I have maternal roots from Lagos Island as well, and also Ijebu roots in my maternal line from the late 1800s, so this shows that male parents have to teach their kids their languages and family histories while remaining global citizens who can fit into any situation.

Gbadebo's father failed to do his
bit (for his ethnically mixed son) by giving his son some proper cultural grounding as a Yoruba man with 1800s Yoruba returnee ancestral history from Sierra Leone and Fernando Po.

He even said in an interview I heard early last week that he was going to cancel the Lekki Airport
