phebeansans:Thank you very much for the quick update. I will call if I don’t get the approval letter by close of business on Monday. Have a safe trip! Kindly let us know about your payment experience on arrival. A friend had mentioned they rejected her Nigerian-issued cards including GTB USD debit Visa card for payment when she arrived some weeks ago. She had to beg a foreigner to pay for her with his card while she gave him cash. Meanwhile the NIS website had mentioned that Visa/MasterCard are accepted. I would have preferred online payment to avoid any untoward experience. For a first-timer, the process sadly is not as clear/smooth as other countries’ VOA programs. Thanks again and have a smooth trip. Looking forward to your update. |
phebeansans:Hi Dear, I am caught up in exact same situation as you but my trip is next week. Could you please advise if NIS has reverted after the initial “Received” response. Did they send you the approval letter? How about the online payment? Where you able to conclude? I am still waiting for the approval letter. Many thanks. |

Below is a BBM broadcast from a friend. Guess it collaborates the cognitive dissonance experience of some Konga customers in this thread. "Am surprised no one has ever mentioned that Konga is a fraudulent on-line shopping site. It is worrying that for over a week now,an order placed has neither been delivered nor cash refund made despite several calls to the customer care team and mails to their "help" box. Is there anyone that can give me their physical address please (Not pick up centre). Feel free to re-broadcast till one of their staff get this." |
The fact remains that yoribas suffer PHDs (Pull Him/Her Down) syndrome in both corporate and govt circles. The "Igbo Problem" as mentioned in 'The Trouble with Nigeria' will never cease. This is not the first & won't be the last of such tribally motivated onslaughts on Igbos in positions. ~Bluetooth: |
I have had same experience @ AK filling station @ Challenge IB thrice. He would stop @ 2000 pretending not to hear 5000. Then, he would willing and obsequiously offer to make it up to 5000. I smelt a rat and have not be there since then. |
born_to_be_gr8t: I did my NYSC in ANAMBRA,that state is SHIT,the only reasonable amenities there was done by NGIGE,..the earlier the IGBOs start thinking beyond sentiments, the better for themUr state, not Anambra, is Poo. |
koastar: I was around Berger area in Lagos at the time and I intended watching the chat there but I was disappointed at what PHCN did. At exactly 0700HRS when the presidential chat was about to start, they took off the power supply. I learnt same thing was done in Akute area too.Same in Ibadan (Challenge area) |

When will all these senseless & faceless cyber attacks on SUPER BRANDS cease? The other day it was about Ariel being cursed in the bible; in recent past, it was indomie being a killer and so on. These brands are here to stay and such baseless attacks achieve nothing @ the end of the day. Don't forget: No one kicks a dead dog. |

Re: The Ariel Soap Rumour & Isaiah 29? by trolling(m): 5:07pm Ariel is another name for Yerusalem , temporarily the city is under a curse until its redeemed by Christ , as per Procter n Gamble we know the owner is member of the illuminati, but the soap has not nothing to do with city of Ariel (Quote) (Report) (Like) ....................................................................................................................... U are the most ignorant fool on the planet. The biggest FMCG in the world is not owned by any one particular individual but by shareholders. The share price is currently about 80$ per unit. Happy Easter to u 2. all d best! |
Hi Okpueze, Relax, they will call us. |
Hi guys, I'm fully convinced they will call us for interviews any moment from now. I got an invitation for the interview on 19th February with Adaeze Balogun. I got another call later intimating me that the interview has been shelved. I'll advise we all get ready because they will certainly call us sooner we might think. Best of luck to every1. Okpueze, we meet at BAS as colleagues! |
Hi Beekay, Ditto! Goodluck to us all. |
Hi house, Just got sms inviting me to d semi-final of their recruitment xercise on 26th jan. hope many of us made to this stage. |
Hi Okpueze, We are in the same situation. I applied to BAS. We'll just contact them as soon as we pass out. I also heard similar "stories". Whatever, let's first go through the first interview, the picture will become clearer. Which dept did you apply to? Don't u think we should keep this thread running to keep ourselves posted? Merry xmas and a happy prosperous 2008. 2008 is our year! |
Hi Thanks immensely. Pls also help out with Oracle 10g (OCA) get2ben2001@yahoo.com |

Ejisky, Congrats! Both companies are great. Tats however gave a very wrong impression of NNPC. I am an insider and know the immense benefits/opportunities here. The picture he painted is far removed from the reality. it's pretty difficult making any suggestions because you did not give any info on your profile, whether you are coming in as entry position, your discipline , |
