Religion / Re: Guys Weaving Their Hair? Right Or Wrong? by NiteAngel(m): 8:34pm On Jun 16, 2007
Why must you drag the Bible into every lame issue.

If weaving your hair defines your culture, career, personality; go ahead and weave otherwise leave it for teens who are still striving to carve out who they are.

Rowlandwhy, point of correction; males (like you) who find time to make up, wear English costumes and make noise are simply defined as clowns! Arunruala!

Politics / Re: Dress Code Of Nigerian Policians: A Disgrace by NiteAngel(m): 10:20pm On Jun 15, 2007
Rowlandwhy, if indeed you are a Nigerian then I pity your situation. What is the beauty in having to knot a tie forcing your gogogongo to undergo undue stress and wear tontirin trousers that gives your kini hassles. I'd rather enact a law to compel all leaders to wear traditional attires especially when in official functions and also a law compelling them to send their young children to Nigerian schools and receive medical attention in Nigeria. That way our economy will receive a boost.

With the ban on clothe/material importation we have seen a boost in our ideas and by implication our clothing industry.

Wake up man; today you need an identity to survive.

cheesy It means exactly what she said; return to see her when you can drive down or at least pay for a taxi. You two may have been on a face-lift relationship otherwise how you got to her place shouldn't matter. Hardluck brother.
Jobs/Vacancies / Re: I Am Now With Zenith Bank At Port Harcourt by NiteAngel(m): 9:44pm On Jun 15, 2007
Funny Caustic, I'm sure the comment you responded to has to do with recent kidnappings of Whites in PH.

Poster, congrats. Pay your tithe, be diligent and never become too sentimental to go for a better job. Don't be stagnant; your employment may be based on sentimentalism but your employers won't become sentimental enough to keep you when a better person is waiting in line; be productive. When you start thinking of moving the funds you see into your account then it's time to run.

Achieve.

Here, on this thread. I know that's hasty generalization but I have always believed that a present experience is indicative of the present situation. I'd speak to my friends and read more. I'd also have my friends in the print media look into it.

I can't believe that this is still as pronounced as it was in the 40s and 50s. At times I wonder if Christianity has not been reserved for the church and formal occasions; isn't this what the power of Christ came to destroy? At times we wait too long for the whites to come in to take credit for what we know is barbaric. Like the killing of twins; I see an end in sight
