout in Round 1 would've saved lots of punishment . . . Does he care for football? It's soon World Cup time in South Africa. . |
patemy:Your premise ". . . some women carry ill luck around while some go with goodluck . . . " has no foundation in reality, not in the manner you want it believed. A woman may influence good coming your way: perhaps she's got the relevant connections you need, perhaps she's able to assist you in some way, or influence you positively to improve; such traits are personal. Belligerent women too may affect your work and performance, perhaps negatively; you may not be able to concentrate on what's important for your progress . . . Of course, this is also true for how men affect women . . . . |
InesQor:Excellent advice. As for the 6th finger, it's no real worry, except if associated with ther genetic traits. Surgical removal is an option if desired. . |
Good to help the Haitians. Nature's dealt badly with them But: there're horribly poor people in Nigeria, even on the grounds of the owners of Emmanuel TV. No need for any theatre or show; just help the very needy; they're very near you too. . |
Madukaele:Lolol. Forget about STDs; that's what stuff like condoms are for. God feels like a human feels when his gf, say, goes with another guy? You're kidding, or neck deep in blasphemy, or, both. . |
You should believe in destiny: it's all yours to mould. . |
Some details needed: 1) Size of the plot? 2) What documents available? 2) Contact email address? Just a small note: your company is quite diversified, wouldn't you say? Estate, Transport, Oil . . . . |
kayode Gid: why don't you take another look at your advert and make the necessary correction? You've done some, but it's hardly enough: Land (60 by 120sq.m) with foundation of 4 bedroom flat + 800 blocks + 1 tippa of grave on ground @ oko afo, lagos. Price #600,000.00k.Take a second look, and another . . . If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is . . . |
Two million dollars only. Well done! |
kayode Gid:Are you the agent?? The details - as you've provided them above - cannot be correct. . |
What're he exact sizes of each 'plot'? . |
Er, Lawyer, how're you sure the sandfilling is fool-proof? Has the sand-fill quality been evaluated by a professional? Just checking; the piece is coming in at about N17K/sq.m. . . . . |
dan6019:Of course. Lol. |
Pastor Anita? How could anyone named Anita who's read their bible well claim to be a pastor?? . |
OLAADEGBU:People who don't cheat would live long. Doesn't appear to be working these days. The cheats become rich and can afford excellent medical care. What's happening? And, why do these injunctions have to be followed by death threats? |
So, what's the benefit of obeying this? How does it hurt God for two consenting adults having intercourse. . |
Madukaele:Yeah. Nor the next. Nor the next. Nor the next . . . Ad infinitum. |
tpiah:You're getting closer to the truth. This state of absence of belief is what atheism is. The be atheist is to be in that state. That's why children are born atheists. It's an elementary fact. . |
tpiah:Wrong. Atheism is a state of non-belief in a god or gods. Theism is belief in a god, gods, God, or Gods. It's then elementary to figure which state the baby is born in. . |
tpiah:Quite the contrary. Everyone is born without belief in a god or gods. Religion is learned. Sounds tough, but you were born an atheist. And your children - if you do choose to have some - will be born atheists. |
Thorns:That's a statement. Any proof? . |
OLAADEGBU:This is a thorough misconception. The depiction bears little resemblance to reality. The question you ought to have asked is why you - like everyone else - were born an atheist. Perhaps then you may begin to see more clearly. . |
