Romance / Re: I Am Tired Of Being Like This. Advice Me Pls by nitt: 12:13am On Nov 26, 2021
It's not a bad thing op.

You are who you are.

We can't all be extroverts, funny and jovial.

Life will not have a balance if we all possess the same characteristics.

I can advice you to meet people online, engage in chats, and take it from there. That's the beauty of the Internet and social media.

There are apps like Twitter, FB Messenger, Muzmatch etc for your online social interactions.

Don't stress yourself bro.

Relentlessly ignorant, I expected that but don’t make baseless allegations, point wherever you saw this write up on the ww web, your house or anywhere else if not hold your peace about ‘copy and paste’. Like I said, you were probably not aware of this site when people were clamoring for an app version from Seun, so again hold your peace about who knows what.
Not everyone is into social media apps, especially one filled with your likes. Don’t be ignorant.
Nairaland is not an app but an Internet forum with an app. You sent a link, I sent a photo LOOK AT what Nairaland is known as. The facts remain what they are.

Because Nigerians naturally are husslers and hard working people, so if they apply half of the effort threy use in Nigeria over there in the USA, they'd become millionaires.

Also, the American system is built in such a way that there's reward for geninue hard work. Over here in Nigeria, no matter how qualifed or how hard you've worked, if your name isn't Abdul, Mohammed, Aisha...and come from a certain section of the country, you're just wasting your time.

By 2023, more than 98% of Nigerian youths would have successfully migrated out of this hell hole.

This I have seen.

Failures always blame others for their pathetic situation.

Young baby, you must be ten or something. Nairaland is an Internet forum type of website, not an app. When Nairaland was created, APPLICATIONS FOR WEBSITES DID NOT EVEN EXIST. When men and women were begging Seun Osewa the founder of Nairaland to create an app version of this site for us to use, you were probably not even born…

The fact that a platform creates an application to be accessed doesn’t mean it is an ‘app’. Nairaland was and remains A WEBSITE. The website in turn hosts Nairaland’s application for easier access.

Tinder for example is an APP, Nairaland is a website. See their two Wikipedia definitions down there as example before you embarrass yourself further.

Grow a brain, learn correct terminologies before trying to distribute sense. Ignorant Pea brain.

All this jargons just to disseminate garbage.

You numbskull think all members logged in through the website, that's just strenuous for most.

And that's why I made reference to it as an app in the first place.

Your Copy and paste education is at fault here.

I couldn't vote. I wanted to vote Jonathan. I stood in long queues for hours for several days trying to get my PVC. I still couldn't. Many people didn't get theirs. Meanwhile small northern boys who do scrap metal business near my place were receiving calls from their friends and relatives in the North to come and collect their PVC's which the said relatives have collected from INEC. I, a grown man, could not get mine in the South. In the North, small boys were being begged to collect theirs. INEC officers went from house to house to deliver voters card to people, including relatives of actual owners of the cards in the north. Prof Jega dealt with the south. He disenfranchised us and gave Mr Buhari victory

All the people you mentioned from the South, including Tinubu that I usually condemn stole their own state money not federal money like those Ab0ki criminals.

The money Abacha stole alone will build a new country. Then to talk of the one Buhari, his family, his political fronts and associates have stolen.

Ab0ki are the bane of Nigeria's progress, they steal without fear or remorse. They love it when they are the only one stealing to go to Mecca to collect terrorist title.

Ab0ki is the number one problem Nigeria have, they are remorseless criminals. Buhari family, including his wife Aisha is currently a billionaire just for being a first lady of few years yet they are the first to shout fight corruption, foolish criminals

And where does the state money come from?

Ab0ki alone have stolen 80% of Nigeria's commonwealth.

They have no fear or remorse yet they wear the longest religious caftan and hit their head the hardest on the floor during Ramadan.

They are always quick to form too religious, but deep down their hearts they are as wicked and selfish as the devil.

Just take a look at what an ordinary civil servant stole, you can then imagine what Abacha, Buhari and his associates have stolen from Nigeria.

This is terrible, that's why they keep chanting one Nigeria because their only hope lies in stealing Nigerian public funds through government office positions and posts sad angry

Op, from your story it is obvious you didn't know the person you married. You married a stranger.

Marriage is not a sprint bro it's a marathon.

The only advice I can offer you is this;

If, both of you feel you can't compromise your positions and find a middle ground to live as a family then, the sooner you end the union on mutual agreement before children come into the picture, the better for both of you. If she dislikes such house responsibilities before giving birth, then I can only imagine the situation when she gets pregnant and eventually has a baby.

All the best.

Ttalk:

You have raised a very pertinent question and unlike many who have nothing to say but to turn every discussion to tribal bashing.

There are some criteria required if you want to excel in political turf in Nigeria.

Be ruthless. Nigeria politics is not for nice man, neither it is for gentleman but for a strong willed person. It is not equally for intellectual because the more educated you are the more refine you become as you may consider some actions in politics as stupid.

Calculative moves. It is very useless in Nigeria to think charity and donation to massess would give you a political win, what that does is to give you popularity that would attract some vocal praise singers but irrelevant strata of people to your side. Sadly attracting such people would place you against the political elites of the society

Popular party. Regardless of your popularity, you need a very strong political platform in order to win popular vote. The case of president Buhari who lost 3 national election before becoming president is a good reference here.

Emotional stability. This would be a very eye opener to many of our Igbo brothers especially on Nairaland who have been sentimental in their political analysis, some of them look at politics as mere arithmetic exercise rather than accepting it as a complex calculus. Politics requires you to exploit your strong point rather than focusing on your opponent weaknesses. In Nigeria, such weaknesses doesn't matter when it comes to chosing their leader. The electorates are shortsighted and rely on pecuniary gain in making political decision.

Your eligible voters are your market space, your product must reach them, the very poor and uneducated people of the society are the one that takes voting serious while others are just online noisemakers who doesn't believe that their participation could change the narratives for better

Nice analysis

If the youth can start an a telegram group and select who should hold office, we will not only outnumber old men like the Liar Mohammed, we will retire them to where they belong. We need a mobilizer!
