I have got 2 accounts JIJO and long term. some proceeds from JIJO goes into longterm account and the cycle continues. you can explore that if that works for you EchoLima262: Thank you sir. You hit the nail right on the head with the bolded. I am a long termer and have not given a sell instruction for years! I made a detour when a few months ago I saw Oando which I have been carrying at an average of N7.00 go up to N10.50. Note the stock has not added any value to me! I then decided to open another account to trade while I retained my investment account elsewhere. But with the stated scenario, I think I will stick to my strategy but weed out stocks like Oando. |

igboboy3: What do you guys think of Total Nigeria? It's an industry leader and very near to a 52 week low. Q2 result not impressive, significant decline in performance as against 2016. Even with a good 2016 result I felt it wasn't adequately priced at the time, let alone their poor perfomance so far in 2017...it would likely hit its 52 week low and possibly even go lower. just my opinion. |

Thanks guys!! Daboomb: Large Quantity and at Wholesale/Importers Price (as opposed to Resellers Price)?
Go to Orile but if you want it very cheap and in bulk, ask for Elelganza Warehouse at the same Orile. Go towards the back of that warehouse, entering through the Main gate. One other place you will also get very cheap prices and in bulk supply is if you cross to the other side facing GTBank at Orile. There are Turkish importers on that side (ask for their warehouse but beware of people they call "Baranda" - market urchins no different from the Lagos Agbero/Touts).
Happy shopping. EndiaSami: At orile. You can call me. Would direct you. You can check my thread also. For sanitary wares & plumbing items |

stcool: Ok Sir. DFlour that may not pay dividend until 2018 is undervalued. Kontinue I never knew paying dividend is the only yardstick to measure the value of a company . I entered DF at a very good price hence I have good safety margin before my stop loss is triggered.. at current price am already about 65% profit and still not keen at JO, the general trend of the market still remains upwards IMO Again trade your plan |
Investment › Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by nio68(m): 12:03pm On Aug 10, 2017 |
stcool: No kidding this kind of offer can send DFlour back to support @ N4.50 if tomorrow we get another 5% drop. I saw it play out in Forte, M&B Don't compare onions with water melon.. the factors drivng DF price is entirely different from the stocks you mentioned..FO and M&B are over valued stocks IMO |

mercylicious234: @house, what is your take on fidelity bank? I have not traded this bank b4 cos of its large share outstanding vol.
It currently trading at 1.3 same as diamond. Q2 would decide ... expecting it to be good.. Q1 ratios are relatively better than comparable penny banks. Have some reasonable units here but my entry price was less than 1.2. You may want to wait for Q2.. |

if you have alighted the DF bus at the bus stop of your choice why bother about the remaining passengers yet to reach their bus stops ...some of us need the extra space to stretch our legs while waiting to get to the last bus stop.
trade your plan...leave others to trade theirs |

cadno: I have been in this forum since 2011. I also noticed that 90% of stocks that where over analysed have always Performed poorly or at best disappointed people. Example: Oando, FCMB, Unity Bank, Evens Med, FO, Mobil, etc. I have all my a whole year savings in Oando at N18 average price, but look at where I am now ...Lolz.
But look at stocks that nobody gives thought to like : Okomu oil, Presco, GT Bank, Dansugar etc. So my lesson : I no longer follow the noise on any stock over analysed here, I go the opposite. Hence even as much as I like First Bank...I am not buying yet. DanFlour is also another am not buying.
Please this is my personal opinion. someone seems to be playing baba ijebu with his money |

Chibuking81: Nigeria stock most at time work like gambling. All the stock are presently at their pick, the alternative direction is downward, the law of diminishing return is almost taking place, with expectation of Q2 result/ interim dividend, most stock climb to the top. Any company that release their result now will witness massive sell off, dumping, jumping out, meaning the revise will be the case. The voice that speaks to me within last week is a genuine one.
Am seen good entry opportunity before December 2017 for three months duration period, i.e against 2017 final year result, which is between January - March 2018. yeye de smell.. |

stcool: This is how they would send May & Baker to 0.88K, the real offers are not yet out and the bear market has not even started. Those that bought @ N6...NSE is wicked! ] a bitter lesson for people who bought @ N6... if you are not skilled in technicals that can help time ur entry and exit points its safer to go with fundamentally sound stocks ... if you are trapped in stocks with good fundamentals not in stocks with "potential fundamental" it ll just be a matter of time for the market to correct the price |
