Sarkin:Didn't know you have actually lost your mind. Wish you a quick recovery. |
Take it or leave it, Dino is very blunt with the truth. Though he is also one of the problem of this country. |
Focusmind:You speak ignorantly. Haven't you heard of intellectual property? Whatever emanates from a corporate entity becomes a property of such organisation. When you publish your thesis in a peer review journal. Do you need to patent it before whoever usedbit acknowledge or reference you when quoting your work? Nobody ever defend APC without ending up losing his mind |
deomelo:Show us the official APC logo or remain silent in the midst of independent minds |
This is à National Disgrace! Lazy Nigerian youths learning from lazy Nigerian politicians No wonder our school projects are all plagiarised works |
My vote for Jimi Agbaje. Time to change Lagos. I've been a pro-Tinubu for long but he has shown to be selfish and greedy ambitious man. Lagos needs a Governor who can take decision on his own. Lagos needs a Governor who will work for the people first, before the party. Lagos needs a Governor who is a son of the soil Lagos needs a new crop of politicians outside the regular Tinubu caucus. Lagosians....persistence will break every resistance. Jimi Agbaje has been persistent, it is time to join him and resist Tinubu machinery. I will vote Jimi Agbaje |
Please can you advise me where I can learn more about this business. I was mistakenly and fortunately brought into this business by helping with some administrative work, I find it very lucrative. I am now trying to check online to see where I can get more education on this business. |
Atiku is a paternal orphan. His father died when he was just 11 years old. Check the dictionary for the meaning of an orphan. 80% of people would have thought it meant losing both father and mother alone. But if one loses either at age below 18, one is an orphan. |
RevenGeMission:You could have just taken the time to mention one solid thing this APC govt has done that would stand the test of time. Federal Universities in Oye Ekiti was upgraded Abi? Or the one in Otuoke? |
With all the acclaimed recovered loots, the govt still keep on borrowing. Who is deceiving who? |
RevenGeMission:This argument is very petty. Babangida was corrupt but he left us with Third mainland bridge Obasanjo was corrupt but he left us with Telecommunication Goodluck was corrupt but he left us with 9 new universities. Buhari is not corrupt but we can't see any visible progress. |
oyebanji44:You sound very ignorant. Do you mean bad economy is a sign of fighting corruption? On the other hand, when economy is bad, corruption rate increases. A man who receive a salary of N50000 can easily be bribed with extra N30000 than a man who receive a salary of N250,000. Corruption in Nigeria is partly affected by poverty. Deal with poverty, you are indirectly dealing with corruption. Why should someone who is well-paid be collecting bribe if not for greed. Have you considered there are less corruption cases in private organisations unlike public organisations. It is because the privates try to satisfy their employees than the public's |
oyebanji44:Which politicians are you talking about. Hope you are not talking about the unlawful detention and disregard for court order? Single Account was done by PDP. I still hold believe that PDP though corrupt have contributed to fighting corruption by creating systems such as TSA and commission such as ICPC and EFCC...what system has APC created to fight corruption? The same government went around to keep money somewhere and then went back to remove the money just to tell us of fighting corruption. Who are the owners of the Ikoyi billions Up till date EFCC cannot say.Bola Tinubu is not corrupt Ganduje is not corrupt Abba Kyari is not corrupt Rotimi Ameachi is not corrupt Oshiomhole is not corrupt Mr Grasscutter is not corrupt Baru is not corrupt. The list of non corrupt people in APC is endless.... |
Same way they will say We Promise The Next Level But Not In Four Years Fashola has ruined his chances of ever governing Nigeria. |
We are tired of the statement of fighting corruption. I've read where some people say we either fight corruption now or never. Please, which corruption are we fighting when the corruption-personified people are the politicians from the two major leading party. Who can dare say PDP is more corrupt than APC? There is nothing like more corrupt or most corrupt! Once someone is corrupt, then he is corrupt. The fact is both APC and PDP are corrupt. A President cannot claim he is not corrupt while he wines and dines with CHIEF CORRUPTION OFFICERS well-known by the populace. The reality in Nigeria is that we do not have anyone who can fight corruption to a standstill. In fact no SINGLE PERSON can ever fight corruption. It is system that fight corruption not individual. Hence the gimmicks by the APC does not hold water. Fellow Nigerians, we will be deceiving ourselves if we think the present crops of politicians from the two leading parties involving Bola Tinubu/Oshiomhole and the other involving Atiku/Saraki can fight corruption. We must ask what other things these politicians are capable of doing! I hereby challenge all APC supporters who have been chanting we must fight corruption now or never to list how the APC-led government has fought corruption since it took over power. Only a fool will doubt proof. To lie on fighting corruption without evidence to have fought corruption is in itself a grave corruption. |
Very funny |
You hear a word or phrase and instantly you remember some things, events or people around such words or phrase. The Redeemed Christian Church of God started her Holy Ghost congress in 1998 popularly known as Lekki 98. After that great move of the Holy Ghost at the congress, the congress has been waxing great. A look at the themes of the Congress held so far showed that someone from APC has been using RCCG's congress theme for APC political agenda. Could it be the Vice President who is also a member of RCCG? I can't tell. Over the years since the maiden programme in 1998 Divine Visitation, Victory at last in 1999, Open Heavens in 2000, Wind of change in 2001, Showers of blessings in 2002, A new song in 2003, The master key in 2004, The ultimate break through in 2005, Heaven on earth in 2006, The next level in 2007 Joy unspeakable in 2008, Our God reigns in 2009, All will be well in 2010, A new thing in 2011, Signs and wonders in 2012 and The overflow in 2013 to mention but a few. The Congress has continued to provide some insight to what God does in the lives of human beings and in the lives of nations. This year's Congress is themed GLORY AHEAD. |
edi287:Tactics is different from versatile. This isn't an English class but for clarification. Tactics is another word for strategy or method. It is not common to see someone who is skillful without tactics. Hence Okocha is both skillful and has tactics. Meaning he has a strategy of getting over a player with his skill. By the way, it is out of place to compare Okocha with the new generation of Messi and C. Ronaldo Okocha, Luis Figo and Zidane were in the same league I am of the opinion that Messi and Ç. Ronaldo are just lucky to be around when there are low quality defenders and goalkeepers. Maldini Nesta Thuram Stam Cafu Hierro Roberto Carlos Oliver Kahn Buffon Castillas etc |
Sam Allardyce was right. Many of the people commenting here either lack comprehension or they were much younger during Okocha's wave. The man did not say Okocha was better than Cristiano Ronaldo and Messi in terms of goalscoring but in terms of SKILLS AND TACTICS. This was even confirmed by Ronaldinho when he stated that the only playing he enjoyed watching to play was Jay Jay Okocha. Fact is Okocha is a wonder when it comes to playing with football. I've watched many adverts and solo games up till now, Okocha still has that skills and tricks with the ball. Messi and C. Rinaldo could have all the accolades but when it comes to skills, tricks and tactics, none of them come close to Austin Jay Jay Okocha. |
SolutionMee:Are you serious Are you sure it was diluted? Are you also aware that such pesticides is heavily regulated? Are you aware that such pesticides should never come in direct contact with food. Stop spreading false information. No thanks to NAFDAC for allowing different unscrupulous people to handle food substance. THIS IS THE MAIN REASON THE UK BANNED OUR BEANS |
ogunsbanjul:Please stop saying thrash. He was a minister of agriculture then, not a minister of power. And it was visible to the blind and audible to the deaf that Mr Akinwumi Adesina served meritoriously and contributed significantly to the Nigerian agricultural sector. Secondly, if you were in his position as a minister in a government, would you go on air to criticise such government? You can't be paid by a company and still be speaking against the company in public. These are ethical issues you ought to know. Akinwumi Adesina is a technocrat and not a politician. So don't try to rub PDP failure on him. He honoured Nigeria by serving her and he served diligently. |
Chriswazo:Please be objective. Nigerians always support and opposed every time. Even when somebody does something very bad, stupid people would still support him. There is nothing bad in giving but is it the right time to give? Do we really have enough to give? Those Africans we had given in the time past such as S/Africa and Ghana, how are they treating our citizens in their countries? What is the economic benefit that this country 3ill provide Nigeria? Only poor people and poor mindset give to impress. Nigeria doesn't need ECOWAS but ECOWAS need Nigeria. The world rates you the poorest yet you are giving out money to the world when you can use it to take care of your people. America does not give aid where she will not benefit economically or otherwise. We must demand prudency from our leaders and not support every of their actions because they are our partymen |
Good job portfolio with a pay like that of a part time secondary school teacher Some of these Human Resources Personnel need to be tutored. You advertised for Quality Control Officer and the best qualification you can ask for is Business Administration.... What a joke! Where you have Chemistry, Microbiology, Food Science and Technology and Biochemistry. Which way Naija? |
Jimi Agbaje’s running mate, Busari Meet Jimi Agbaje’s running mate, Busari Mrs Haleemat Oluwayemisi Busari, Jimi Agbaje’s running mate Mr Jimi Agbaje, the Lagos State Governorship candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), has announced a lawyer, Mrs Haleemat Oluwayemisi Busari, as his Running Mate for the 2019 gubernatorial race. A statement, Thursday, by the Director of Media and Publicity of the Jimi AgbajeCampaign Organisation (JACO), Felix Oboagwina, said the PDP candidate picked Mrs Busari following comprehensive consultations with leaders and stakeholders within and outside the party. “Mrs. Oluwayemisi Haleemat Busari came highly recommended and widely endorsed,” the statement said. “Stakeholders all agree that without any iota of doubt, the Jimi-Haleemat combination is a winning ticket on every count.” Married to Teslim Olatunde Busari, SAN, Haleemat was born, 1964, to the family of the Late Ahmed Tijani Shehu Giwa, a businessman and Vice President of Jamatul Islamiyyaof Nigeria from Epe, and the Late Mrs. Mujibat Abeni Mopelola Giwa (nee Shonibare), a princess of the Kosoko royal family from Isale Eko. According to Oboagwina, Mrs. Busari will be bringing to the joint ticket her versatility and connections as a professional in corporate governance, as a Muslim activist and as a bonafide daughter of native Lagos. The law graduate from the University of Lagos is a Director on the board of several blue-chip companies, including: Zain Nigeria Ltd (now Airtel Nigeria, a leading telecommunications company) and First Bank, Sierra Leone. Her passion for youth development has led her to head and sponsor several projects targeted at assisting young people to build socio-economic capacity at both corporate and social levels. Haleemat attended Methodist Girls High School, Lagos, after which she obtained a Bachelor’s degree in English from the University of Ilorin in 1986, followed by a Law degree from the University of Lagos in 1990. Called to the Nigerian Bar in 1991, she returned to Unilag for her LL.M. in 1995, before obtaining an MBA from the Lagos Business School in 2005. Her legal career began in 1992 when she joined the Irving and Bonnar/Bentley Edu law firm in Lagos and rose to the position of a senior associate, before leaving to join the Honeywell Group in 1999 as Company Secretary/Legal Adviser, where she rose to be Head, Group Legal and Regulatory Affairs of the Nigerian conglomerate. She is an active member of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) and the Federation of International Women Lawyers (FIDA). “Oluwayemisi’s life and beliefs are guided by her strong Islamic faith, which has been her foundation all her life,” the statement said. According to the release, in her 20s, Mrs Busari co-founded, as the founding Amira(female head), the Movement for Islamic Culture and Awareness (MICA), anorganization that provides a network and fellowship platform for young Muslim professionals. Source: Nigerian Tribune IMO....this is a good choice as she is from Epe where the incumbent Governor hails from. Epe people are already angry with APC for the treatment meted at their son, Ambode. The relationship she has with the Kosoko family also make her a great choice. Overall, it will be a great challenge |
It is sad that I'm writing about a network I've been using for over 13 years! But who cares, no network in Nigeria rewards loyalty rather the freebies are for new customers. Having said that, I want to use this medium to complain about the systematic ripping off of customers by GLO network provider. I have been a very loyal customers of GLO and I've spent over 100 of thousands within since I've been using the network. Few days ago, to be specific on Sunday 28 October 2018, I got information that the wife of my friend had just put to bed, I was very excited and wanted to call my friend. I realised I had no sufficient credit balance to make such calls. I had adequate balance on my MTN but I believed a Glo-to-Glo call would be economical. So I decided to use the BORROW ME CREDIT offer of Glo. I decided to borrow N200 then N30 was deducted as service charge. I was able to make a call through to my friend and his wife. Fast forward to Monday, 29th October, 2018, I was about making a money transfer from my GTBank account using the 737 code. Then I realised I could not make a transfer because I have exhausted the credit I borrowed from GLO. So, I decided to payback my loan of N200 by paying from my bank account. Here is the ripping off! Using my bank account, I bought credit of N250 believing that would be able to take care of my N200 borrowed credit and the N50 balance sufficient to make the money transfer. Unfortunately, the credit I bought was credited into a separate account and was multiplied by 4 meaning GLO gave me N1000 but I still remained a debtor to them hence i could still not transfer money from my bank. I called the customer care, I was told whenever a customer did not load a round figure like N200, N300 N500 or even N1000 such amount goes to a separate account. To cut the long story short, I had to buy another N300 credit from my bank in order to offset my borrowed credit and made the money transfer Glo Network brings up new offers without properly informing their esteemed customers hence causing us to pay more. Why should buying of credit of N250, N750 or even N1050 be channeled to a separate account that cannot be used to even send text messages to other network? This is a systematic ripping off of customers! NCC should do something |
Doyin2:Is that how your own certificate looks like? The GCFR cannot order the Military Board to get his certificate. I was about to insult you....but I remember, that will mean there is no difference between you and me. Next time be courteous, not everyone that comments online is in your level |
