mendes911: NSE gradually packing in more customer. Shebi some people don rally round, go buy Fidelity for N3.20. We are watching them in 3D.
Dead Cat Pounce.... What was wrong with picking Fidelity at N3.2? its numbers can support it ... would rather pick Fide at that price than Diamond at the time ( the recent news of divestment may change things for diamond) ...just my opinion |

mendes911: For sure. I expect the market to go low but I do not really expect FCMB, Diamond and Fidelity to drag other stocks down. Yesterday might be the worse effect on other stocks. Today might be different.
As they decide to go to park, let them go alone in peace. I feel Fidelity shouldn't be part of the flock, it has good enough numbers to back up its current price |

wanaj0: The problem with OandO has little to do with SEC. The problems were there before the Mangala petition. The Ansbury petition is still pending.
Would really like to understand what the attraction is to OandO by any investor. collect some refund of my school fees from newbies I guess . Fundamentally it is a no no for me but it def attracts a lot of sentiments which I possibly can cash in on |

valacious: Dont know why people always forget to discount the extra cash made from noodles sale on dangote flour Eps. On the basis of that, you cannot compare flour with sugar...sugar that already paid 0.50k interim dividend, with guaranteed promise of final dividend, infact DF may not even pay dividend.....I sold dangote flour today at 17.50 and no regrets..may load more after pull back...to me I will choose sugar over flour... Agreed but market sentiments appear to be in favour of DF.... market sentiment is a significant factor see access and uba ; zenith and GTB ; UCAP and Afriprud |

I was 100% in Flourmill before now; once the news of 27 right issue came out, na me first enter front door cross over to diamond. So I have significant flourmill rights tied down at 27. Hope this bull push it to 60 Hmmm.. why do I think somebody here was involved with the Vetiva report #justjoking Diving 100% in Diamond at that time was def a bold move except you are privy to some info |

emmanuelewumi: Csl is also one of the top five houses in the Nigerian stock exchange.
Big houses have a lot of institutional and foreign clients, you can always move when they are moving before it becomes a public knowledge.
During the bull run of 2003 to 2007, I was a margin trader with FBN Securities. Please elucidate sir .... How else would you know they are moving aside the obvious increase volumes ? Does FBNH inform its customers about moves by the big players? |

Cadillac15: That's the unfortunate irony bro. Wether you accept it or not, posts here affect the movement of small cap stocks in NSE. Only the big Caps are immuned for now because members don't have the capacity to move the prices. I was a guest of this thread for years before I registered my presence here and I can bet my DF shares that 80%+ of the movers of the market come here to guage stock sentiment before making up their minds.
Why do you think caverton, ci leasing, etal, started moving when u started your speech? Anyway, post responsibly Hilarious, get real bro |

GANDALF1: Now my verdict.
If you have Dangote flour in your portfolio, treasure it for the next 6months to 1year. When the price is compared to flour mill's price of 33+, thats a great discount for a stock that should be selling above Flour mill's price as of today.
My humble prediction is that while, they might declare a little dividend, say 50k or 40k, the possibility of a bonus share is very high and the only thing holding it is that move.
Dangote flour mill is Gold and That's It. Good FA, I feel div is quite unlikely though..cheers |

Parisfran: Today's posts reminds me of the forex thread. Someone will share a negative opinion of a currency pair and some people will take offence with it. I always wondered if they imagined NL talk actually affects the $4 trillion fx market.
Maybe NSE is affected by NL talk, but I really doubt the effect might be significant. Someone's (free) opinion should not even be affecting adults that are cautious of the risk involved in stocks. NYSE is full of various kinds of pundits that can say and unsay anything but nobody ever takes them to court because last last there is a disclaimer out there for everybody to read.
This morning, when they said DF was going to reach 18. All our body was sweeting us. Now only 1 naira loss and we are doing like our enemies are doing party on our head.
Disclosure- Broker: Meristem. Stocks - 2 out of 3 Alhaji stock, 3 banks, 2 flour mills, 1 cement, 2 sugar coys, and 1 new age company .
