I have checked with my bank. no fund was paid into my account, no pending payment reflecting in my account.

I think you should check your books for reversal. I am spending to much of my time trying to get my payment from you. It is too much of my time. This is the first I will be hearing someone send cash to me and never reflected. What bank is the cash coming from, what is transaction ID, can you send in a snapshot of the successful transaction?

If I don't get a positive response before noon today, I will leave the cash for you and come back later for you.

Regards

EducationLagos State University External System (#LASUES) Student Shut Down Ikorodu Road by niyiguy(op): 10:34pm On Sep 10, 2016
Lagos State University External System Student took to the street to express their grievance over some many issues surrounding their lives as a student.

Students have been in school for years, even students in 500level can not find their 100 level results. What we get after every examination is always a missing, blank result and when the school fix the paper for student to retake, it clashes with one or two papers.

5yrs course in LASUES is 7yrs and after spending 7yrs of one's life, the school can not provide us with our results, student profile isn't updated, no student of LASUES knows his/her stand as a student.

All the school care about is fees.

This is the reason why IKORODU ROAD WAS ON LOCK DOWN. It is just a tip of an iceberg.

Our next protest is going to be across the whole state, we will shut Lagos down completely, I also want to use this medium to plead with All Lagos State University External System student to please join in this struggle.

If we can't make Nigeria a better place because of our parents who are extra-ordinary corrupt, we will fight the state government with peaceful protest to make sure our wants are granted.

It is so surprising that during the PROTEST, None of the media houses showed up. Looks like they were paid not to support a good course. If we continue to live like this Nigeria won't just be 40 years behind development but would never grow.

THIS STRUGGLE CONTINUES ON SOCIAL MEDIA

SOCIAL MEDIA CAMPAIGN: TO FIGHT FOR THE RELEASE OF OUR RESULTS AND CERTIFICATES

Lagos State University External Campus (#LASUES)

Campaign Tags: #LASUES #EKOTinBaje

All undergraduates and graduates of Lagos State University External Campus should participate in this Social Media Campaign, to support the struggle for our Results and Certificate.

After years of graduation, results are not released, profiles are not updated, and CERTIFICATES are kept in safe house, FOR WHAT?

THERE IS NOTHING TO BE AFRAID OF.

It is time to confront our challenges!

Let us all join the Social Media Campaign targeted at tackling the challenges staring us in our faces.

BusinessDon't Do Business With This Person - De-hope Aluminium NIG. Enterprise by niyiguy(op): 6:16pm On Aug 31, 2016
De-Hope Aluminium Nig. Enterprises is a small business in Ikorodu that specializes in Aluminum Roofing, Aluminum Sliding Window, Aluminum Sliding Door, Suspended Ceiling Tiles, P.V.C Ceiling, T & G Fibred Ceiling

Address: 58 Shagamu Road, Opp, Tipper Garage, Ikorodu, Lagos - TEL: 07035271444

This is my side of my story and after reading you decide to give him a job. I believe you will tell your own story.

De-Hope charged me 930,000 for Aluminum Windows, which he promised to deliver in 2weeks, within one week plus of the job, I paid him 630,000.

Our initial agree was to pay kick-off fee which was 630,000 then balance 300,000 after completion but within the job after paying 630,000, he requested for another 150,000 that cash is delaying the job, I was compelled to give him 150,000.

Exactly two weeks after the job, I had already paid 780,000, which I am to balance him 150,000 after completion, I got pissed after a month of posting posting posting, I am yet to get my job.

I don't want to involve the police because they are corrupt, they will collect Money from me and from the him, yet my job won't get delivered.

I just thought I should share my own side of my story.

Jesusgang:
You are highly welcome bro.

Firstly, lets analyse the docs you submitted. You dint submit enough documents, please check this link for more info on the list of docs you are expected to submit.

Secondly, you need not worry about travel history (except you have stayed beyond your permit in Canada or any other country) as many applicants on this forum with zero travel histories have gotten their TRV.

Thirdly, you need to also share your educational history, what program did you enroll for at your undergraduate level if your aiming at a postgraduate degree and what program have you chosen to study in Canada.

Overall, please read these wonderful write-ups by @thesoj and @ seiraries here and here respectively to know more on how to tackle refusals.

Best Wishes
The program am going for is Associate Degree in Computer Science

These are the reason for denial

You have not satisfied me that you would leave Canada at the end of your stay. In reaching this decision, I considered several factors including

1. Travel history
2. Family ties in Canada and in country of residence
3. Purpose of visit

Hello all, still waiting for a response from cic, applied Nov 10. House I would like ask a very big question here, a friend of mine applied via an agent in Oct and got a denial response from cic on friday. Is it possible for her to apply via another agent. The reason she use an agent was lack of funds as a parent doesn't have sufficient funds in their account to show capability of sponsoring her. Someone must have been in her shoes; kindly advice.

I got this update at 9:30 am today, it says

"There have been no updates to your application (S301276176) since you last checked your MyCIC account. Thank you for your patience."

Few hours later at around 1:59pm today, another update came saying

"Your application has been updated. Please sign in to your MyCIC account and check your application status and messages for more information".

When I logged on, there was no update.

Any view of what is happening!.

Looks like I am on overdosed with Chilling Pills, 8weeks without any update, I check for update everyday, everytime I am free, I spend my free time checking for update, 8weeks of ones life seating on the fence because this is stalling plenty of discussions.

God help me with this plenty of pressure.

I submitted November 10th, no medical call yet. We can take chilling pills for stuff handled by other countries, but if it was to be a Nigerian organisation we for don over rant.

Wish TRV Applicants a success.

I like your story. Interesting pieces

mrsirdam:
I say it was tough because it requires a lot of hard work not compared tto what we are used to in Nigeria. If you wanna transition into a permanent resident in this country, youve gotta follow certain rules like keeping a job for a certain period, which is usually 1 year to be eligible to apply under the Canadian Experience Class CEC (you can read up on CEC online). many jobs; especially oil field jobs (white or blue collar) require you to put in lots of overtime. I had to work 12 hours a day for six days a week not stop for a period of 5months. It is really stressfull plus youve gotta brace up for the weather if you are required to work outside, which is really really cold (as cold as -30 to -40 degrees) up north Alberta.

Now i studied for 3 semesters in total out of which my folks payed for two semesters. i remember i took a summer semester off to go hustle in Alberta for 4 months in 2013 summer and I literally worked for 12 hours everyday from monday to saturday, as a landscape labourer. It was a really tough job for tough men only. but I made my tuition fees within that period ($8,000) while i was paying rent and other bills and I still had enough money saved that lasted me thru my final semester back in Ontario. I must have made $14,000 during that 4 month summer break but i spent it all on my tuition fees, flight tickets, bills bills bills.

Good news was that in this part of the world, there are lots of job opportunities that pay well, but only wise people can manage their finances because everything around is expensive too. There was no way i could have had a legit job in naija, without connections, without being the son of a politician or a crook and make take home after taxes $14,000 in four months
