Coolcash1: My stock pick for next week
Seplat- based on oil price rally, expansion of gas plant capacity, return to profitability, higher ROE and operating efficiency Oando- based on oil price rally and market sentiment... HF- strong fundamentals, trading below its intrinsic value, profitability recovery and gradual growth in earnings Transcorp- government favourable policy on power, increase in earnings generation driven by its power business line, low PE ratio and PEG Diamond- possibility of div payment based on sale of subsidiary, low NPLs among tier 2 banks, market repositioning, etc
DD strongly advised.... In the medium term with regards to the bolded ,my only concern is the pre and post election period.. I hope the owners of the creek wouldn't rear their heads again. |

onegentleguy: My dear it appears u haven't learnt anything on the need for u to be HUMBLE given the many advises u got here yesterday. A lot of folks are by far in a far better financial than u. yet they remain very humble and calm in going about their various investment. (...I know a few here) U do not need to put out things smacking the impression of been so rich (ur building hostels, houses, merrymaking etc) Those aren't necessary !!
Apart from this forum, LEARN TO IMBIBE HUMILITY IN UR LIFE. ...the feeling of pride can only do u more harm than good. Humans are generally inclined to disgust the showy display of ones means of life.
SIMPLICITY and HUMILITY are 2 attributes u urgently need to imbibe !!
...just a sincere piece of advise.
Cheers. Dont you think it is too late for a grown man like him to learn these things... what happen when u try to bend a dry fish?? |

emmanuelewumi: I never bought any of the the stocks he recommended, billions of Naira were lost in private placements and penny stocks hyped and promoted by the guy.
The guy made a hell of money, companies management paid the guy to hype their stocks on his radio and TV shows, also in his stock newspaper and monthly seminars around the country. Yeah he made shit loads ! I guess that was part of my school fees then... I still have those stocks.. he probably foresaw Milo coming in 2018 |

crispgg: Ladies and Gents, I have been following this thread for some time trying to understand the trend of discussion. I discovered that a lot of high level language is being used and I am lost most of the time. I also noticed that a lot of the traders here are on short time trades trying to identify upswings and key into them.
I am a novice who was burnt in the stock market crash of a few years ago. I just want to identify two or three companies that have good fundamentals and growth potential that I can invest in and sleep with both eyes closed.
I will be very happy with a 25% share price increase returns by end of the year i.e. a one year time frame.
My ogas kindly help me o.... If you do not understand the language used here let alone the market itself I honestly don't think you should be investing you hard earned money for now , you would only likely get burnt again and again. Take time to understand the basics , the discussion here may then make some meaning to you when you read them and hence you may be able to identify your own picks. I may give you some picks now and forget to tell you when I am exiting. Please don't take this as a condescending remark , just a brotherly advice. |

rebekah2011: The investment is into the mining arm of the business. I hope people will not be carried away too far. you think its just mere coincidence that he has now decided to go into mining or the 50k rule . If he failed ( rather enriched himself) in the lucrative oil and maritime industry , I wonder how he would succeed in the even longer term prospect of the mining industry |
