rabonni: why did this make front page even without comment ? : |
Hmmmm, clears throat, Going by the recent happings in the country especially on getting real information on cases of corruption, are there Nigerians we can still hope on that could not be bought over. Just 5 could give us hope, like God said to Abraham 'if I could see even one righteous man.... Who are your candidates? |

If i am to interview u, i wont even have time to listen till u finish. U can do this and dat, ok. U give one line of what u can do and i give u one line to do it instanta. I no need sweet mouth. Caution, dont let ur speech speak of pride! |
Did u say two months or two years? If u want to tell urself the truth, u know the bone of any business center is designing /graphics. Where u cannot give much in this area, how then do u expect to earn same salary with those actually doing the 'brain job'. Onething I must say is that i like ur disposition on ur flair for ur job and recognition of ur need to improve or prove u can do better. If it is two months, u hv no justification for salary increase. Two years ok yet u cant ask for what u dont earn. I wd advice u focus on gettn good experience and also making ur own customers while u are there. For u mockers, tell them u wd be better for ur decision to stay on. Experience and expertise have a great worth. Best of luck. |
Sloan: She is a thief and now being queried by her (also thieving) oga, how is that anyone's fault? You people pretend like if Stella's stomach is full and fat, then all ibos are also full and fat despite that several thousands are scrounging for a mean selling la casera and spare parts in every part of Nigeria. Well, save your breath - rather go and present how you want to go back to your se region in the coming national conference! When Odulah becomes minister in your region, may she steal to her hearts content! Just get your people to get their acts together and move out of the Western Region. That is all I care for now and I can't wait for this GEJ to make the conference VERY QUICK!but ur Arguing peoples congress say una no want the conference na. Abi na only u go represent them states? |
There are several ways u can do that without actuallt seeming very insensitive. There must be genuine reason why u are 'laying off' ur worker. Redundancy, inefficiency, bankcrupcy, insubordination, negligenc, fraud etc. Each situation determines ur best approach. Like someone said, if na 'mouth appointment, dont make mistake of writing a layoff letter, why? As it is there is nothing to back ur terms of service. Whatever u do written or unwritten apply the 'labour act' in paying severance pay. Where its on insubordination, inefficiency, negligency to duty, its always advisable to write at least two query letters and then a warning letter, by that, u hv prepared her mind she is threading on thin line. Bankcruptcy, redundancy: discuss the situation with the employee and preferablly advice her to resign.hy? There is always a stigma with termination letters. Fraud, conspiracy: express termination. However there is no smiling way to receiveing ones termination letter but do ur part by doing the fair things expected of an employer. Long sermon. Lol |
vinkolo: Owe him/her for donkey months without any hope of paymentu are neither an administrator nor a manager going by ur statement. What legal backing do u hv to owe ur worker and still put up a sack letter. |
This her pix dey fear me abeg. |
berem: Who cares?redhanded. Shebi u said u are not from owerri. |
Many urban myths that students carry from mouth to mouth are not true. Yes, the old hands try to ensure things remain the way they are, but I assure you that there are people who are, as we speak, changing the system. So, back to the point, this is not the reason first class students stay away. Its all about the money (and the nature of the job).
. I beg to disagree with u on this assertion. Rather some are not even given the opportunity to. I can tell u atleast 7 ppl i know ith first class who are not employed. Yes some may not hv the flair for teaching but i know the pay is ok atleast far better than what most pple receive in other sectors. Stop deceiving us with this low pay stuff, there is gud money in lecturing period. U pple want to receive more that u hv worked for. |
Demdem: Please kindly lecture us all about this unknown signed agreementmaybe an essay would help u more. What do u consider to be an agreement? Were they employed to intimidate the students? How many times hv they said to a studnet, u will only graduate when i so wish. How many times hv a student won his/her case against them before the senate even when it is glaring they faulted? What are they teaching/lecturing sef? Ppl who lecture same thing year in year out. Now because they believe its Jonathan, every Johnbull can protest. Sadists. Ask me their agreement with the students again, it is to keep them at home for months for whatever reason they believe! |
Demdem: The real reason why we all should support ASUU now and make sure the last time they will ever go on strike will be 2013keep supporting them! Are the lectuerer keeping their own agreement with the students. Asking for cash to pass them, sextually harassing the ladies, staying away from lectures. They want their retirement age extented yet they cant boost of one feasible research. Shioor. Its just ur bid to attack GEJ's administration, i know u for it. |
my crystal ball-gazing tells me that pdp is staging the kidnappings in Edo to discredit Oshie Baba's govt.
are u an Alueze? Or betterstill of Ezeokele? |
Ehyaa, R.I.P sir. Na sense i dey take watch super eagle's match now. As dem wan play dat penalty, i just take idea commot outside, when i hear goaaaal, i come enter back. D kin way wey our players dey play sometimes eeh, Person heart go cut sotaay! |
For me this girl dey wyn us. There is more to what she is saying/admitting. Where wd her mum be dat she wd so discuss and sleep off in her dad's room? All i see is a guilty girl who has debased her mums bed and is seeking sympathy! At 19 in this part of the world? U are still hugging and smooching dad, ok ooh anyway just stop whatever u are doing wit him and go for deliverance. Tell urself the truth cos if u continue to make ur dad the bad one, it wd be difficult to overcome ur lust for him too. Gudluck. |
salt 1: I know you mean well but this advice is a wife's nightmare: when a man is good, he's naturally good. But when he's a cheat, the wife pushed him.I understand where u are coming from, my response is based on the op's general assumption. I repeat not all men run after other women other than their wives. I stated three issues dat could also cause them going out though not only those. I disagree wit u dat despite the care given to a man he wd still go out, this is only true if he has been a serial cheat before he married . Now a situation where a woman 'starves' her husband of his conjugal right, wd such attitude not lead to looking else where? If a man is a cheat, ur marryn him wont more like change him, some of us wd settle for a cheat believing we can change them. Lie! As much as i agree some men are serial cheats, some are pushed into it by home pressures and the bid to belong. At least the ones wit moral upbringing can be tamed to some extend if we be wives indeed. |
MRbrownJAY: NONE!!!!!The money was given to test their management IQ. There was actually no real balance yet we are to make a choice. The third lady is more like it cos it wd be easier to 'walk' with her. The husband could at other time give express instruction to her to use this money for her personal upkeep. I believe she wd blend. The first, dat one na carton of wahala. The second, hmmm ok but she overdo nah. Lol. I see pretense. |
Well not every man. I can stand in for my husband. I hv known him for 18yrs + and he has not given me any reason to. -Some men sure do but hv u considered that our attitudes sometimes could send our men outside! -Other men who are into it hv been cheats even before u agreed to marry them hoping they wd stop. -Yet the others want to belong to the big boys club, so they follow follow what their friends are doing. -Dear ladies, we can still bring them home by being wives and not just women. |
oladoya: why cant this useless woman try to get the degree from any of our Universities in Nigeria? She knew people will ask questions and if we should follow protocol with what her husband is doing, am sure she will use twelve years before obtaining anything.See as u dey use hate disgrace urself. Did u read the write-up at all abi u no sabi the difference between Honorary and degree aquisition. Na wah |
Unassuming. ![]() |
I am in support of this. Okorocha shd stay one place. Nonsense. |
As for me, cooking is my hobby, taste my groundnut soup, pizza, shortbread, egusi, gravy and u wil come back. The only food i always dont get right no matter how i try is jollof rice.
why? Jollof rice is easy na. The taste is dependent on ur spice combination. Ofcourse we hv different grades of jollof rice, from the concotion to the super. One rule u must observe anyway is dont stir ur jollof with spon and learn when to lower the heat. Dont let the burnt bottom spoil ur food.If u find it difficult, then make ur stew ready first and per-boil ur rice before cooking together. I can tell u abt spices if u wish |
I am at best with onugbu soup, nsala, ogbono then my ofe owerri. For rice, my stew na baba. I hv native spices dat come out superb. I just love cooking however. |
baybiemee: And a heartless fellow said it was an act of God. And after reading the complacency of the pilot, all u cd coment is this? Ok let me help you, infact she shd hv carried the aircraft and the corpse on her head to Akure. Leaving who to blame here. |
yikelin: There is nothing wrong in looking for ones birth parents even my adoptive parents are behind me with this. So if you have nothing constructive to say then reserve your comments to those who know how one could go about it. He is being objective dear. All u needed do is to put more light on ur abandonment. No one wd literarily support search for parents who 'abandoned' their blood intentionally. Now how do we help when we dont know jack abt the situation. Where, when, and how u were picked/adopted. Clearer description wd be of greater assistance. |
chymystique: IMO, that curse is jst a mere abracadabra!.. Seriously I dnt see d wrong Ngige did by fixing his rally on the same day of d Ofalla.. He is having his ofalla and so wahI am sure u are not Igbo! No matter how we look at it, Ngige was wrong. If the rally has been in Awka, no wahala. But within onitsha is a no. No. No, its obvious Ngige is becoming a foriegner cos his unigboness is fighting him headon. |
