Gadols:- David couldn't have made her blind or mad anymore than he could have resisted slapping her; she made David mad; she did it by mere words. - Anyone who physically slaps a witch in a church is a weakling; living legend or not - She was mcking the church? Ok. And, the correct response to that is a slap and condemnation to hell? David's ego is bloated. - My tongue? I don't know about you, but it'll be difficult to type wih my tongue. I don't do it; do you? - The only one exhibiting mild traits of madness here is you. |
Gadols:No; that's not the meaning of Nimshi. Do I now need to give you a bible-related lesson? Or will you simply ask God to help you? You cannot think; you cannot read; and you're even powerless against stopping yourself to post. Either you leave this place, or at least stop posting like a lunatic. The Witch For Jesus has now bested you in temperament and coherence; bad batting average; bad. . |
I.Oludayo:Another m.oron. So, he has a successful business in 50 countries, so what? Boko Haram? I've no connection to violence except on materials with a chisel; David is the violent man here; you don't appear to see that. Perhaps your brain is fried? Living legend? Indeed. The slap has made him more famous than he could ever have hoped. As a marketing trick, it appears to have worked well, at least for publicity alone. |
Gadols:- You're a DavidO worshipper; he is your god; this David who shamelessly abused a defenceless girl in public, at the altar of your god - Devastation of the wisked in his belly? Whatever you're smoking must be very strong; I don't eat junk; what's the belly devastation about? The religious madness that's overtaken your finger has started to work its way to your brain in a mutated form. - Wicked, perish? The only wicked fellow I see here is David: abused a girl, boasted about it, gone into hiding. I don't wish him to perish; only to 'repent', and pay some compensation to the girl, and apologise; too much for a suited so-called MOG? Of course; he's got an ego the size of 10 jupiters. - You disrespect God: to call David his servant after the slap and after the boast about this slap shows your disdain for God - Your threats are as empty as your faith; that emptiness has enveloped you; it was made manifest in David's behaviour at the altar - You curse the works of my hands? How does that work? I'm a sculptor; one of my works just sold preciously well today; today! A bank holiday! Double your efforts; whatever you're doing now isn't working. Or, change your tactic. - As to your escape route: what a nasty joke! Faith Tabernacle to 'confess' to what?? Ok; I repent in dust and ashes, I confess to writing about a pastor who exhibited no restraint. I confess. But this; he's an arrogant piece of work for boasting about it; and, he dresses like a p.imp; and, he should be ashamed. Need I confess again?? . |
Gadols:Yeye Christian. What can you do? Not a million chanting sessions, not a million curse sessions, not a million DavidOys could do a thing. Here's a condition: to amount to anything, you'll have to get David to apologise to the 'witch' first. Else, Jesus and all the loyal angels will just be laughing at you and your fellow travellers like f.ools who know nothing of Christianity but only want to assume the posture. Fakes, all of you m.orons who cannot tell the difference between a love-vendor/p-i-m.p in white suit and white shoes and a representative of the Almighty Living God ;-) |
Chrisbenogor:I've been summoning all the spirits, both temporal and spiritual, from all corners of earth and the universe, from planets known and unknown, including all pastors to whom I've delivered tithes and offering, and those to whom I must continue to give, and all those old uncles and aunts who deal with powers and principalities on a personal level, and all the Mothers - Mothers! - alive and dead, including the Mother of God, at whose child's birthday David absented himself just yesterday. How could God listen to the deluded supporters of a man who defiled God's altar with an arrogant slap over the entreaties of Mothers supplicating to him on my behalf? They've provided plenty signals to continue to sue for justice on behalf of the Witch for Jesus (WFJ) against the Wizard of Slap (WOS, aka DavidO). What to do? |
- the world must be ready for hard times next year (2012)Neither of these is a prophecy. It could be shown to be true for any year since 1900, heck since any year before then. Joshua has said nothing important, nor prophetic. Use your brains; or, even less challenging, read your bible with some attention. . |
Gadols, the braindead DavidO worshipper wrote: I place curse over your life. You shall see misery and confusion from now on. You will eat the bread of sorrow and your miserable brain will emit darkness on your life. I mean it and so shall it be. I invoke the curse of deut 28 to be your potion. Favour shall be far away from you. I declare it so in Jesus Name Amen. That was a 'curse' supposedly meant for poster Nimshi, who had wondered why the slap-happy church dadddy had been absent at his regular post on Xmas day. Not done, Gadols the David-Oye (slapful pastor, who wouldn't confront the spirit in the witch, but would vent his infantile frustration on a probably disturbed girl) idol worshipper topped it up with an almost spiteful, almost vengeful, incohenrent and very poorly thought-out post (more about that later). A curse on poster Nimshi's life? On whose authority? On the authority of David the carnal pastor, or on the authority of Jesus the Christ? Gadols declares - in the name of Jesus, no less - that 'Favour shall be faw away from poster Nimshi; then I must ask: What interest has Jesus in this matter? Would Jesus have scolded and angry-slapped Mr. DavidO, or commended him for his performance? Would Jesus have been physically abusive to a self-declared witch kneeling at an altar for grace? Would Jesus have condemned a self-declared witch to hell? Would Jesus have asked, as DavidOy did, like a common thug: "Do you know who you're talking to"? Mr. David the bishop has earned the scorn of all decent people; Gadols deserves our pity too, for she believes - firmly it looks - that chanting curses - or typing them, as the case appears - makes them effective: she believes in magic, in 2011! I shall place no curse on you - it won't work - neither shall I pray for you - it wouldn't work; but I shall make a wish, popularised by another soul, whose way of life was superior to that of your cretin pastor, whose way of life was more humble than that of your arrogant bully of a pastor: may your road be rough. (That's actually a 'prayer'; you must however work hard to realise it). People 're perishing because of no knowledge. Shame on you, owrshipper of man; and shame on David Oyedepo the bully. . |
Welcome, all you David minions. Lots David zombies, welcome. David has gone into hiding; best explanation so far: his babalawo has advised him against appearing in public in white. As to the m.orons threatening fire and brimstone: what can you do? Here's a challenge: Gather all your prayer warriors, begin your chanting at any time of the day in any time zone, including at night and at your meaningless vigils. Do your spiritual worst. So what? You spiritual hero is an emperor with no clothes; this matter ought to be pursued until your self-titled bishop, Mr. yedepo, does the right thing: apologise to the 'witch' for slapping her in public. When you've all extracted your brains from your rectum, you will come to realise that this brand of Christianity isn't anything different from common thuggery. Mr. Oyedepo, slapping his way into grand ignominy. . |
People: 1) Oyedepo appeared absent from Sunday Service on yesterday at the Winners' Chapel main auditorium. 2) Notice this was the Christmas Service, also on a Sunday. 3) Was he there in disguise? Did he melt with the crowd? 4) His wife also appeared to be absent. 5) None of the stand-in pastors (in flowing/stylish agbada and regular suits) appeared to make any announcement on David Oyedepo's absence. Is he waiting for the angst against his Christian slap event to cool? Did he worship elsewhere? Did the spirit minister to him to go into hiding? Was he advised to make himself scarce for now? This is a common tactic: go into hiding until things cool down. You'd think Mr. Oyedepo would be beyond that; but one may be wrong. So, where's David Oyedepo? When will he return to his post? When will he apologise for his grand misbehaviour? When will be apologise to the witch? Or, was he present but was just invisible? |
Dalglish, that Liverpool manager who used to be a favourite, has shown himself a bigoted fool; same for much of those connected with Liverpool and football. To continue to mouth the suggestion that using 'negro' (or any version of it) in the context of what both players describe isn't racially chraged and meant as an insult, is to insult the intelligence of all thinking, reasonable people. Suarez is one from the gutter, and for all one's hatred of the ManU machine, Evra and ManU have come out of this melling like roses. Shame on Suarez, and Dalglish, and anything/anyone connected with Liverpool supporting a rotten attempt to denigrate another human earning a honest living. . |
Video of David slapping a young girl: http://news2.onlinenigeria.com/headlines/128428-bishop-david-oyedepo-slaps-girl-accused-of-witchcraft-during-deliverance-video.html A man without any self control, dealing with things beyond his keyhole view. David Oyedepo here exposes himself as an egomaniac: 'do you know who you're talking to'? Mere man, David, mere man. Slaps a young defenceless girl. He didn't slap the 'evil spirit', he slapped a physically present, defenceless, perhaps psychologically disturbed girl. What a shame! Respectable Christians who're members of David's church ought to reconsider their stance. |
Manipulative? Ignorant? David is certainly both. 'Touch not my annointed' - assumes the fellow is truly annointed, shey? Is God unreasoning as to consider evidence that those 'touching David' firmly believe him to be un-annointed`? God isn't silly; and the things David says and does betrays his unChristianity. No crime there; not even a sin. God. Is. Not. silly. Either David is both ignorant and manipulative, or, he's sincerely deluded as to believe himself. Neither of the options isn't pathetic. David is pathetic. Video of David slapping a young girl: http://news2.onlinenigeria.com/headlines/128428-bishop-david-oyedepo-slaps-girl-accused-of-witchcraft-during-deliverance-video.html |
SAPNET: at what locations are these rates valid? . |
If you don't visit bank branches, you shouldn't have much problems. GTB's online services are excellent. I fix almost all transactions online. Why should the people here - here on this site, with access to an Internet connection - go to the banking hall? Leave that to old folks and other folks afraid of conducting transactions online. . |
Can one find the Bureau de Change exchange rates online? . |
Nothing new. Sanusi the shameless populist. He was for subsidies before he got into government. He comments on political issues, yet, he's finding his main job, his CBN job, quite not as easy as a few sound bites and lecture rounds. |
A few Sundays ago Oyedepo had boasted that his university is the best in Nigeria because the institution operates by vision. This is nonsense, and nothing could be further from the truth. He'd also prayed last Sunday for 'divine intervention' in the lives of his congregation, including for indigent students hoping for some chance at a good education. We ask: why seek ædivine intervention' when a temporal solution exists? Oyedepo could offer thousands of scholarships to indigent members of his church, but this isn't the focus of the university. It's business. What does it mean when you have a university members of your church on the teaching staff couldn't afford for their children? If these universities would copy Havard, say, then they'd have generous scholarships for bright, indigent students, irrespective of religion. They could afford it, but that's nt their priority: who knows, the students amy begin to think for themselves. |
Contacts weren't in vogue when I'd needed help to see clearly. I almost always sat in the front rows in class, right up to the university. At my first job, I needed to have the glasses: the medical exam found I needed a pair; I'd known it for years. I've been using glasses since then. Like many here, contacts don't work for me; they were fantastic the first time I tried them: first time I'll be seeing clearly without aid in years, but what's the use when I can't figure how to get them out without incident? It's a problem when engaging in sporting activities, especially contact sports: you look vulnerable, and you know your eyes are. At parties, I'd almost always wish I didn't use them; no matter how cool your specs are, you can't look normal and party-like. That's a brief specs-party verdict. But wearing a pair has a number of joys too ;-) |
My friend, how do you know I'm not a Christian? How do you know I do not claim to be a Christian? How do you know God does not approve of my gentle questioning? You're making judgements - and deleting posts - based on your perception of Christianity. Your reasoning is wrong, as are your actions. Reform your ways and be respectful to Christians who do not appear to follow convention! I detest that you mention my name in the same line as you write about non-Christians. If you are 100% certain of my standing as a non-Christian before God Almighty, then go ahead and ban me. . |
nuclearboy:You're only partly correct. What the evidence from the bible shows is that God could let his own suffer unbelievable hardships for any 'good' reason; of course, the reason is 'godd' if determined to be so by God. It wouldn't matter that you're righteous. You could be righteous through and through before God, yet he could let your children be killed, let your property be destroyed, and let debilitating illness befall you. This is a problem, this unpredictability; how is it possible to trust someone who's capricious, and how could usch a person be dependable? It's a problem for humans, don't you think? . |
seyibrown:There's a contradiction here: Either the condition for full protection is the 'whole armour of God' or not. Either "God (sic) mercies are from everlasting to everlasting . . . " or not. Either you give God the responsibility as your ever present, ever alert, ever faithful security officer or not. |
All children are born with no belief. The evidence is abundant: many children will simply follow the religion of their parents, as children do in most things. The environment is powerful, just as nurture is. . |
You didn't rent the flat as a place of worship. You need to stop engaging in any activities causing any disturbance in the flat and on the property. If you feel spiritually threatened, handle that spiritually: shouting/making noise while oraying/worshipping/fellowshipping is out. If you feel too threathened, then leave the place. . |
davidylan:1) I don't think you're dumb; and yest, I probably also know a bit about Christianity too. 2) I could also agree that Muslims 'exploit' Christian beliefs (they'd be s.tupid not to); there's only one thing for pacifists to do once they decide to go to war: fight. 3) You'd have to ask yourself if your Lord and saviour would be proud to have you call one of his creations 'dumb'. This illusion - that the other is dumb - is often a distinguishing factor of fundies of all hue; it's also a hint that you've already lost the argument. 4) It's also clear you're under a dangerous misapprehension. Your master isn't very proud of you now, David. |
Nothing hypothetical; those are two statements/questions that speak to the core beliefs of Christian religious beliefs. You've got more hypocrisy in your pinkie than I've got in my whole body. . |
davidylan:Not sure. Jesus perhaps wouldn't approve, or would he? Heck, you're not even allowed to think such thoughts, or are you? |
zataxs:Well . . . this may be exceptional. 1) How old was the woman when she got married? 2) Are we sure she revealed all involved in her pregnancy? There're women who seek advanced medical intervention while also praying; curiously, they attribute any ensuing success to the power of prayers, alone, of course. ![]() |
Even if one accepts everything in your post above, you'd still be wrong. The original post requested for testimonies from Christians. It did not outlaw a discussion of those testimonies. I notice you'd written something about comprehension above. Speck in an eye, but log in yours . . . Perhaps you ought to read with better attention? . |
Thanks for clearing that up. However: Arab-looking is probably correct. . . He was a Jew. Or probably not: if God's DNA is 'Caucasian' & Mary was only an incubator. Jehovah's witnesses have some interesting representations of Jesus. . |
Then you ought to keep this on a private forum. It's not uncommon for religious types challenged to think clearly to misapprehend the meaning of public fora. The poster dirctly above - who also clearly claims to praise and believe in a deity - is a useful example. |
- The bible does not exactly teach that marriage is only 'until death'. - Jesus showed that marriage could end due to some other condition being meet. - This other condition could be argued to be a form of 'spiritual death'. - Based on the above, an interesting argument could be tabled for 'spiritual death' being a scriptural basis for divorce and remarriage. However: note that the other specific case where divorce with the prospect of remarriage appears to be allowed in an extreme case. Modernism - even in the strictest of Christian sects - has meant other forms of 'extreme' reasons have been allowed for divorce (preceded by separation), and for some religions, remarriage even when the offending spouse is alive. - You mention ' . . . living in sin that makes him spiritually dead'; this is rather ambiguous, the exact nature of the wrong would be important in some Christian religious sects. Separation would be 'easy' for a number of serious wrongs. |
