It sure will have a ripple effect on the markets; and I doubt if Mr President even knows the meaning of NSE. Just watched "The danger of a single story" by chimamanda ngozi adichie on Youtube. I feel it applies here |

Chibuking81: In normal circumstances, did you know that as it stand now, that Diamond bank is undervalued in price when compare with Dangote flour, UBA and Access.
Diamond bank at current price of #1.15 x 5.6 = #6.44
While Dangote flour is #6.44 which is 5.6 unit of Diamond bank
By their q2 earning Diamond bank earn 40 kobo per a share, when compare with Dangote flour, 40 kobo x 5.6 = #2.24
While Dangote flour earn #1.16 per a share.
(#1.16 x 2 of Dangote flour = 2.32, i.e Diamond need to be double)
I think to close the gap, Diamond bank suppose to be selling at #2.30 (i.e #1.15 of their current price times 2), and still on that, it still undervalue because, we believe that Dangote flour on their current price is undervalued. Bros for your analysis better to use Diluted EPS which is 34 and not basic EPS... ur analysis may be somehow skewed though except if we close our eyes to other factors like the Dangote brand , the companies are in different sectors , Diamond's dividend payout is poor, growth rate etc.... I would def pick Dangote flour over Diamond |

Chibuking81: This days penny stocks pay more, in terms of capital appreciation and dividend return, goes by the amount of money involve.
I think this triples stocks are good to go both in capital appreciation/ expectation of dividend in this 2017 finals 1. Fidelity 2. Diamond ( if they repent this time and pay dividend it will make sense) 3. FCMB
By good EPS 1. Dangote flour 2. Eternal
By first class in fundamental / dividend payment history 1. Zenith bank 2. GTB 3. UACN 4. UBA 5. FBNH 6. ACCESS BANK ( Included) 7. Ucap 8. Afriprudent 9. Conoil
By try your luck 1. Honeywell 2.Sky bank 3. Transcorp 4. Oando (added, because it belong to this category) Not convinced FBNH should be on the list based on fundamental. Their current price would only be sustained if Q3 improves...Conoil's Q2 result get as ebe |

Chibuking81: Let it not be only on paper, Let it reflect in price of naira to dollar, Naira should go back to sub #190 per 1 dollar. Price of rice should go back to below #10,000, So that citizens with their monthly earning will meet up with their expectations. Not sure we can afford a stronger naira at the moment with the falling oil price. Oil still remains FG's major source of income |

Chibuking81: Fidelity will see below 1.20 if not 1.10, in the months of September. Remember, their 2017 EPS seems to be same with FCMB. ( Fidelity 31, FCMB 30) The only difference, is that Fidelity grow in profit to reach FCMB, while FCMB decline in profit to be almost the same with Fidelity. The bolded are significant bros... a failing and growing company |

emmanuelewumi: We all know what bad managers did to Cadbury, Unilever, Union Bank, Unipetrol now known as Oando. In the case of Cadbury and Unilever more than 8 years after the bad managers the companies are yet to fully recover. Calling them bad managers still feels like a glorification , there are "greedy b*******s" and the list would continue since no of them ever faces the wrath of the law. see what the likes of Mr Onasanya did to FBNH .... a few weeks ago I read how the former Skye bank MD bled the bank to coma...Despite these the society still exalts them! All these guy are walking free enjoying their loots! Why won't others do the same when they get there ??! Sorry for my ranting ... just angry |

Read this on a blog I follow.. interesting
What Is The Difference Between A Stock Picker And A Dog Catcher?
Summary
The stock picker seeks a perfect stock.
The dog catcher perfects his dog stalking.
None. Both seek that which chooses not to be found.
The summary tells it all. There is no more to this blog. |

bros lets stop criticizing each other's trading plan, we are in this market for different purposes, at various stages of our trading experience, capital availability grossly differs, time factor etc.... Identify what works for you and perfect it... review it as your situation changes. No single road to success! Rather a few more insider info/gist of the companies may help us make more money.... not Loco's type though sellydion: Friend , for you it is food for thought. For me it is away to easily get broke. What happens if you enter at support and there is a break of it. Loss only come in when you sold GOOD stock because of fear? Patience is virtue when you know what you are (buying)doing. 20% of N10m is N2m. That is good you said 3 days, however some people have held that price for months and years before that upside. Your 3 days is just plain luck. 100% in 6 months is N10m, see the margin. Pa Ewumi held UBA from N2.8 to N10 just putting in N3m will earn him N10m.Some of us would have sold at N3.36 earning pantry N600k. You don't need to play all stocks JIJO every where. Select good ones at good price and stay with it. If you have job be focus if you don't have go look for one.
No body is sure of anything, sure, align your portfolio and do risk management. Some buy Nestle at N650 and sold at N900 because of all this emotional imbalance and lack of patience. within more few days the price has gathered momentum making another 30% still going. When I saw the price at N800 I new it is time to jump in. It broke N800 to N650 somebody would have said I should cut my losses and move on See the thing trading at N1200. |
